Brilliant, Aly! Perchance sounds nice, but I never use it. "To sleep, perchance to dream!" says Hamlet!
Interestingly, in American English, we say might/could be and have but not might/could do! Sounds very British to my ears. I wonder why that is because your logic makes perfect sense! Also, you’re right about reckon, except in the South. We use it all the time.

Don't do that, el inglés británico suena mucho más tierno y a los estadounidenses suele encantarle, como cuando te gusta o te fascina el acento de un país que no es el tuyo, por sonar diferente y destacar
American here. I've used "might be" and "might have" (sometimes shortened to might've), but I've never used "might do" in a sentence by itself (or heard anyone else use it that way). It's interesting that others use it that way. I have heard "might could" but usually only in very casual settings.
It is so funny to use those structures for years only to understand where they come from :D I am so happy I have come across your videos! Amazing!

Fascinating...I live in Canada, and I've never heard "Might do". Wonder why...it sounds really weird to me, but it makes sense in light of the other auxiliaries (be and have).

I like Perchance. The final word that perfectly describe maybe 😝 I’d love to hear about prepositions in, on and at in/on your next video. I work on a/in a ship. I've seen "perchance" only in this famous quote :
"To die, to sleep - to sleep, perchance to dream…” (Hamlet)
The thing with old poetry is that they are way too formal or strange nowadays, still sounds very intelectual
