    i have 2 7 inch tv headrest monitor for my truck i got everything hooked up but the main reason that im having trouble with is the two yellow cable i dont no if i should hook them up to the back of the headunit or what and its on a blue screen that says no signal help me out plz

      Since you are getting a blue screen, i am gonna assume you got the power side of things taken care of.
      Now for the signal, YES, you will need to hook up the yellow RCA cable to the back of your headunit. Hook it up to the Video Out line. If your headunit only has 1 video output, you will need a Y-splitter to make it into two.

    Did you use one rca splitter to connect the monitors to the android stereo or two to connect both the monitors first, then another to connect it to the head unit ?

    cracking video thanks do you have an install on seats with no zips?

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have done the same on another car with no zips, its about the same except that I had to put in a metal thru the headrest hole and push it down, then from there i used the metal and pull the cable down and out the bottom of the seats.

    Hi there, is there any way I can get these same headrest monitors shipped to Australia?

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you can purchase them off Aliexpress. Those have international shipping. But I don't think getting the same headrest is advisable since its been a few years, I am pretty sure there are better quality headrest screens available now.

      @TC's Anything Goes Yeah, I've been looking on Aliexpress, but I can't seem to find ones that have ips display or they're just not mentioning it in their descriptions 😮‍💨

    I have TV's on my FX35 and idont want them.... Can i just simply remove the headrest and cut the cables?

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, but there would also be a risk of a short. Isn't there a connector that you can just unplug?

    can this work if your car has active headrest?

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      nope as you will be replacing the entire headrest with this one.

    Blue screen problem..how to solve??

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Either need to adjust the color temperature settings, unplug and replug the rca cable, change the rca cable. If the three steps does not work, then most likely your LCD needs replacement.

    Is there a only one cable to connect to one monitor and nothing more?

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is actually 3 cables that needs to be connected inside the center console(this is where I hide all my cables). RCA, Negative and Positive. Then it goes into the monitor via 1 single consolidated cable.

    hahah using HOUSHOLD butt connectors for an audio install. classic janky install. dude, solder it with heatshrink, or very least use proper connectors. didnt even use a ring connector for ground, wrapped wire around the screw. this ISNT how you install things PROPERLLY

    • @TCsAnythingGoes
      @TCsAnythingGoes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for your comments Steven. I would not recommend household butt connectors (i normally just call these connectors) for audio install as well. But since it is only for power and not audio signal, all is well. These connectors makes it easier to add and remove new cables in the future.
      Making a wire loop instead of a ring connector for ground is also something very much practiced in accessory shops in my country. It may not be tidy, but it gets the job done.
      Been having these kind of setup on my other car for more than 4 years, have not burn down yet..... so yeah janky install, but still serve its purpose.
      If anyone wants to use ring connectors, proper automotive connectors, soldering wires and all, I would say good for them for doing a clean install.
      What constitute a bad install or improperly install to me is if someone leaves an exposed positive cable which poses a fire hazard (seen cars burn just hours after an amp installation at famous audio installers before)
