    I'm a burnt out teacher & a mom of a 2 year old. I started mindfully changing my habits last 6 months only after i became a parent. I started reading books, doing bible meditation and journalling to fill my cup. My toddler shows interest in reading & writing as well now. Thank you inspiring me to keep a journal.

    I have ADHD, which means that I start journaling in notebooks and / or planners, but never really follow through to get to the end of the book / journal, I always lose interest along the way because I just become overwhelmed or if I miss a day, I always found it hard to get back to it, so I end up just not getting back to journaling. I know that journaling is good for my ADHD brain, so I really would love to try out the 5 part journal method because it seems to be simpler and less pressure to keep up with the practice of journaling.

      I totally understand where you are coming from as I recently this year relies I am ADHD(which explains alot of my way of 60 years of life). I use to enjoy journaling, nothing fancy just my thoughts on paper & organized plans and habits. I lost my dad this Jan & my daily habits have flown out the window. Liz popped up in my YT selection & I believe God driven because I had not typed anything about journaling. I like her approach & believe if I start journaling my thoughts & what I want to achieve in next 3 months(small steps) I will get back to where I was or God will show me new ways he wants me to go. Now where did I put my last journal & binders to refresh my mind & start her way😅. You got this just remember first & last thing of day. Setting timers on my phone helps me.

      I put a reminder on my phone to use my journal. Some days will be chaotic and I forget to use. I just keep trying.

    I wanted to start journaling last year, so I watched many videos. I bought a few notepad types and I found this so limiting, in fact I stopped using it. But I still wanted to journal. So after thinking about it, I identified what I found difficult with the notepads/books and found a solution. Early this year I bought a BINDER! I also chose A5 size as it was handier. It is so much easier, I can add pages easily, I don't have BLANK day pages (no longer feel guilty)! Today, I found your site... YES! This is fantastic. Thank you so much. I have subscribed.

    I journal because it's in my soul. I started when I was about 13. My journaling has changed, style wise, many times over the years. Watching videos, like yours helps keep me motivated to continue to explore myself and who I was or who I want to be.

    I’ve been an on and off journaler and planner for decades, and am just in the last 5 weeks starting to get the hang of planning effectively thanks to Megan Sumrell’s content. But she specifically separates journaling from planning, and I love the journaling system you’ve created. I’m thinking systems are the key in both areas.     This is the most effective way I have seen to journal. I will start journaling then become distracted or not find it worth the time. I love how this one has a spot for goals, a prompt, habits, and it’s not attached to a planner. Love it, thank you!

    I started journaling when I was 11 after being in the hospital for almost a month. I think that was the first time I really touched a part of my soul. Coming home to myself. This homecoming journey has continued since, working forward into ever more depths, elaboration and essence.
    I was very broken my whole life. I wrote my way into health - mentally, spiritually and physically. Through journaling, reading, searching outside and inside I have shed multiple skins: I lost 10 kg in the last years and kept them off, I eat healthy, I mellowed down my character, have developed a deep spititual life, nourishing my relationship to god daily. Beginning of October I am turning 42 and I am looking forward to opening a Letter, that my 36-old Self wrote to my 42-old Self. I will read it with warmth and gratefulness in my heart looking back to a 'moving box' sized carton full of diaries - books of my life ...
    I would love to hold in my hands your wonderful templates of 'life threads' to explore what more is possible in my life ❤. I feel they are made with love and they would mean a lot to me. How precious!

    The flexibiliity and customization is fantastic. With the 3 rings, you can add/delete pages in each section AND it helps as a planner for your day too. Your philosophy of taking off the pressure if you skip a day makes using the system much more enjoyable.

    I have always journaled. Journaling keeps me grounded and when I look back on the entries I have written I am encouraged. I can spot areas where I need to work on myself or revisit things or people I should close any open doors that leave unanswered questions. Your system is straight to the point and I took like the idea of top loading the paper. I have had a hard time purchasing paper that is top loading and when I find it the price goes up and up as most things do. Even if I am not a winner I am willing to pay for your system because you have taken the time to already do the hard part.     I use different Journaling Systems Since 12 Years.
    I have 3 kids, own an onlineshop, have 2 employees und my husband is at Home on weekends. I really really have to Plan EVERYTHING, because i need a safe and secure plan in my head. What to eat whole week, appointments for the kids and me, birthdays, finances, vacation etc…

    I've gone back and forth between using a bullet journal for years, but I never thought to do it with a binder. What I'm liking about this binder approach is the ability to add pages, therefore I don't have blank pages or if I want to redesign a layout I don't have an unused section.     I love this, I'd love to incorporate journaling into my days, I've tried and failed soooo many times for all the reasons you've highlighted.     I want more than long-form journaling; I want an intentional way to isolate, collect, and integrate insights from my life so I can retrieve them. Your system makes this intuitive and easy.     I've started journaling in grade school with writing daily diary entries. I've adopted and tried many different journaling methods as I grew into adulthood to help with my personal growth and keep focused on my goals. I have yet to find what I feel as a good medium between a simple and structured/organized visually pleasingly. So, I'm loving your binder idea since I can always add entries to it and I can always remove what I find not useful (I adore how your binder cover looks like common journal covers!). And your layouts look very close to what I'm looking for. They're relatable to my personal journey, and simple to use. I really look forward to trying out your journal!     🌈I started journaling maybe in 2018 and bullet journaling too. It helps me be more focus, keep track of important moments, and be able to look behind, remember some precious moments, save times and calm my mental🌈
    For theses I have one book for journaling, one book for schedule and one for my bullet journal where I keep track of my plans, projects, ideas and keep track of my budget, it's simple it's not beautiful, sometimes messy , sometimes I want to make it more visualy enjoyable sometimes I just outline important thing and marked or on an index to find them more easily.     I started journaling consistently through notebooks back in 2019, but all my life I have tried to capture my life’s moments and experiences (via photos, notes app, lists). Especially with ADHD, I yearn to remember things by externalizing my brain, but I often forget to keep up with systems that are too overwhelming or lack engagement.     I started journaling again at the start of the summer and have a dated planner for work and life. And a notebook that i use for daily free jounaling (no prompts, no set agenda, no boxes/grids etc). I am free to write pages or just one sentence each day.

    I started journaling a year ago after watching a video speaking of the benefits of journaling and a morning habit of writing 3 pages. The habit has stuck, and I often find that I journal more than 3 pages and I can see a difference in my overall mood and thought process. I have watched your videos, and I relate to your system, with the ability to add and remove pages as needed along with the clean and fresh look.     I am 59, ADHD, and have experienced significant losses that have led me to serious long-term clinical depression. I withdrew from living and couldn't see the point in continuing. I am on the other side now and slowly pulling myself out, deciding what I want to do with the rest of my life. I have journaled on and off over the years but more like a diary format. I am learning about bullet journaling and by chance happened upon a video you made about handwriting. That led me to your journaling videos and am very intrigued by how methodical and strategic your methods are.     I started journaling about a year ago. it helps with my overall metal health. i had this minor depression and anxiety after my breakup. i had trouble sleeping and have this random panic attack. so i started journaling. at 1st, i did it on an A5 notebook then i move on to digital journaling on my ipad. previously i tend to look for a ways to organize my daily feeling and mental growth. and now i stumble upon this video. i think i can have a try.

    Your system addresses the problems that I have been having with consistency and organization. I have a pocket notebook that goes with me everywhere which is great for capturing information, but it’s scattered and disorganized.     Hi - I journal to be aware of what I am doing with my time, to help my inner voices quiet down and to be conscious of what I want and how I feel - I work a full time high stress job, marriage, a teenager and a troubled young adult child. I live far away from family and my few friends live far away - a few years ago I realized I was living my life on auto-pilot and was just letting time pass, making no progress or even having an awareness of what I want out of life. I felt very alone and realized I need to be my own friend, my own cheerleader and that I needed to explore emotions, make goals, become aware of what I do with my time.

    I started to do the journaling because it gives an opportunity to reflect on ourself and and also not to get lost in the day to day chores. However, what I struggle is on effective methods on journaling such as
    1. Online or offline
    2. What is the best time to journal in a day
    3. Size of paper
    4. Stationary selection
    5. What all to journal
    6. How to keep it private
    And many more.

    Wow what n awesome system. I’m semi retired and feel heaps of pressure filling in traditional journals. This is really customisable for me too! I like to journal to reflect and this will make it so much easier. Great system 🥰🥰🥰

    Thank you for this video! As a recently retired teacher of 32 years, I'm excited to see how this journaling method will impact the next phrase of my life.
    I use to teach cursive writing and journaling together as each activity complements the other. I remember sharing my students' joy as they would beam with pride when they were able to write names in cursive! I recall 12:09 one student exclaimed, "Now I can sign a hundred dollar check!!!". He was eight! 😊😊😊

    Being a mother of five princesses is really not easy task.
    I really need effective tools to keep my works on track , stay productive, as well as mantain a clear mind.
    Hopefully this 5-part journalling system will help me grow to become a better mother for my daughters and become the best version of me .

    You have combined a number of the things I personally do to make my own journals more comfortable: date-stamping (mine ends at the end of 2024!), landscape layouts, and incorporating God and prayer into the complete landscape of my life. I love what you have done! I journal because writing things down is my act of faith that God hears me, sees me, and is working things together for my ultimate good…even if the moment doesn’t feel that way.     I have journaled on and off for many years and have been searching for a system, a way, that fits me and my life. I have created future visioning processes using graphic templates and love my yearly practice. I have 30 years experience social work and hold a LSW license. I have retired and have time to spend on myself. My worked mostly in th area if employment and training.     I am an inconsistent journaler. Different seasons in life like becoming a mother, changing jobs, getting caught up in perfectionism have lead to avoiding it. I journal because when I do I love the clarity of journaling and being able to look back on my memories. Last year and this year I am finally able to be consistent with reflection and goal planning. I would like to add a memory keeping / though component to it. Love your system btw.

    I started journaling for my mental health, as it really helps me to release tension and anxiety. I also want to have a record of my days, special memories and personal growth.     I have started to journaling in 2022. I can say journaling helps me a lot to learn about myself. I can observe what needs to be emptied from my mind and how it is changing daily.     I journal because I need to get things out of my head. It helps me remember things, think more clearly, and organize my ideas. The ritual of journaling is almost meditative, and I love the tactile feeling of writing too.
