It depends on where you shop. If you go to Nestor's the prices are better than Carrefour. I lived there three years so went to various grocery stores and spice shops. It's better if you buy spices at the spice shop unless there is a sale on spices inside the grocery store.

Comparing my grocery bill in Canada vs KSA. My grocery expsnse would be cheaper in Saudi Arabia. Canada has so many ridiculous taxes on food. Like the useless carbon tax to help save the planet and stop climate change. This tax is implemented on sales goods, farmers fuel, farmers products per pound transportation and EVERYTHING. So literally the food you eat has been taxed 5 times before hitting the shelf. So a load of bread (Cheapest no name brand is $3). I am hoping to move back to KSA in the next 5 years. I've lived in Canada my whole life, and under the current inflation, and federal government. It's literally a bankrupt country with ZERO future potential of growth or stability for it's citizens.

The crown prince revealed an ambitious program of social and economic reform entitled "Vision 2030" and pledged to diversify the economy by offering part of the state-owned oil company Aramco to the public and encouraging new companies to reduce dependence on oil exports.

Tap water is okay in Saudi Arabia, it is healthy usually the taste might not be as a bottled water that's why some people are using water filter to make it taste like bottled water.

The crown prince seeks to improve his country, both internally and externally, to replace an old tradition of slow social and economic change and quiet diplomacy, with a series of reform plans and firm foreign policies, which have stirred conflicting feelings at home and abroad.

I swear, my comment where I said “she’s not cute” is a glitch/bug, it isn’t supposed to be on your video. I had your video on the background when i was watching another video, I thought I commented on the video I was watching. I’m extremely sorry, please understand me, this is a bug, I thought i commented on another video, supposedly (the one i was actually watching)

Because when we think of Saudi Arabia, we think of date palms, sand dunes, and oil fields! That's one of the reasons we love to travel... to learn so much more about different countries and traditions.

The bread you showed here is quite expensive, typically we have 6 pieces for 1 riyal.
The bread looks very good though, European standard perhaps, that’s why.
Sadly bread is not very good in Saudi.

I suppose it's priced and aimed at the high end of the market. Many things in these supermarkets are. 👍
