3 admirals could still beat Kaido, he’s strongest in a 1 v 1 but that doesn’t mean he can beat all at once, especially if Akainu is there he would lose. Not to downplay his strength, he just can’t take the world alone as it’s not like the admirals and other powerhouses have or fight him 1v1. The admirals aren’t quite emperors level but with 2-3 vs 1 emperor they would absolutely win. Not even to mention that shanks, big mom, Blackbeard (+crew), etc would eventually step in, and can put on a real fight as well.
Probably Akainu could solo him, would make a lot of sense story wise as akainu is a boss built for way later in the story. Every other 2 admirals would also defeat him and in a 1v1 they would at least always be able to escape or not get defeated as kaidou is one of the most stupid and incompetent characteres and never finishes anyone

The anime definitely dragged it a lil bit in the manga luffy literally got blitz which in my opinion doesn’t show the gap but for some reason here it shows that liffy was doing everything even his strongest attack didn’t do nothing which makes no sense
Just to share something about Kaido. This guy straight up tried to intentionally fall from the sky to kill himself but failed. He's so tough that even he couldn't kill himself

During Kaido's intro when falling from the sky. It was stated that Kaido has been captured 18times. etc etc. So he's not invincible the Navy can beat him hence he needs a crew and army as well.

He and his crew really can't do that, despite how powerful they are. It's just that the other top tier people in the One Piece World haven't been portrayal with this level of intensity and presence. Remember, Fujitora was ready to fight Luffy, Law, Zoro and the entire Grand Fleet all by himself at the end of the Dressrosa arc. Unlike Luffy in this episode, any Admiral or Yonko could hold their own against Kaido, even if they lose it would be a good fight and it definitely wouldn't be a lost like Luffy.

Notice Luffy used pretty much every finisher he’s done since entering the new world and none of it hurt Kaido. They are showing the exponential difference between what the straw hats have seen to what they are facing now
I wouldnt say it but they just added more actions, flashes and shitty things with no sense: Kaido would never get all these hits for fun. It was a fast battle and one shot.
Kaido is a monster for sure. But it's not like he can take over the world alone. Even a monster can be taken down by other monsters. Remember the big war where Whitebeard died.
