Rick is his good luck charm!! get you on the bag? haha love Tommy, been my fav for years, so good to see him doing so well, and so humble! love the content as always Rick, class act
My finger prints are still in my easy chair. Tears of joy streamed down my cheeks as a Canadian seeing Nick Taylor win our National championship was really something. But in honesty a couple of those tears were in sadness for Tommy Fleetwood. What a first class human being. What a first class golfer. I'm sure part of him wanted to tell the world to go to hell when he lost that tournament but he didn't he embraced his golfing opponent and was grateful for Nick. That class act is truly what golf is about. What a champion!!! That too is what should be talked about in the game rather than Joe Blow won X amount of money this week. That act and his professional conduct on the golf course in my eyes makes Tommy Fleetwood PGA player of the year. Thank you Tommy for all you do for this game!!
Great talk with Tommy. It’d be very difficult to find a nicer and more humble guy in golf than Tommy! I hope he goes on to have many more wins and mops up a few of those majors! Hats off to Rick and Guy for such a warm and chill interview style!
Great podcast! What a legend our guy Tommy Fleetwood is, got lucky to shake his hand at The Open Portrush and a quick photo with him was happy to chat golf and the course, think his golf is always consistently great. Hope he does well in the future such a talent hope to see more of him in the future.
Deserves a major this lad, we hear a lot about Rory and other players but if there’s a good representation of golf as a game, it’s this guy. All the best Tommy
Tommy is one of my absolute favorite pro golfers. Such a humble dude considering what a player he is. I'm an American and he's still in the top 5 for me hahah just wish he'd taken it easy on us in the Ryder Cup! Haha
Great podcast , TF has always been great, down to earth and very much the sportsman of the game. Thanks RS and GC for an open flowing conversation with a champion!
As a sandgrounder I’m very proud of Tommy great golfer and a lovely man as great a golfer he is I think he’s such a great example of the principles golf is intended to give you !! A true gent I pray he gets that major he deserves
Being a newcomer to the game, with only 2 years playing this awesome sport, Tommy was the first player I resonated with and my favorite pro. He’s just such a genuine and down to earth guy and with an incredible game. Keep it up Rick!
Really enjoyed that guys. Tommy is just a good person and it shows through in the interview. As for getting your kids into the game, it gives you so many good times and memories, enjoy them as they come at you. 👍
A really chilled in depth conversation with one of the greats of golf. Superb. Looking forward to Rick winning his first 10 shot challenge though. 👏👏👏👏
I think the relaxed atmosphere of this interview really helps to show what a great credit to the game Tommy is and so glad that he won in Dubai after this broadcast. I have a picture of Tommy when he won the Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship at my home course Murcar Links in Aberdeen in 2009. I wonder if he still remembers that and what impact it had on his career?
Spectacular Podcast , great guest , wonderful location , didn’t want it to end , but it had to because The 10 shot challenge is coming right after . Well done Rick & Guy and the Superb Tommy .
For whatever reason Tommy seems like such a regular guy that happens to be one of the best golfers in the world. Maybe a lot of pros are similar and I just haven’t seen it but it’s a quality that makes me want to cheer him on
Loving the Ryder Cup conversation. I’ve been lucky enough to attend a few (Celtic Manor, Medinah, Gleneagles & Hazletine, & Paris). Big difference for me is the way fans interact with their teams. European fans come up with classic chants, whereas USA only seem to shout USA or Get in the hole! I’ll never forget walking out of Medinah as closing ceremony was taking place, and the US team all had faces liked a smacked arse 🤣 Quite spontaneously the European fans began singing “Always look on the bright side of life” at them - classic moment I’ll never forget!
I like watching Tour players but I don’t really think there is many of them I’d like to meet. “Don’t meet your heroes” type of thing. But I would genuinely love to meet Tommy Fleetwood. Absolutely a person you could look up to that will surprise you with their actions and attitude even though the success they have had sets them apart from us mortals he is still incredibly humble.
Tommy doesn’t really know his club settings, Tommy admits as a Ryder cup player probably doesn’t appreciate they get it like the fans, humble, honest & bang on, this is why golf fans connect with him, more down to earth than most of the golfing superstars
I’m 51 and seen a lot of Ryder cups and imo the Ryder cup should go back to Marco Simone asap as it was by far the best atmosphere I’ve ever seen in any golf tournament period…
Tommy is such a nice guy - mightily impressed! Great chat, just a shame that Guy is always so star-struck when dealing with pros. Thanks for this Rick!
0:04 Great interview Rick &Guy. Tommy is a class act. Talking about grass roots development. In Aust. our professionals of all sports will spend time visiting schools and have teaching classes throughout the year. I assume similar worldwide. My question is are there programs where MONEY from these big organizations are given to the grass roots schools for developing the next sports stars? I read recently that a professional footballer (African)has built a hospital, a school, fresh water to his town and given his time and money as well to families. That to me is grass roots giving back. He's still the same humble guy now and before he wen't to the Premier league.Sadio Mane from Bambali in Senegal is the lad's name. Now if every pro star did this. Shaq (NBA) still does this.🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺🦘
Great to hear Tommy Fleetwood talk about golf. Sadly Rick I don't think golf being played 18 holes is anything to do with whiskey if you check the history of golf out.
Question for Tommy (or any pro next time you see them) regarding the Olympics vs the Majors - would he/they rather 2nd at Augusta/the Open or Silver at the Olympics?
As a parent, I always felt that it was my job/responsibility to open doors for my children but never to push them through. Perhaps the terms should be support and guidance rather than "push".
Tommy is such an awesome guy, so humble. Great podcast. Just wish Guy would stop cutting people off to get his questions in. Great stories, and point of views though. So excited to see him breaking through and winning.
Could you please put the podcast# into the subject. That way it would be easier to keep track on Apple Podcasts as well, which is to be marked listened or actually to listen.
Tommy wants to be the best golfer he can be. That drives his choices and it is probably best measured majors and the Ryder cup. Other people want other things and that drives their choices. Some might measure their success by making the most money. Etc etc.
Tommy could not be more down to earth. And you can so easily tell that it’s all natural to him. He literally could not be an arsehole even if he wanted to.
Love the interview, but WHAT THE HELL are some of these weird angle close ups of Rick and Guy?? Whys the camera on the floor by the table? I’m sure there’s a reason but it looks terrible 😅
There's no need to repeat all the positive comments made about Tommy, below, but I will add, if the PGA and DPWT could nurture more of their members to be more like Tommy, LIV would find it harder to 'steal' their audience.
I don’t like the fact that the top say 100-125 players in the world have nothing to worry about financially, but number 126 on are struggling hard financially on top of trying to make it on the course. How many talented players that could have made it to number 1 in the world possibly, never got there because of the financial part of the game? Maybe I’m a bit biased because as a kid I was one of those players. I had a lot of talent and buzz around me going pro and playing on the PGA Tour when I grew up because of the scores I was shooting and tournaments I won locally. But my family didn’t have the money to send me off to tournaments on the other side of Michigan, much less in other states. I wasn’t able to spend the winter months in Florida or anywhere warm so I could practice year round. The kids I played with whose family could afford it, went on to have professional careers and I was the kid beating them. I don’t see how this ever gets fixed especially with the NCAA rules.
The Tommy Fleetwood chant involving wives and intercourse was actually a word for word rip off of the Utd chant for Owen Hargreaves. Word for word apart from the names of course.
FYI this was filmed before Tommy's win in Dubai!!
Rick is his good luck charm!! get you on the bag? haha love Tommy, been my fav for years, so good to see him doing so well, and so humble! love the content as always Rick, class act
There's a reason why your videos with Tommy are so popular......he's just a genuine, lovely guy...well done Rick
Nice name bro 😂
And rick isnt taylormade so they dont talk bias club opinions the whole time
He is so pure he rather play for blood money.
NEW 10 shot challenge vs Tommy out this Friday on the main channel! 🙌😉
Tommy already spoiled the result in Grants video
Jst about to say the same 😂🙈

he was talking about their first time I believe. They mention it in this as well. @@stuartellison6895
Was looking forward to watching this too and he spilled the result .. 😂 squeeky bum on 18 apparently
I genuinely don't think there is a nicer more likable human being playing golf than this man... What a class bloke. I hope he wins the lot

Best podcast yet! How is Tommy Fleetwood a real person.. so humble.. so chill, but also, a strong competitor!
Thanks to Rick and Guy for celebrating the sport and providing such exclusive access.
The people love Tommy Fleetwood, what a great/humble/interesting/nice/humorous person, who puts everyone at ease.
Honestly, any video with Tommy is just a class act. Seems a very genuine fella. Really enjoyed the what's in the bag video as well
What an amazing podcast, Tommy smashing it. So genuine and honest. Glad you got the opportunity to interview him.
Tommy is one of my absolute favorite pro golfers. Such a humble dude considering what a player he is. I'm an American and he's still in the top 5 for me hahah just wish he'd taken it easy on us in the Ryder Cup! Haha
These interviews are so nice, you would not expect that champions like Tommy are so down to earth people. Such a nice guy. I'm a fun now!
Great podcast , TF has always been great, down to earth and very much the sportsman of the game. Thanks RS and GC for an open flowing conversation with a champion!
Loved this podcast. Top 5 golfers for me playing at the moment.

Nice one Rick and Guy. Looking forward to following Tommy this year. More wins to come
After Guy, absolutely my favourite golfplayer (I'm not counting you Rick..😊) We need more dudes like this!!
Love Tommy Fleetwood, what an interview.
Fantastic podcast Rick. Great chat with Tommy. I love Tommy Fleetwood ♥️
Daytime listening? Perfect!
Geez Tommy seems like such a top bloke, the content with him has been great.

I have been waiting for this podcast since the last one with Tommy released. It’s about time😂😂
For whatever reason Tommy seems like such a regular guy that happens to be one of the best golfers in the world. Maybe a lot of pros are similar and I just haven’t seen it but it’s a quality that makes me want to cheer him on
Great episode and love that Tommy won after meeting with Rick.
Now let's get Tiger on the pod before a major and watch the magic happen
Another great pod with Tommy. I fancy him for a major this year 🤞
What a man Tommy is, really think this will be his year in the major hunt.

Excellent podcast Ric and team. Tommy should be knighted for that drive in the Ryder Cup.
really feel a PGA Tour win could unlock the first major for Tommy. Good luck to him.
Rick, you gotta do a review on the new Bridgestone golf ball with mindset technology!

Never mind just the kids Rick, Im 49, been playing 6mths and I want to be Tommy Fleetwood too 😊
