Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa

You would need to drill through your brick and run the wire to an exterior rated box. I have only hooked mine up to an existing wire from a previous light. I don’t have any videos showing anything else.

I’ve been reluctant to do this project fearing the holes (even if pre marked) won’t line up perfectly because my bricks are not smooth bricks.

Masonry bit was too loose in my opinion to adhere to the brick after I drilled it in. I stopped, thinking that some construction glue or some type of sealant is needed to properly secure these screws. Any ideas or tips? I don’t want the camera to fall off the wall.

Hard brick needs a hammer drill AND a better bit. I used the 1/4 inch and carefully threaded the tiny screws through the base, into the anchors before sinking the anchors into the wall. To lazy to go buy a special 15/64 impact drill bit…

How long should the drilling through brick generally take? I have a 1200w hammer drill with the proper masonry drill bits (and all the correct hammer settings & speeds etc), but the bricks in my home still take 15-20 mins to drill 1.5 inch deep per hole.
