FYI Yamata no Orochi(!) is a 8-headed serpent from japanese mythology, who was slain by the wind and sea god Susano'o, which was the origin of swordfighting according to legend
What's funny is that Kaido and Orochi share characteristics of the other person's mythology. Spoiler Yamata no Orochi was an invincible serpent that was easily drunk so Susano'o got him drunk on sake before fighting him. The carp going up the waterfall to become a dragon is an allegory for peasants who were able to rise up through society into the Imperial Court.
So that now OP is delayed for 6 months, I just wanna suggest you guys to watch Monsters or Death Note. Something a bit darker than usual typical animes (not horror and bloody though, no worries), but really really good if you like psychological stuff.
