You don’t have to clean the jar just pour it out then mixed with what it’s show in the video and put it back into the jar. If you clean the jar make sure it wipe dry before you put it back.

The molding causes from the jar that is not sealed tight and yes it’s fine just remove the mold . If you take a look a few meat to the bottom nothing is mold.

No it will not ferment the right way. It will be mold and smell porky

Once it’s fermented sour then you can refrigerated. I never keep it forever but longer than 6 months.

Mine didnt turn red after 6 days. Is it because i added way too much salt?
Sea salt you have to add. Not the regular salt . It’s ok if it didn’t turn red.
