Glad you enjoyed this one! VDGG were great both live and in the studio, but ofc Peter was adding much more tense in their live perfomances, as well as in his solo gigs.
Probably the best version of Arrow i ever heard live with the one in Trois-Rivières (wer i was) of course the cut version of Montreal is history because the piano blew off and Hammill start banging on the piano and screaming (listen to the bootlegs)
You,ve done a great work on the sound, wich, I agree, sounded unbalanced, with confusion for the muisic. For me the show sounded messy ... Now it sounds much more interesting and coherent. Thanks for your patience and time... And passion!!!
As others said, great job on the sound. But the pic ? Peter Hammill is certainly the heart of the band, but this is not a solo concert. Where are his mates ? Sorry, but i find it really disturbing and a bit disrespectfull for the others.
These were the only images I was able to find for that particular date. These were taken during the gig. Seems like photographer who was attending the concert didn't care much about anyone else, rather than PH himself for some reason.
The guitar "solo" in Meurglyss III is so typical Hammill, he does not even try to be some sort of rock guitar God. That's why I always call him the best worst guitarist there is.
Does that mean you didnt like the sounding of this one? You always can listen to the "The Charisma Years'' version though, but I believe that Jaxon saxes are a little bit more hearable at some points here. Anyway, thank you for your opinion!)

Nadir's last chance says it all I think. Saw live about 10 yrs ago, they didn't shy away and played Gog and Magog.
