But on the book, it is written "moches" instead of it, and it means "Mario must push the ugly ones off the platform…". It's hilarious.
There is this part in the first package of the Lego build where you have to put these big long green beams into place. The perspective of the Lego instructions makes it look like it connects to a blue piece but in reality, it hovers over it by a space. It messed me up so much that i had to take it apart and rebuild it to make sure I didn't screw it up

I love Lego Mario so much, and as a huge Super Mario 64 fan, this set was definitely made for someone like me. I absolutely love Micro Mario and Bowser so much!!! This is a nitpick, but I do wish there was one more level added to this Block such as a Tick Tock Clock Easter egg. Like flip one of the question marks to reveal the clock itself. Maybe I’ll add it in myself. But as is, it’s an amazing set, and a fantastic display piece.

Hey I prefer the physical manual for Lego Sets over that mobile app ANY day. I got a Lego Mario set a few months ago and was surprised there was no manual and was like "What the freak is this?!" It also would kinda suck for any kids who like Lego who DON'T have a smartphone or whatever, it limits the number of kids who can actually play with the set to those who do.
When Lego Mario is connected to the platform, one of the challenges to get a star is to BLJ. You have to move Mario backward fastly and he’ll play the “ya-yayayayayhoo!!”
There actually IS a BLJ reference, I got the set for myself and 1 of the 10 stars you can get with the electronic Mario is called "Perform the ultimate jump" in the instruction book which requires you to jump Mario a bunch a certain way and he'll make the Wahoo Wahoo W-W-W-W-W-W-Wahoo! sound!
It took me almost a week to convince my son that lego mario is NOT going to get him after he saw this video. He went from excited for his Christmas presents, to being terrified of them. Uggg. I'm not sure if I'm mad or impressed at your storytelling ability.
I just finished building the whole thing and this video is straight up every single thing I either complained about or made an observation on, and it's great knowing I was not the only one who thought these things
I think the Super Mario 64 Lego set is awesome, but, I only have one problem: why didn’t they use a four-sided block based on the power-up hat blocks and the block containing some of the Power Stars?
Nintendo should make that romhack be offical and buying the Lego Super Mario 64 set would give you the code to unlock it in switch eshop. It would make lego that much more relevant and inspire kids so much.
