These look so lovely! I honestly could not wrap my head around the magic ring until I watched your tutorial. You deconstruct the anatomy of these techniques so well, making them make sense. I really appreciate how much work you put into making sure everyone can understand.
I had a stroke in 2019 and use to crochet afghans. I have been trying to reteach myself 😮to crochet . Watching your instruction has been so very helpful. Thank you.
I just wanted to, Thank you, for the way , that you show , somebody how to make stuff, This is the second granny square, that I've made with you, showing how to make it. I have dyslexia, and I learned better, if someone shows me, then I can do it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hello! I just started learning to crochet three weeks ago at age 54!! I learned the magic circle from one of your tutorial videos and I LOVE THE MAGIC CIRCLE!! I am going to crochet this next!! I thought at one point during the first part the video was on double speed!! No, that was just you crocheting faster than anyone in the UNIVERSE!!! ( Now crochet yourself a GOLD MEDAL - YOU EARNED IT 🤗 )
This puff granny square is the inspiration for my temperature blanket. It will be my first one. Thank you for your tutorials. I hope you teach. And I love your accent.
Hi Robin, glad to see a post from you. Love this puff granny squares. I need to practice the puff stich, and you have provided just what I needed. Lol 😆
I love this square with the puff stitch. I also love a granny square, but this might be my new favorite stitch. I love the colors of the yarn you used too. Thanks Robin 🤗
The beauty of this stitch is doing it in variegated yarn. 🧶 Absolutely gorgeous Robin! I’ve never done puff stitches but this may be where I attempt it. Thanks for your creativity.
I’m loving the puffy granny square..probably because I am a puffy granny 😅 but anyway keep up with your amazing tutorials and I will keep watching and learning 😊
I LOVE doing Puffs!!! This granny square will be so nice to stitch up and it’s beautiful!! Thanks once again, Robin, for sharing your very calming stitch tutorial!! You’re amazing! 💕🤗💕
I love this square. I'm making a crochet blanket for each of my sister's children . I made several for my son when he let home for university and one for my sister in-law. I am currently finishing up one for my husband for those chilly nights watching tv. Someone will most certainly be getting a blanket using these squares. Love your channel ,tutorials are clear and easy to follow. Thank you ,take care
I love how you explain the pattern and show what ya are doing most show dnt do that I'm a beginner and I love how ya do thanks for sharing this video 🙂
I really love this alternative to the granny stitch. I mean, I love granny squares, but this is a lovely option. I’ll have to experiment to see how I can combine both styles into one blanket. I think they would contrast with each other well. Thank you!
I love your tutorials. Very easy to follow w/o going too fast or slow. All the books in the world do not compare to watching it "live." You clearly explain instead of playing annoying music and pointing things out. I've tried several of your projects, and I love them. I look forward to trying many more. Thank you!
2022 had lots of videos for granny square vests and sweaters. Since I don't have lots of remnants, I passed up those patterns. Using the self stripping yarn and starting the center with a different color would somewhat solve that problem. The puff stitch gives a whole new look to the granny square and I love it. Excellent instructional video. I'll be subscribing
So neat and cool I could use them for pants blankets cardigans slippers and sweaters and fingerless gloves mittens hats beenies and more, very clever and and a beautiful stitch
I just discovered your channel. I love it. I subbed. You are an excellent teacher, because you are clear and concise and eqsy to follow. I'm 64 and I have been crocheting since 16. This is the 1st puff stitch granny I've seen. This will be a great stutch for a granny square sweater. Thank you
this is so lovely ! i also always love how you use colorful yarns for your tutorials :) i think it makes it a little more fun and exciting to work in a rainbow
Thank you for all the square tutorials right now. I love this latest one. I am into making bags with my squares and I think this puff stitch will look really cool too.
@Hooked by Robin 11 done already! This was a perfect pattern for mindlessly (because it is simple for me) crocheting at 4 am. and dealy with insomnia. Also, I love how the next rows stagger on top of each other. One of my pet peeves with squares is the chains sitting on top of each other, creating a "texture." I hope that makes sense.
Love this pattern and hope to learn it soon. I love your videos and you are so good at explaining everything! Thank you so very much. Thank you Ellie Hall
Oo Robin those are beautiful I love puff stitches I will give these squares a go , I’m still doing my half hexies( as we speak ) for my vintage blanket but this will be added to my ever growing list of Robin goodies to make thank you and happy new year 🥳amanda xx💖💕
I’m in love with this granny square. It’s become my new favorite. I know you have a video up about no sew techniques to join granny squares but do you happen to have one for joining these squares together?
I've never seen this before; I love it. PLEASE @HookedByRobin could you show me how to put a simple DC border around squares like this? Thank you so much for your excellent tutorials; they are so easy to follow and make the patterns seem so very simple to do. 💐💖✨
Thanks so much for the tip on the hook size Robin. I don't like to use the puff stitch because my project usually looks like it's already been worn after I finish it. The larger hook size should help that
