So in Belles song she talks about how everyday in the town has been the same since they moved there. The theory is since the enchantress cast her spell, time has stood still and the townspeople are repeating that day before she cursed the prince and castle. That’s why the man couldn’t remember what he lost, it was his wife and son who were still their same age. Also Belle is almost walking through the crowd in a daze like she knows where the people will be already, and the lack of new books in the library.
Belle refused to fit into the 'normal way of life' in that town, which is why she stood out and everyone watched her. They thought she was a trouble maker.
No it's not that they thought she was a trouble maker. They just thought that she was weird/odd because she loved to read books instead of fawning over boys like most girls would and that she was really smart instead of an airhead. Just bcuz she didn't act like everyone else in the town.
I love the new song that the beast sings, “Evermore”. I just think his vocals were awesome in it and Emma Watson also slayed the vocals! Love the reaction Billy! ❤
I loved what they did with LeFou. I loved how intelligent they made him and I get the stupid “first gay character” debacle, but as a fleshed out character, he was amazing and liked his arc. I liked how he feels peer pressures by Gaston, but feels guilty for leaving Maurice out there. I liked how they changed the lyrics in the Mob Song “There’s a beast running around, no question. I fear the wrong one has been released” gets me every time. It is always amazing that he was the one person in the town (aside from bell and Maurice and the book store clerk) that realizes Gaston is evil and needs to be stopped. It also hits hard knowing that this was Gaston’s “best friend”. As a fleshed out character, Le Fou is great. Last change. I loved how Gaston actually tried going with Maurice to the castle. Not for very long, of course, but it added some depth to Gaston that the original did not have. I also felt he was a bit smarter than the original which made him even more dangerous.
Exactly Josh Gad was Perfect! they Should've had Josh Gad reprise the Role For the Beauty and the Beast 30th anniversary Special to present the LeFou we all Know and love from the 2017 Movie.
Yeah they really gave him some depth! He was the only town person that saw Gaston for the evil he really was which is why he saved miss Potts in my opinion and switched sides there at the end. He knew Gaston sad to be stopped before someone actually got killed from his antics.
@@kiratheusagiisworkshop5266 Im glad you agree. I have a Video discussing LeFou's Character between the 1991 and 2017 movies. Everyone is free to check it out. Link in description: th-cam.com/video/Pf93_ZR7AjM/w-d-xo.html
A) yes that's her from Harry Potter 🤣 B) yes that's really her singing C) Heather Olive and Gustavo back again for another wacky adventure! D) Heather/Belle is 32, she was about 26yo when she filmed this & 17 when it debuted in theatres. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭✌🏾 love these reactions, Billy!
Yes that’s really her singing. She went through months of voice training specifically for this role. There’s controversy on how she sounds in this role, but for someone who isn’t really a singer, and coming from a trained vocalist, I think she did well!
The town was cursed as well, repeating the same day over and over. That why the starter song has lots of just like every day, nothings changes, and whatnot. It’s so the villagers would forget about the castle and the people there
You totally skipped over the growl, once Beast becomes human again and at their wedding, Belle asks him how he'd feel about growing a beard and he growls.
Emma Watson who played Belle in this movie also played Hermoine in Harry Potter. The songs, " Days in the Sun" and "How does a moment last forever" are new songs they included in this version
The enchantress was testing the prince/ beast that if he was unselfish and kind. Also, it's the same Disney movie but live-action and has different songs due to music producers.
I love how LeFou gets a potential happy ending in this one. People forget that the director for this movie Bill Condon, and the lyricist Howard Ashman for the first movie are both gay men and that Disney's Beauty and the Beast has ALWAYS been a queer film. They're just being a bit more explicit about it now because it's the 21st century. I mean think about it. This man hates himself and is ostracized by society, this girl is outcast for being herself, the difference being that she accepts herself. These two outcasts find each other, she teaches him how to love himself, and for that he loves her, and that makes him beautiful. Meanwhile all these villagers organize this witch hunt because this beast "does not belong." They cut out the line in this movie, which makes me sad: "We don't like what we don't understand in fact it scares us, and this monster is mysterious at least." That's how a lot of homophobes act with queer people. Gaston was meant to represent the homophobe who is able to rally everyone else to follow him (and is very likely gay himself and plays this part as a macho man to hide it). The only reason LeFou followed him was because he, as Gaston said, didn't want to be next.
One of the reasons it makes sense that the Beast might not have learned his lesson from the beginning is because in the original story he was basically a child when the enchantress came. So it was less ego and more immaturity that made him turn her away. And it made him less likely to learn his lesson because he was basically growing up and going through puberty without any guidence until he's 21 in the timeframe of this movie.
So fun fact about being a Prince/Lord of a Castle: one of your duties would be to provide basic food and shelter to lost and wandering people in your kingdom during an emergency situation. It didn't need to be fancy: water, bread, place out of the cold, but it was considered your duty. They would, in return, be dutiful citizens of your realm. So the Beast, by turning away the old woman, was not only judging by appearances, but was being a TERRIBLE ruler. Likewise, Belle's father accepting food and shelter was reasonable. BUT when Maurice/her father turned around and "stole" a rose, the Beast could then claim he broke the laws of hospitality, and was technically within his rights (though, a massive overreaction) to at the minimum throw him out or imprison him.
@@gooseweasel Year late Except the old woman had already BROKEN many laws of hospitality by: breaking into the prince's castle without permission nor introducing herself, crashing the party, scaring all the people, then having the audacity to ask shelter by offering a rose which she just STOLE from his garden. In actuality that is all the equivalent of TRESPASSING! The Prince was totally in the right to turn that old b#tch away, the way she acted was extremely RUDE! It does not make him a terrible ruler nor was it only judging by appereances. And considering it could have taken place where the plague started, all the more for turning her away and avoiding the risk of others being contaminated. Whatever the reason, she had already planned everything to screw him and everyone else.
@@Rachet87-yp7qq We don't know where she got the rose, since it's magical. Also, this is one of the many changes I dislike about the live action adaptation because of exactly your points. Animated Beast was in the wrong for hospitality. Here, the only thing he really does wrong is laugh at her, but even that could be written off as a deescalation technique. Also, and this is just me being pedantic about historical accuracies, they are not during the time of the plague, we're about 500 years after that, based on the fashion.
@@gooseweaselShe did steal the rose from the garden outside his castle its shown right at the opening. Also animated Prince was probably 11 when a creepy old woman showed up out of nowhere offering a strange gift in return to spend the night there. So regardless of being in the wrong or not for denying hospitality she was still a stranger and for all he knew she could have been a serial killer. And its shown live action or animated the witch purposely came there to pass judgement onto him
If you loved the new music in this one, you should totally check out the other songs that were made for but not featured in the movie, including the music videos for Celine Dion's version of "How Does A Moment Last Forever" and Ariana Grande & John Legend's rendition of "Beauty and the Beast" (it even looks like they're actually there!), as well as Josh Groban's version of "Evermore". They're all such good songs! 🥰
Revisionist history has many people hating on Emma doing the role but at the time so many people appreciated the movie and loved her as Belle and I still love her as Belle! Adore this movie
Hey Billy, I am so glad you watched this one! I like it so much more than the original animated even though I grew up on that one. That is Heather from Harry Potter and that is really her singing for real. She is a trained singer, actress, and dancer actually from the school she attended "as a little children" in France. Have a good Holiday Season and New Year!
Finally the live action Beauty and the Beast AND the return of Heather! When I first heard you call Hermione that in the Harry Potter commentary, I couldn’t stop laughing. What I love about these Disney live action films is their use of original songs so I fell in love with Evermore! Even though Emma Watson did sing for it, people said there was too much auto tune on her voice, but personally, I didn’t have a problem with it and enjoyed how she sounded. What’s next? Hopefully not The Lion King or Mulan. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say they were absolute trash and didn’t bring much nostalgia to the originals. Great reaction as always Billy!❤️
Emma Watson was 27 when this movie was released in theaters and Luke Evans was 38 when the movie was released in 2017. Emma Watson played Hermione Granger from Harry Potter as well as Belle from Beauty & the Beast. Luke Evans as Gaston in the 2017 adaptation of Beauty & the Beast did seem a bit miss cast but he did have funny lines with Josh Gad aka:Olaf. Also, does Billy Binges still take movie requests through his TH-cam channel or not🤔?
Agreed. I like Luke Evans, but he was miscast in this role. He was a bit too old for her and he didn't quite fit. The movie was still enjoyable as it was visually appealing and Emma was well cast as Belle.
I liked this video before I even watched it. A) one of my favorite movies B) Billy C) one of the best songs, "forevermore", in a musical. I watched this movie a few weeks after my sister passed away from ovarian cancer. I hadn't cried since her passing because I had to be there for my mom and siblings since I'm the eldest. Then that song made me sob because I realized that my sister wouldn't have a chance to love another like this. 🧡 She was 22.
I lost my sister to cancer too. She was only 20 and engaged Beauty and the beast is my favorite movie and watching remake made me love it even more. I will miss watching movies with her.
The song 🎵 How Does A Moment Last Forever 🎵 🎶 sung by Celine Dion in the credits does make me cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Especially when Emma Watson appearing as Belle in the credits when the song is playing.
Y'all I won't lie..when I first subscribed lord knows how long ago at this point, Billy messing up names was so annoying. Now it is low key one of my favorite parts of his videos lol
Hi Billy ! I am actually watching from France (born and raised there actually) 😆 I've been watching you for almost a year now, and your videos are now a part of my weekly routine. Your video really comforted me when I was feeling anxious, stressed and a little down (especially during the exam sessions). Not one of the movie reactors has reacted to it, and I think you'd like the humor in the show. Trust me.❤️💚💙 Ninja-go!✊️
Gustavo and Olive killed me I was laughing so hard I started to cry...I love it when you can't remember there names so you pick one that's close enough
24:40 I am so glad you love her voice. Many hate how they chose Emma Watson only because to them she doesn’t have a perfect voice which is preposterous
This movie has received a fare amount of hate (I think all the live actions do), but next to Cinderella, its my favorite live action adaptation. Just stunningly beautiful, and its so easy to disappear into this world and the characters!
I am going to say the hot take. While I love the original and always will, I think I love this one more because of the new additions and nuances that were added. I liked how Maurice wasn’t just “crazy old Maurice”. He was more level headed than the original. I also love his integrity and of course, it was Kevin Kline. I loved the new songs especially Ever More. That song gets stuck in my head every time I think about this film. I liked the relationship between Belle and the Beast better in this one. I liked how he was educated and was able to be more on Belle’s level. Also, that scene where she read on the bridge which described the icy lake to a T was romantic as heck. And if anyone ever asked, “will you read more?” to me, I would swoon. While people complained about the library scene, I liked it because it was more organic. It came from talking and connecting. The original was like that too, just different. What really won me over was the added conversation of them talking about how they were outcasts. It added that special nuance that was needed in the original. Agathe was a fantastic addition for me. While she was silent, she was not a passive observer. She observed and made sure she can still help people, even though she cursed them. What I liked about the ending was even though it was another “it was love that saved him”, it showed her mercy and empathy. She still believed in them and what she said. There was nothing wrong with second chances. This movie isn’t perfect, but there were so many changes that made it just as special as the original. At least, they tried something new.
Sorry but Enchantress/Agathe was just an unnecessary addition and in my opinion biggest mistake. She was even worse than original by cursing innocent people, separating them from their loved ones and giving death sentence yet never punishes all those horrible people out there. And then the end was a big slap in the original by having her undo the curse instead of Belle being the one to do it. It made the whole timeline pointless since she was willing to let everyone suffer anyway. Her actions made no sense and only made come across as a messed up psycopath
@ but isn’t that what happened in the original too, I am assuming. I do get your point, but not only was the Beast cursed, but the other employees as well. But we don’t know if they had families worried about them or not. I think the sorceress was going to look like that regardless. I kind of disagree about Belle not breaking the curse because the sorceress didn’t break the curse until she saw Belle say the words I love you. I think she became the literal manifestation of breaking it. I sometimes picture the sorceress above somewhere looking down on everything and bringing magic down there to bring everyone back, but that maybe just me. But do understand your point though. One issue with the remake and original is everyone being collateral damage when her issue was with just the Beast.
Now This Is one of the Best Disney Live Actions! My Favorite Thing out of all the Rest of the Whole Movie was Hands Down Josh Gad As LeFou!! He played a Well Developed, More Depth, More Charming, And A More 3 Dimensional Live Action Version Of LeFou that Starts off as Gaston's Trusty Admiring Sidekick Who one day wants to be as Famous as Gaston To becoming his Own Person when he realizes his True Monstrous Nature towards the end. While I thought Rizwan Manji was Pretty Good as LeFou in the Latest 30th Anniversary Special of the Original, I Still Think That No Body Can Play A Much More 3 Dimensional and Better Live Action Version of LeFou Than Josh Gad! 😁👍🏻❤💕 He's The Best!
I don’t usually comment, love all your videos. But THIS reaction was brilliant. Thanks for setting the tone for Christmas. Blessings to you and your family 🎉
I remember watching this in the theater, and I ended up crying because Emma Watson looked SO pretty, throughout this movie. I may or may not, most definitely was, on my monthly cycle annndddd.... yeah. 😂
I loved this movie, the songs are just magical. One detail I really missed having from the OG cartoon is Belle's big yellow dress. Which is iconic to the character. It was Emma's decision to don't be having the weight of such a big dress and the need for a corset. but it definitely would have made it better.
Watching from New Yorkl Yes that is Emma Watson who played Hermione (aka "Heather" in Harry Potter) I believe the reason people focus so much on Belle is because she is the opposite of everything this town stands for. During this time period the story takes place in, women were basically the house wife. Cooking, cleaning, taking care of kids, etc. Belle didn't stand for it. She learned to read, was good at helping her dad fix stuff, she was inventive. She wanted more then what the town offered and for that they didn't like her. Hence the line "I want so much more then they've got planned"
Best out of the live action Disney remakes. So many people hate on this and like Cinderella, and I found it stilted with awkward performances from anyone who wasn't Lily or Cate. This one has solid performances all through.
27:51 I simply love the emotion 💛 This is my favourite Disney's live action, and your reactions are always gorgeus Billy so thank U for making my day. The biggest hug from Spain #Bingers hoping to see you reacting to "CRUELLA" soon
The song 🎵 How Does A Moment Last Forever 🎵 sung by Celine Dion in the credits does make cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Especially when Emma Watson appearing as Belle.
This is one of my favourite live action Disney movies. Twice I went to see this in cinema. Belle is one of my favourite Disney princess. I love Emma Watson. "He too old to play Gustavo." That was funny. Also, the actor who played the Beast is handsome. Love your reactions, Billy.
The half live action/animated 30th Anniversary Celebration is on Disney+. HER is Belle in that version, and it's my favorite of the three versions, especially the performance of "Evermore." Edit: said favorite. It's my second favorite only because I'll forever love the singing of the original Mrs. Potts for "Beauty and the Beast."
I'm one of the few people in the world who PREFER the live-action remakes (Maleficent, Cinderella, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast), and glad to see a positive reception to this.
Only bad thing for me with this movie are Belles outfits. They could have made them much more suitable for the era like all the other clothes are but they chose to make very plain and simple dresses for her to wear. And the fact that she is not wearing any stays underneath (because the actress did not want to) makes her silhouette wrong for a beautiful ball gown that she could have had. Otherwise the movie is good live action version. I loved the original, I love all the traditional Disney movies.
This has to be my favorite reaction yet: Yes billy that is Hermione (heather) and it's pronounced her-mi-nee 😂 and yes that is her really singing. It’s great to see you enjoying this movie! Like I said in the commentary for the animated one, I prefer this version. The original one was never one of my faves growing up and I really like the changes this one made and specially I love the cast. Questions: I’m watching from Argentina so yeah, you have a good reach haha! I love snacks in general, definitely prefer savory foods over sweet, and cold green tea for the summer is my fave.
Love that you reacted to this! Currently watching in Texas. I like drinking the HEB brand orange spice tea. Now the whole Beast manipulating Belle you were talking about when he got hurt during the wolf attack, basically how Stockholm Syndrome works, abuse/torture, manipulate by being nice or pitiful, and repeat. Belle stays and takes care of his wounds because she had a promise to keep. Now if I was presented with a beautiful and giant library of my own, let's just say I would love that person forever and never come out. And yes Emma Watson actually sings, my mind was blown when I 1st heard her voice watching the behind the scenes!
Such a good reaction! ❤ love watching your videos, especially the hype you get for soulful songs😂 #bingers Moulin Rouge is a good movie for songs and the lead in that movie is the guy who plays Lumiere (the candlestick) in this.
Gaston is the local war hero, and also probably rich, that's why he's allowed to go so far. The townspeople fixating on Belle being "different" is accurate for the time and setting.. the masses were judgemental af at the time of all the wrong things, like being a woman who reads a lot and is independent and clever. LeFou was perfection in this movie. So loyal to the man he served beside in the army who no doubt saved his life, but slowly coming to the realization that Gaston was far more ruthless and evil than he ever believed possible. Catching Mrs Potts was the ultimate redemption and the very brief glimpse of giving the redeemed henchman an HEA was beautiful.
I love the story Beauty and the beast, I’ve seen many, many versions but the Disney animated version is still my favorite. I did like this version a lot too. I liked the new additional songs (especially the Beast’s song Evermore) and the costumes and settings were amazing. Btw if you were wondering Belles age, in the story Disney said she was like 19-20. In fact she was the 1st Disney princess in a movie to be older than 16. I’m so glad you did this reaction, loved your response to Evermore.
I'm still mad at Evermore cuz they should have used If I Can't Love Her from the stage musical and that song gives me insane chills. Definitely look it up/listen to that one. If I Can't Love Her and Home should have been in this - I love both. I definitely cried of nostalgia seeing this in theaters lol it is stunning and I loved Emma Watson as Belle. She looked gorgeous in everything. And I loved getting Ian McKellan (Gandalf) as Cogsworth and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts (Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter) and freaking Obi Wan Kenobi as Lumiere even though we only saw the actor's faces at the end. The casting was chef's kiss for me and the CGI was beautiful.
Hey Billy! Love your reactions!❤️ Been subscribed for awhile, I just don’t usually comment. I love the live action version of this, and the added songs are great! Also love your color coordinated outfits, yellow looks good on you😉
Here's the cool thing: if you look into the historical context of this story, it actually explains almost everything. Example: she's the quirky girl that doesn't fit in because she wasn't born there. She still remembers Paris. Which they sort of touched on in here
@@karstynmcdanielYa but that’s not really her fault, she has a really innocent sounding voice but it’s not developed enough. I wonder why they just didn’t choose someone else to sing for her? It would have been much better. I really loved her acting though.
The dress was not good at all. Not only was the design atrocious but Emma Watson didn’t want to wear a corset. It would’ve gave the dress some shape had that been included
Grace Randolph (the TV/movie critic behind Beyond the Trailer) said that Emma Watson really became a live-action Disney Princess in this. (And BTW, she was 27 when she made this. Yes, Dan Stevens (Beast/Prince) is about 8 years older; Luke Evans is 11 years older.) Kevin Klein as Maurice the father is easily the best addition to this version. The animated Maurice was a truly two-dimensional character. Tea? None of that bitter Earl Grey stuff for me. I drink Lapsang Souchong, the smoked tea. You can make it so strong that you have to poke a hole in it to pour the milk in, but it doesn’t get bitter. Plumette is Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and yes, she’s smoking. You should get around to watching the Disney+ MCU series; she’s really good in “Loki.”

The enchantress was testing the prince/ beast that if he was unselfish and kind.
Also, it's the same Disney movie but live-action and has different songs due to music producers.
Still she broke into his castle yet feels insulted when the prince is justifiably pissed then curses everyone as well. She was a freaking psycopath.
I love how LeFou gets a potential happy ending in this one.

27:49 Billy simping on Beast while he was singing was amazing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@gooseweasel Year late
Except the old woman had already BROKEN many laws of hospitality by: breaking into the prince's castle without permission nor introducing herself, crashing the party, scaring all the people, then having the audacity to ask shelter by offering a rose which she just STOLE from his garden.
And its shown live action or animated the witch purposely came there to pass judgement onto him
You have the BEST reaction videos! 🤣 You are honest and HILARIOUS 🤣 This is my favorite Disney story 📖 So many good lessons and beautiful songs 🎶
Amanda I appreciate you a lot. You are an OG viewer and don’t think for a second I forget that ❤️ thank you for rocking with me ALL these YEARS!!
seriously i admire his honesty and strong mind...i mean not afraid to share his pov
@@BillyBinges ur a good guy billy
I like Beauty and The Beast.
Now I need to see a collaboration with you and the Cinema Therapy guys. All 3 of you would be hilarious!
I second this!!!!
I wanna see this!
Yo! That would be crazy.
YESSSS the josh groban version of evermore is top tier *chef’s kiss*
Revisionist history has many people hating on Emma doing the role but at the time so many people appreciated the movie and loved her as Belle and I still love her as Belle! Adore this movie
The changes worked for Belle. I adore this movie. Beauty and beast has always been my favorite along side Mulan.
Thank you for appreciating the beauty that is Evermore, soooooo iconic
I feel like both versions of Beauty and the Beast . With the live action, you got an idea of how the curse works and how Belle's mother died.
I agree especially cause how they ruined one of the best villain songs
yes!! the live action lion king was terrible compared to the original
@Devin Rosa if you're talking about be prepared you're right. The original one is better
@@jacobmichard1229 that’s exactly the one
Mulan was trash. I was so looking forward to Ill Make A Man Out of You but they left out all the songs.
Evermore, the beasts song, is my favourite new addition.
The other new songs were “days in the sun” and “how can a moment last forever”
Billy is already calling women "chickenheads" and calling Emma Watson "Heather" 😆🤣
Also, does Billy Binges still take movie requests through his TH-cam channel or not🤔?
he does
Agreed. I like Luke Evans, but he was miscast in this role. He was a bit too old for her and he didn't quite fit. The movie was still enjoyable as it was visually appealing and Emma was well cast as Belle.
I liked this video before I even watched it.
A) one of my favorite movies
B) Billy
C) one of the best songs, "forevermore", in a musical.
I watched this movie a few weeks after my sister passed away from ovarian cancer. I hadn't cried since her passing because I had to be there for my mom and siblings since I'm the eldest. Then that song made me sob because I realized that my sister wouldn't have a chance to love another like this. 🧡
She was 22.
I lost my sister to cancer too. She was only 20 and engaged Beauty and the beast is my favorite movie and watching remake made me love it even more. I will miss watching movies with her.
May her soul Rest In Peace
@@brookec.1039 I'm sorry for your loss. 🧡
@@chisomonyedum118 thank you. 🧡
Sorry for your loss may she rest in peace
Ok but the Josh Groban version of “Evermore” is AMAZING! 🤯🔥
AGREED ❤
The song 🎵 How Does A Moment Last Forever 🎵 🎶 sung by Celine Dion in the credits does make me cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Especially when Emma Watson appearing as Belle in the credits when the song is playing.
The way you enjoyed Evermore is worth the whole watch
Y'all I won't lie..when I first subscribed lord knows how long ago at this point, Billy messing up names was so annoying. Now it is low key one of my favorite parts of his videos lol
Hi Billy ! I am actually watching from France (born and raised there actually) 😆 I've been watching you for almost a year now, and your videos are now a part of my weekly routine. Your video really comforted me when I was feeling anxious, stressed and a little down (especially during the exam sessions). You really are a ray of sunshine, so thank you for your smile, and reminding me of drinking water 😂 !
Je t'envoie plein d'amour ! Que Dieu te bénisse toi et ta famille en cette fin d'année et durant l'année 2023 ! ❤
Omg I've always wanted to see France I bet it's magical
I'm glad you're watching this one next, Billy! Have any other live action Disney movies in mind for your next reaction?😊
Oh, also, please react to Lego Ninjago Masters of Spinjitsu. Not one of the movie reactors has reacted to it, and I think you'd like the humor in the show. Trust me.❤️💚💙
Ninja-go!✊️
Nah the way Billy repeatedly butchers every name in a movie is crazyy 😅🤣🤣
I completely agree with you
Gustavo and Olive killed me I was laughing so hard I started to cry...I love it when you can't remember there names so you pick one that's close enough
24:40 I am so glad you love her voice. Many hate how they chose Emma Watson only because to them she doesn’t have a perfect voice which is preposterous
Hermione - Heather from Harry Potter
Gaston - Gustavo
Olaf - Olive
Wow Billy's really good with names!!
🤣😭😭
This movie has received a fare amount of hate (I think all the live actions do), but next to Cinderella, its my favorite live action adaptation. Just stunningly beautiful, and its so easy to disappear into this world and the characters!
I adore Evermore too. It's chilling and beautiful
Billy calling Gaston Gustavo is sending me.
Ah, yes. The return of my favourite characters Heather and Olive.
This is best live action Disney movie. It does stay true to the original but also expands little bit
Billy is about to do a whole marathon of live action Disney spin-offs
Heather is Emma Watson who played Hermione Granger in Harry Potter she also Plays Sam in Perks of being a Wallflower.
I don’t usually comment, love all your videos. But THIS reaction was brilliant. Thanks for setting the tone for Christmas. Blessings to you and your family 🎉
Not me expecting lionardo da caprio under the beasts mask saying “hello..my princess..th-thank you for saving me”💀
I liked my own comment..SO?!?!?!?
This movie was beautiful from a visual standpoint.
Awe yes , Heather from Harry Potter and Olive from Frozen -- I remember them !!
Hey Billie, I am from France and I really enjoy your videos, I find you funny and entertaining. Thank you for your reactions to these amazing movies !
PLEASE come back to Highrise Billy! The community needs amazing TH-camrs like you 🥺🥺
I remember watching this in the theater, and I ended up crying because Emma Watson looked SO pretty, throughout this movie. I may or may not, most definitely was, on my monthly cycle annndddd.... yeah. 😂
I still can't believe that Emma played Hermione in Harry Potter and she also played belle and its just perfect
I just love the irony here:
In the film Lefou is gay and Gaston is straight, and in reality, Josh Gad is straight and Luke Evans is gay.
And Both actors Luke and Josh Play off each other Perfectly making them one of the Highlights of the film 💕
I loved this movie, the songs are just magical. One detail I really missed having from the OG cartoon is Belle's big yellow dress. Which is iconic to the character. It was Emma's decision to don't be having the weight of such a big dress and the need for a corset. but it definitely would have made it better.
Naming Gaston “Gustavo” is wild but close enough honestly so that’s progress🤷🏾♀️
Billy looking at anywhere but the screen when kissing happens is a mood 😂
Best out of the live action Disney remakes. So many people hate on this and like Cinderella, and I found it stilted with awkward performances from anyone who wasn't Lily or Cate. This one has solid performances all through.
She did amazing job playing actor as Belle
I was just waiting for that "IS THAT HEATHER" and you didn't disappoint.
27:51 I simply love the emotion 💛
This is my favourite Disney's live action, and your reactions are always gorgeus Billy so thank U for making my day.
The biggest hug from Spain
#Bingers hoping to see you reacting to "CRUELLA" soon
I was expecting the "Is that Heather ?" Billy never disappoints.
I love this version! Glad you seemed to like it billy ☺️☺️
The song 🎵 How Does A Moment Last Forever 🎵 sung by Celine Dion in the credits does make cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Especially when Emma Watson appearing as Belle.
I love the fact that he kept calling Hermione Heather and Gaston Gustavo 🤣🤣
That's there name's now
“Evermore” is one of the best songs Disney has ever given us!!!
Same here I saw this film twice in the cinemas back in 2017.
Just the “Heather?! Get your behind on that horse and go home”. Classic.
The half live action/animated 30th Anniversary Celebration is on Disney+. HER is Belle in that version, and it's my favorite of the three versions, especially the performance of "Evermore."
Edit: said favorite. It's my second favorite only because I'll forever love the singing of the original Mrs. Potts for "Beauty and the Beast."
This!!!
Oh I agree plus fun fact Josh Groban also did evermore for this film
LIVING FOR THE CINEMA THERAPY REC! Love those guys
I'm one of the few people in the world who PREFER the live-action remakes (Maleficent, Cinderella, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast), and glad to see a positive reception to this.
Disney keeps throwing the word “fool” around like it’s the insult of their 100 years Disney century 😂
I love how Gaston went from Gustavo to Gustavio 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This has to be my favorite reaction yet:
Yes billy that is Hermione (heather) and it's pronounced her-mi-nee 😂 and yes that is her really singing.
Also yes that is Olaf (olive) pronounced o-loaf 😂.
we love the name Gustavo.
Belle is 17.

I've always wanted a beauty and the beast library and the dresses
Such a good reaction! ❤ love watching your videos, especially the hype you get for soulful songs😂 #bingers Moulin Rouge is a good movie for songs and the lead in that movie is the guy who plays Lumiere (the candlestick) in this.
I second Moulin Rouge! #bingers 💖

Can we all appreciate Audra McDonald singing “Beauty and the Beast”? ❤
Emma Thompson who plays mrs potts sings that too

Here's the cool thing: if you look into the historical context of this story, it actually explains almost everything.
Example: she's the quirky girl that doesn't fit in because she wasn't born there. She still remembers Paris. Which they sort of touched on in here
My second favorite live action princess remake after Cinderella
Emma watson can’t sing tho sadly
@@karstynmcdanielYa but that’s not really her fault, she has a really innocent sounding voice but it’s not developed enough. I wonder why they just didn’t choose someone else to sing for her? It would have been much better. I really loved her acting though.
I’m still mad that the ball gown was a let down to this day. 😤
The dress was not good at all. Not only was the design atrocious but Emma Watson didn’t want to wear a corset. It would’ve gave the dress some shape had that been included
@Alexyss Powell they should've called me i would've rocked that dress and had curly long hair with a bow
Great reaction! But the whole time I'm thinking "I need that shirt!" 😩🤩
#bingers Billy you need to watch Kubo and the two strings the animation is similar to Coraline and Paranorman and the plot is amazing 🥰
I don't give a damn what people say about this movie, it's iconic especially with the little added gems they added haha.
Billy saying "Heather from Harry Potter," like thats really her name 😭😂😭😂😭😂
Grace Randolph (the TV/movie critic behind Beyond the Trailer) said that Emma Watson really became a live-action Disney Princess in this. (And BTW, she was 27 when she made this. Yes, Dan Stevens (Beast/Prince) is about 8 years older; Luke Evans is 11 years older.)
Kevin Klein as Maurice the father is easily the best addition to this version.
