I really appreciate the video and really like those running boards. I need to ask though, are they slippery when wet or icy?

Appreciate the feedback! They are a little slippery. I think the fact that they are wide helps and although they have a little slip to them, I wouldn't say they are bad. Worth the money in my opinion though there's room for improvement on the grip

If you get Nerf or others - you may need to loosely attach brackets to the board, get the front and back brackets on the bolts (tedious as loosely attached with a single bolts means it is likely pivoting), loosely attach the 3 nuts (with washers) for those brackets, THEN get the middle bracket. I had to use my hip and elbow braced against the ground to get the center bracket over those bolts - but once over the 'tension' goes away and it fits (though you may think 'no way that fits'). THEN tighten everything up...

How’d u take the paint off the lower bolts? Did u use a wire brush only?

Luckily I didn’t need to! But yes a wire brush is the way to go if you need to remove any paint.

If I remember correctly, these also came with extra bolts in case you don’t already have them but I’m not 100% to be honest. Here’s the link maybe you can contact the seller:

Is that all u had to do. I just tried to put one and broke the bolt 😞. I bought mine used and didn’t know how to fully remove the paint off I tried sanding it but it didn’t occur to use a wire brush. Is there a liquid we should use too?
