This effect makes the sound faint yet sounds audible like the voice is coming from Far Away and the music beats even farther away.

I thought his experience at Baratier gave him the skills to move flexibly, but it makes sense to think that his education at Jelma was the foundation. I dread to think if Sanji were not a “failure”.
