I like Pangasinan surrounded by sandy beaches and Baguio city with the cool weather like here in Europe. You can apply for a citizenship and Filipino passport. What I find really strange/interesting is that she picked up the Filipino accent when speaking English. This means that she had no exposure to the English language before she started learning it in school. Since she was born in the Philippines, has citizenship and lived there her entire life, I wouldn’t consider her Indian. She is Filipina.
The Philippines follows the principle of jus sanguinis (law of the blood) to determine citizenship, that's why we claim atheletes with 1 drop of FIlipino blood as Filipinos but,as a foreigner born in the Philippines even if your parents or grandparents were born in the Philippines you are not a FIlipino since you don't have Filipino blood. Those same people if they get in trouble won't have rights as FIlipinos and they can't be deported to country of origin of their ancestors since they're considered people without a country. There's probably millions of Philippine born foreign-Pinoy but somehow we still consider them foreigners, its a shame compared to America you can be a tourist or illegal alien if your child is born there,he gets the American rights and protection their citizeship is cheap and easy compared to Philippines.
