My academic planners took me some time to get used to using them. I would lie and make certain projects due a week ahead. (I would finish it the day it was due.)
I started designing my planners from scratch with a spiral notebook. My problem is I alway am tinkering with my system. I know it’s basically procrastinating but feel I can’t give up this or that aspect of it.
Thank you for bringing me down to earth! After buying two planners that I already *DON'T* need, I was considering getting a third, just in case, it turned out to be my "third time lucky-that-will-solve-all-my-problems-magic-super-planner" ... 🙄

Your video randomly showed up and I am so glad it did. You really hit the nail on the head. I have every intention of using the planners I have. I've been making new planners all the time, for more than 3 years & 3 months now. as a result, i couldn't study properly & i ended up dropping out of college. i'm intending to learn a skill online so i can make some money, & what scares me is that i made a new planner for that, literally just yesterday. which shows that this nightmare i put myself in 3 years ago, is still going on.
I stopped using my planner August 28th. 😂 I feel like when I don't use one I just won't quit doing random things until I'm beyond exhausted but when I use a planner I'm forced to stop and balance myself.
No no no, you see, it IS the planner's fault that I don't use it... just like it's been my 17 jobs' fault that I don't stay and my five colleges' fault that I didn't graduate.

If I'm using it it's not wasted. By my calculation i save more money with planing than the planner actually costs.

That's why I stopped bullet journaling by hand. I miss having a physical notebook, but I'm so much more organized now with my digital system.

I'm so sorry you had to drop out of college. At what point in the Planning -> Taking Action chain of events did you struggle the most?
