      @@fernandapfernandes If I am not mistaken, you use FOR when you want to add some feeling to the action, or it'll do something good to the other person. So "this letter is for you" has a implicit feeling of kindness or something.
      TO is more related to whom you are giving it, as far as I can tell.

For the preposition of place is : i live ‘in’ (the name of the country) ‘at’ (the name of the street) . Hope this is can help

    Hi I have a question : when you make the ‘k’ sound at the end of the word for example milk or think or unique , I notice that British tend to make very interesting ‘k’ sound at the end. It’s very subtle and a bit of kicking/squeezing sound. It would be very very helpful if you can show us how to make the kicking sound. I have tried a lot but I can’t make the subtle kicking/squeezing sound. I do want to make that sound properly. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻🙏🏻

  • @alicerossi_ap
    @alicerossi_ap 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    (drumroll).....And, for me, the winner is (drumroll).....
    TO!
    'cause it introduces a direction, a destination, a purpose expressed by a verb and the second 30 minutes of the hour. ✌
    Sorry AT, you're simply used to indicate locations in time or place and, when used as a particle, you represent angry, aggressive or boring situations and actions.
