Alright, so I didn't expect this to be an argument that I would hear, but I should have, so let's talk about. A lot of people are saying that Eren would win because he could just crystallize like Annie or Lara, and Levi wouldn't be able to do anything. That's just false. Granted, it makes things more difficult for Levi, but not nearly as impossible as people like to make out. For one, let's say that Eren does this. Eren can then spawn a titan body connected to his actual like Lara, presumably. Levi can still destroy the tethers that connect to the titan body. You could even make an argument that he can do this with his swords alone, since the warhammer titan was not shown to be as durable as Reiner's hardening. But even if you want to argue otherwise, the thunderspears are more than enough to do so. And Levi would only have to do this a few times. Less if he can make Eren use up his stamina with the warhammer's power. And if Eren uses up his stamina while inside the crystal, sure he's defended but he's also incapacitated. That counts as a win, in my book. If both are alive and only one can move, the one that can movie is an obvious winner. Whether or not Eren does the crystallization strat is not the difference between winning or losing. It just raises the difficulty setting a bit for Levi. Feel free to argue why this would actually give a bigger advantage, as I welcome that discussion, but let's not pretend that it secures the win for Eren. Levi still has options.
I think the warhammer produced hardening is tougher. That's why I specified durability
If Titans age while crystallized then Eren would technically die when his 13 years are up somewhere deep underground. Levi wins if Eren resorts to this method.
you're forgetting that eren can still attack even while disconnected from his crystal.
Thunder spears have been shown ineffective against the crystal too so no, Levi blasting them with a thunder spear isn't gonna work.
We do not know how strong the cable is but it is likely as strong as hardening, blades wont get through, thunder spears will however.
Now i agree that erens attack titan is practically useless against levi due to the hardening being destroyed by the thunder spears. We know that eren is also very strategical too so i highly doubt that he would be dumb enough to go face first trying to swat levi like a fly, rather he would most likely throw rocks and hit him like it was a shotgun or summon spikes.
The warhammer titan can also be re-summoned from the crystal incase the thunder spears destroy the cable, this however does require alot of stamina so eren would only be able to do this a few times before becoming way too tired to do much else,he would have to wait a few mins to even a few hours to be able to fight again all while levi could refuel for round 2.
So in my opinion levi would still most likely win the fight but with very great difficulty due to the warhammers power and limited thunder spears and gas.
Levi could NOT kill eren the moment he crystallises, he would drag the fight out and tire him.

Levi literally took on 30 abnormal titans that was faster than any other regular titans , then Procceded to clap Zeke cheeks without breaking a sweat....... Lets not even get on the fact He dismantled Annie as he moved so fast she couldn't hard her skin.... Eren still knows Levi the top dog

@@afnaankhan3617 That's not how that works. Yes, he can see the memories of future inheritors, and yes, that means he can look at past inheritors' memories of seeing his own future. But these memories always come in fragments, just like any other titan shifter. Eren is no exception. He doesnt have full on future sight like you're implying.

@@NO-zb3fz Now that's a fair point. The events that he sees are implied to be unavoidable, so I'll grant you that. I do think it's a funny thought though that Levi was pretty much conveniently crippled, with no other character being capable of killing Eren at the time. Obviously when you get into the stuff with fate, that throws a wrench in there. But you can also argue that the rumbling occurred partly because that future necessitated Levi to get so injured. At that point, it's all headcanon, but so is this hypothetical matchup, so what can ya do.

Levi is faster than any titan, zero wasted movements. He beats any titan solo and that is without thunder spears. Eren would be difficult to beat but if levi plays it smart he would win. Nothing eren does is fast enough. Levi is pretty much unmatched in a 1v1.

I think Levi probably landed on his foot wrong due to Annie’s movement. I don’t think he was damaged because of the impact of her “hit”.
Levi's durability is actually very high. Considering his physical strength which allows his body to take several G's of force when spinning at supersonic speeds, that means his muscle and bone density is extremely high. Hange said it herself that the damage taken from a thunder spear is actually worse on the inside than the outside, meaning Levi got internal injuries which were far more critical than the ones shown on his face and hands and yet he was still alive and able to fight a few days later. What causes those internal injuries is a "shockwave" from the thunderspear. He didn't take the concentrated blast(that's what zeke experienced which blasted his body to bits). Levi is highly resistant to blunt forces(relative to other humans though), like shockwaves, falling from high places(like Mikasa when she ran out of gas). But sharp forces like bullets and swords would do a number on him yeah. You should also take into account, that the ultra hardened blade projectiles from the blast didn't go in deeper into his face than they should've(they're capable of cutting through Titan flesh and bones). Also you made a good point about Levi fracturing his leg on the female Titan's hand, and I would actually take that as one of his greatest durability feat. Though Annie didn't use her full strength, the swing was actually pretty fast since Mikasa wouldn't have been able to dodge, and yet Levi stopped the full force of that hand with his legs. That's several tonnes of force our boy tanked but he got off with just a fracture... Other people would've had their whole body shattered to pieces if they tried that

@@thekingofdoms her tendons were too weak to help her protect her nape as Levi had chopped them off. But he knew her arm could still be mobile since he was the one landing the blows hence why he told Mikasa to "stop!". Annie was going to kill Mikasa with that swing that's why Mikasa was shocked and why Levi had to step in personally to save her, but since he was in the way he stopped the hand with his leg, that's precisely why his ankle got fractured. And within the split second that he saved Eren, her hand fell back down

@@thekingofdoms rewatch the scene. The Blu-ray corrected version preferably or the manga. When Mikasa went in for the strike, Annie froze her nape then swung her fist. If there was already hardening on her nape then the reason for swinging the fist was to hit Mikasa not to cover her nape which already had protection. The fact of the matter is that Annie swung her hand and it was going to hit Mikasa, and if Levi's legs aren't enough to stop Annie's hands(keep in mind that it wasn't swung at full strength because of cut tendons and her position) then how come they cracked under the pressure and the hand went down. I don't really get what you're aiming at
Let's be honest if Levi was in cleaning mode or someone made a mess in front of Levi nobody can stop Levi from killing the person no matter who they are

Levi is a downright badass and beast all to himself. With everything being taken into consideration and how you might change the numbers around, he could easily defeat Eren. Also keep in mind that Levi knows Eren’s power well as that’s why Levi took custody of him so he personally got to see Eren’s power up close and personal.
Far as his durability, I’d rank it pretty high. Taking into consideration all his fights, he was able to withstand a lot more than most. Take Annie for example. He easily could’ve landed too quickly and in the wrong position, and still moved out of the way before Annie could move he hand farther back and possibly have hurt Levi far worse.
Overall he’s a very powerful character and is so well made.
Thunder spears could be connected to Titan science because they have a property that is like that of the power of the titans, lightning. The iceburst stone that fuels the ODM gear is the same, a mineral derivative of titan hardening. These materials exist only on Paradis and came from the Founding Titan.
There is a reason why Levi had to be nerfed
Levi can only defeat Eren if he uses attack titan. If Eren uses war hammer titan, collosal titan and Founding titan levi has no chance

@@aganbraganca4156 I figure that to be the case as well. But he only got access to that after being in contact with Zeke and granting himself that power. For this matchup with Levi, I was only using the version of him after he got the warhammer and didnt access to the founding yet. The founding makes it a boring fight to think about bc with it, it's so one sided.
I don't see how Levi can beat eren because eren is not a dumbass so he will go into the crystal and fight from there. Levi might even end up exhausting his blades and thunderspears. And eren has much more stamina than the Lara tybur. After seeing eren in season one succumb to exhaustion due to the overuse of his powers I came to a conclusion that lasting for longer periods of time would require the shifter to gain stamina. The only way he can do that is is train his body like hell in human form. It just doesn't come by spamming the powers over and over again. If you train your muscles then you can obviously last longer. In this case, eren takes the win over Lara tybur. Over the years Eren has become this strong because of him maturing and his hellish training to gain more stamina. Of course he trains in hand to hand also. Once eren is in the crystal, Levi can't even touch him. The only thing he can do is run away or fight the empty titans that eren controls. I still see people claiming that Annie is stronger than eren but realistically speaking she's obviously not. Eren is a six feet tall, muscle bound dude who has the crazy martial arts skills and he's a very fast learner. He was able to overpower reiner who was supposed to be the 2nd ranked in the entire class. If there is a fight against Annie and eren right now eren wins easily. Listen, forget all the idiotsic thugs Annie has fought in lost girls. They have no training at all and even random soldiers can kick their ass. Annie is fighting against a monster who has pretty much trained his body and muscles like hell. Males in their prime will obviously be faster and have better reflexes and power than females in their prime. We are comparing the best female martial artist to the best male martial artist. If you think realistically without deluding yourself then your will understand why eren wins easily. If isayama thinks Annie is still stronger than eren then something is wrong with him. Realistically, a few crushing punches from eren can knock her out. And those punches are not from an amateur who knows nothing. For this reason I think eren will make the fight even harder for Levi. Eren might have also planned on how to counter the odm gear because he's everyone's enemy. Eren is not stupid. He's a mastermind. And dodging those hardened spikes is no easy task because those are substances from the paths which form in less than a second. We have seen how quick that hardened spike formed when Lara pierced eren. If eren forms those spikes at a wide area when Levi is coming to attack the empty titan's nape at full speed, even if Levi tries to dodge he'll get pierced by them. Also eren has crazy reflexes. In the battle against reiner, Porco and pieck in shiganshina, Porco leaps at eren with full speed from behind eren and eren just slams the back of his fist into Porco's face and sends him flying far away. And Porco is supposed to be faster than mikasa since he dodged her attacks with ease. Eren is a huge threat for Levi, and his feats prove why he's so dangerous. So being so sure that Levi will win against eren is wrong because you never looked into eren's feats at all.
You do make some solid points in Eren's favor, as to his skill and intelligence, but I really don't think you give Levi nearly enough credit as to his intelligence and reflexes. Yes, Eren is a very good hand to hand combatant. This makes him one of the best opponents against titan shifters. He's so good, he manhandled the quick Jaw titan. That is very true and I think if you put eren against most other titan shifter, you can make a case for him winning pretty handily. However, his martial arts does not translate well to fighting the ODM gear. Paradis was his enemy for a very short time and he does not have much experience against them, aside from maybe Lara's memories. Again, Eren's reflexes are good but Eren's speed against Porco was no better than Levi's or even Mikasa's speed against him. Even if you don't want to concede that Levi is faster, they are at least comparable. Add that to the fact that hitting a small, moving target is not easy and the only conclusion is the Eren has a tough time landing hits.
Now, I will say this. I absolutely should have addressed what would happen if Eren used the crystalized hardening like Lara did. I agree that it makes things difficult for Levi, but it does not make him helpless and that is a fallacy of yours. Levi already has the knowledge of how that ability works, so he is not going to waste time simply fighting the empty titan. He can just as easily target the tether that connects Eren to the titan. if he succeeds in this, Eren has the option of abandoning this strategy or using up his stamina creating creating more bodies. The tether was not hardened like Lara's was. In that case, either Eren manages to win and kills Levi or Levi forces Eren to run out of stamina. You can consider that either a victory or a stalemate. It doesn't matter since only one would still be moving around.
Lastly, you do make a good point about how fast the warhammer spikes are. They are portrayed as much faster than normal titan attacks, considering how they pretty much overwhelmed Porco and Reiner. That being said, when that ability was used on Eren, he did manage to react and block the attack to his neck despite never seeing the ability before. Levi has both prior knowledge on how the warhammer works and I think I've done enough to showcase that he has comparable or better reflexes than Eren. Plus, even if Levi is in a position where he can't get in close, thunderspears give him limited-use ranged attacks that overpower any hardening except for the crystal hardening that Lara used.
Now, I don't want to pretend that it's an absolute stomp in Levi's favor, but Levi is more experienced in this kind of combat, has more options in how he can approach the fight and the necessary speed to deal with the situation. It is not at all absurd to see the fight as being in his favor.
Only females can go into a crystal like Annie and Ibel. So Eren can't do that.

Eren is powerful yes but Levi fully equipped with ODM Gear and Thunder spears can definitely beat him. Plus you haven’t taken into account Erens stamina isn’t endless and is less than Levis, If Eren wants to transform more than once, use the war hammers powers while fighting Levi thats a whole lot of Stamina. Eren is only Human and the transformation process alone takes a heep of stamina. The Ackerman abilities heightened their endurance, reflexes, strength, speed and stamina to an Extreme. We’ve seem Levi take out hordes of titans and still be ready to chase down someone. Theres a reason Isayama broke his leg, if Levi was fine season 2 would have been over real quick. Even if Eren goes in a crystal shell underground all Levi has to do is pull of that same spin move and cut circularly down his body head to toe like he did annie and cut the cord attached to his ankle. Levi has shown to be so fast that titan shifters cant even see him move. Plus the Ackermans get stronger and stronger with each new generation since the battle experience is built up more and more. The Ackermans were created during the great titan war so thats 141 years before the current story and who knows how many awakened Ackermans in that time period. Im not Saying Eren wouldn’t give levi heavy work but hes not coming out without working up a sweat.

Thunder spears might be similar to real life HEAT warheads used to defeat tank armor. They use a explosive charge to superheat a piece of metal with a low melting point resulting in liquid molten metal being squished through a tiny area in the armor at hypersonic speeds. Since pressure = force/area it will go through most thick armor plates unless they have ERA panels.
That's super interesting, actually. I wasnt aware that technology like that existed in real life.

To be fair with the thunder spears, they're essentially RPGs but with a pin instead of an arming distance. I think of it like an armored vehical. Bullets wont do anything, but RPGs will do something.

For durability you can see when Levi breaks his leg it’s because of the speed he has built up from his ODM gear and his awkward position for his landing which is the real reason he broke his leg

Probably Eren. Zeke has range, but Eren is just a more skilled fighter and the moment he gets close, I cant imagine Zeke will be able to do much.

That's good for primates but not very applicable here. Eren has strength well above what a human would have proportionally at his size so that kind of scaling doesnt work for aot

At first I thought Eren would win then I realized that is probably wrong. Most of times Eren has actually came out victorious was because of the Scout’s help. Like Eren probably would’ve lost against the war hammer if they didn’t save him. Without anyone helping him I’m pretty sure Levi would win
I believe that is more of a strength than a weakness. Eren relying on other proves that other are willing to help him, even in situations where the odds are massively against them. Asking for and recieving help is a virtue that few achieve.

Realistically, the only way the people on paradis stand a chance against the rest of the world is because of eren. If Levi was trying to kill him, he would automatically become the villian. Despite of all the dumb shit eren might do, its the duty of every soldier and comman man on paradis to protect eren if they want to live.

@@fishcakes2947 In that case, yes. But the video puts levi on a pedestal that is out of eren's reach. Firstly, eren's founding titan powers are not included and secondly, the fight is a 1v1 where levi would easily win as he mostly shines alone unlike eren who's power lies in the friends and allies he made along his journey.
Levi is an expert titan killer. The first step to beat him would probably be not being a titan in the first place(the weak spot is too obvious and hard to protect). And the second step? Be an Ackerman, because regular people won't stand a chance.
There was one time that Bertolt broke the sound barrier by flying at full speed, so I guess we can put the speed of the ODM Gear Supersonic speeds at maximum.
It's possible it has crazy top speed capabilities like that, that most people cant handle. Titan shifters have some weird feats like that, like when Armin punches Eren and there's a sonic boom, despite them being in human form. Although we never get a verbal statement that Titan shifter have stronger human forms.

I started thinking about it and it goes fight until One is incapacitated or dead, then levi stomps via thunder spear blitz. If the rules are fight to the death, then that means eren wins via just chillin in the crystal waiting for levi to age to death.
I consider matchups to be until one is unable to fight anymore. By that metric, I would say that if Eren were to run out of stamina while in the crystal, that would count as a loss towards him. I should've made that clearer in the video though.

I'm late for this discussion but I was thinking that all Levi got to do is chop off the Jaw Titan's claws like Mikasa did to his feet (since we saw it has a effect in doing some damage on the crystal) & then use his claws in god mode on the crystal or maybe even chopping off the Jaw Titan's Jaw to break the War hamner's crystal in god mode & then Levi could win that way😊. Either which way, I'm enjoying reading all these interesting great comments on here & seeing their perspectives on Eren vs Levi debate. Take Care everyone👋

Since this is a fictional world in a crafted story, only the author decides who wins.
The only thing we can do without considering plot and time is to base them off their Average Power, meaning that wouldnt be Injured Levi but
Levi with the old ODM gear but with no thunderspears.

Eren without founding titan powers or warhammer powers But with Attack Titan hardening.
So its Basically like Annie vs Levi BUT Eren wont be exhausted yet like Annie so he can transform 2 to 3 times with hardening, But Levi would also be able to completely force Eren to transform those 3 times because can just cut his entire Attack Titan head or incapacitate him to avoid the hardening on his nape.
Leaving me to believe it would be a tie because Levis blades would be spent and maybe left with 2 dulled blades but Eren can just Harden like a crystal to avoid getting sliced.
The only time live got damaged by another creature is when Erwin slammed his head in mud before he joined the survey corps

I really feel you are forgetting the different situations of this too. The battle between Eren and Levi also GREATLY depend on the terrain. If it is a flat land, then Levi is at a pretty big disadvantage, and Levi also has had trouble in fighting opponents smarter than him, which Eren I would argue has that kind of ability given how he was completely outmatched by the Warhammer in almost every way, but won thanks to his planning. He straight-up knew the scouts would come save him, and while yeah that wasn't a solo strength feat, my point is is that it helps a lot for his strategic planning. Levi constantly is on the ropes on what to do, ultimately leaving the decision to others as a few times he has said even HE does not know the right choice, hence his whole ordeal on not knowing how things will end. Eren also during that time was being 2v1'd by both the Jaw Titan and Warhammer, so to say he was having trouble there is a no-brainer. Also if I'm being quite frank, a lot of Levi's more impressive feats come from his surprise attacks since he is fast and can get the job done quick, but Eren with his hardening, Warhammer Titan ability, and his Founding Titan power in able to call Titans to him )which has worked before with Zeke being able to use that to his advantage numerous times) Eren has many ways to keep him away and think of ways to get around Levi. Ultimately while this outcome I still might give to Levi, this is not nearly as one-sided as you think it is. Also we never really got to see much of Post-Timeskip Eren fighting, but given how calm and collected he was the whole time and the clever traps he laid, we can at least say that he has the intelligence to contend with Levi, coupled with his Titan powers.
Levi figured out how to beat 30 of Kenny's henchmen and escape alive, all equipped with anti-edm gear, after being surprised and being under insane pressure from long-range weapons. I think you're underestimating a little.

I feel it is under very specific circumstances can he put that kind of plan in action. When Kenny's Squad was waiting for the Survey Corps back during the ritual, Levi knew damn well he wasn't walking in there alone, the first time around he was lucky that guy in the bar with that shotgun had a way for him to get out or he'd of been dead eventually. I think he even said himself in the manga/anime that he couldn't have kept running, he had to act or they would have caught up to him.

I disagree. Zeke's titan is focused on ranged combat, basically he's a piece of artillery.
Another thing is Eren actually knowing how Levi fights and knowing himself the limitations of ODM gear, Eren can also transform into a titan up to 3 times and harden on top of being the 2nd best martial artist in the series 2nd only to Annie.

The speed of the thunder spears and the speed of their explosion is very different. They may travel a certain speed, likely slower than the jaw. But Levi was trying to get away from the explosion and explosions are always bare minimum faster than sound. There's a lot of variation though and some explosions are MUCH faster than that, so an exact number is hard to say. It just does make sense for Levi to get hit despite his split second reaction.
The fast titan is the Jaws titan, whose fastest speed feat is Mach 1.5.
Explosions are around Mach 7 to Mach 30

Granted if Levi didn’t have access to Thunder spears id say it would Go either way but since he has them the war hammers hardening wouldn’t be anything to him, Mikasa held her own against the war hammer and isn’t on the same level as Levi yet. Plus Eren cant use the Founding titan without a titan with royal blood. The Official Aot wiki says Erens stats are 3/10 with wits and 9/10 with Combat and thats with all 3 titans he has. Levi is 8/10 with Wits and 11/10 with combat. Plus Eren doesn’t know how fights will go for him he can only see some of he future with some memories he doesn’t automatically know that he’ll beat this person in a fight. If its a fight of strength or a fight to the death either looks pretty good for Levi fully equipped with ODM Gear and Thunderspears.

Also we have no reason to believe his hardening would deflect a thunderspear. i dont think it would. I feel like Eren is overall more powerful than Levi, but Levi is probably Eren’s worst matchup. However, endgame Eren prolly claps Levi.
The sheer numbers that Ymir adds to Eren's arsenal is just so overwhelming, that Levi would have to know exactly where Eren's head was and be able to manuever there flawlessly. It ain't impossible, but it'd be tough. At the same time though, I cant think of anyone else in the series who would do better than Levi.

I feel like Levi wins 6/10 times and Eren wins 4/10 times. Since I feel like Eren was faster than the original warhammer, Eren might be able catch Levi off guard with the warhammer power, and Eren can transform 3 times in the Raid. This may change since he wasn’t able to transform again in the Invasion on Shinganshina, but I feel like that’s cuz Eren had to spam spikes cuz Pieck shot his head. Even with the warhammer titan power, Eren should be able to transform at like twice, giving him an advantage. He can even pull an Annie and hide in the crystal and Levi can’t rlly do much to him there and he just transform again inside the crystal to catch him off guard. But then again I feel like Levi’s too fast so I’m in slight favor of Levi but I can see both ways.

I feel like you gave Levi too much credit. He is powerful. Immensely powerful. Debating otherwise would be pointless. However, Eren knows exactly how powerful he is. He knows how he moves, fights, and attacks. Post Marley Eren may not have a GOOD chance per se, but I'd say that his own skill and improved strengths he'd undergone over the time skip would be enough to somewhat close the gap between the 2. I believe that going all out with everything he's learned throughout his life and his knowledge of Levi's abilities would be enough to POSSIBLY eke out a win. It wouldn't be clear cut by any extent of the word, but at the very least. Eren only needs to hit him once in order to kill him.

A few questions. 1. Why is Eren being in a crystal a win? Just because Levi cant hurt him there doesnt mean Eren can beat him. 2. Why would Levi run out of fuel if Eren stayed in a crystal? Levi needed help against Zeke because he needed to get close. The lack of buildings and trees is the ODM Gear's biggest weakness and range is Zeke's biggest strength. Context is a huge part of these battles.

They are such an extreme case that just being strong doesnt satisfy the requirements. Levi cant be a Gary Stu because he does a lot of morally questionable stuff and makes a lot of mistakes.
@@ZenithAniManga every enemy or challenge he faces - he beats with little effort; every "good guy" he encounters likes him; he almost never makes mistakes or bad decisions; he is also smart, strong, handsome, composed, calm, kind, confident, brave, self-reliant etc. Other than his cockyness he's basically flawless. Maybe he's not 100% Mary Sue but like 80%+ for sure.
The problem is he makes a lot of mistakes. He is always the strongest person on the battlefield but time and time again, he is one of the only survivors because his strength isnt enough to save his soldiers. Thats the whole point of his character. The perfect example of this is both fights against Zeke. He makes a vow to kill this one person, and because of his failures more people die at his expense. And another thing, I mentioned how gary stus and mary sues are often super virtuous. Levi doesnt fit that either since he readily murders people without flinching. And you might be thinking, "oh well that's super specific, so even if he doesnt fit it perfectly, I can still say that he's kind of a gary stu", but you cant. Once you start throwing terms around like that for criticism, they lose meaning. Gray Stus dont look that bad anymore when you throw the label onto every overpowered character.
Honestly I feel like it is more the matter of approach. Eren most intense duels were with titan shifters by far and he hasn't tried fighting anyone with ODM gear.
However he does know that Levi has been able to defeat all of the shifters he fought with and Levi has no idea of what tricks might Eren have when fighting human. He probably has some ways to counter blades and spears. Besides annie he is the only person who is actually prepared to fight with someone like Levi.
Annie was very skilled but her titan is nowhere near as powerful as Eren's titan after he ate the warhammer titan and at this point of the series Eren has a lot of experience.
If I were to call it I would bet Levi can no longer take down Eren on his own.
Also it is not a big deal for Eren to transform again should he blunder and let Levi severly hurt his titan. So long as he has crystalized nape he is good.
Levi would lose because there is no scenerio where he could win once Eren Crystallises and uses war hammer Titan .
Not to mention Lara tybur was not a experienced shifter as she never got to use it to hide her identity and never had any combat experience. Whereas Eren Yeager is currently the best shifter .
If Eren could not crystallise then I would have given it to Levi but without crystallization Eren would easily transform 2-3 times. This along with fact that you cannot damage crystal except for jaw Titan clearly puts Levi at a massive disadvantage . If it was only one time transformation Levi would win. But here Eren fucks everyone in the world in 1 v 1 at this point .
nah levi wins 100000% . Without the scouts eren would die when the war hammer attacked.
