Sorry, this is way too basic. Are the dominant chords from Harmonic minor, Harmonic Major, locrian natural 7 or Neapolitan minor.? Does Bach create a dominant pedal sequence by stringing together the dominant modes from multiple scales to create subtle differences in the sustained perfect cadence that is coming? This is too vague.
