  • Masters Champion and snooker lover, Danny Willett joins Stephen for a frame and a chat. The two play on the table Ronnie beat Graeme Dott on in the Worlds and discuss all things snooker and golf. Danny speaks about the wait he had to find out if he won the Masters, why he loves all professional sports and why he think his form dipped post Masters win. We hope you enjoy this one!

Love the Snooker Athlete and other athlete crossover episodes. I think these types of videos do more for the game than people realize, and seeing the perspective of top pros from other sports and how they relate to and contrast with snooker is always fun to watch.

Danny has always had such a good short game that it's odd that he hasn't won some more bigger tournies. Just shows important it is to smash it miles in the modern game and he is not exactly short off the tee. Really like his attitude and approach. When he has one of his streaky weeks and hits fairways, he is a handful for anyone. Gutted when he lost that one a while back to Homa on the last. Golf is a weird game at times.

Yeah, maybe you shouldn't bother practicing too hard right before matches. Have a few strikes on the practice table to get your arm going but I wonder just how much sheer confidence does...like, when you were winning everything, your confidence and focus were like "nobody can beat me", and so they rarely did. You clearly still have the ability to play brilliantly, so just own it...see what happens.

Danny Willett was well on his way to becoming a world class golfer, when he won the Masters. Some people would say it was handed to him. I love Stephen Hendry but he still hasn’t got the hang of asking questions and letting the guest speak without reverting back to his own career lol

Negative comments are from one anonymous Irish loser who sets up hundreds of fake profiles. Including fake girls profiles. He is a huge O'Sullivan fan. Stephen Hendry is the greatest player of all time 🐐
