I'm from Fort Worth, and she definitely hit the nail on the head.. All of these places are incredible, the only thing she did not mention is that risky's barbecue is located right behind a delicious brewery where you can have cold beer and walk 30 yards for awesome barbecue!
Awesome video. When we visited from the UK earlier this year we managed to hit Heim, Flores and Panther City. Seems like we need to head back as so many new openings now.
Jess, I would smash a love button if there was one. It's a great video of some great food. I'll be sure to swing by some of those places the next time that I find myself in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
The entire DFW metroplex is exploding with some EXCELLENT barbecue!! North Central Texas is definitely taking its rightful place among the top barbecue destinations anywhere! Great video Jess , thank you!
@@jameswalker8133 Thats laughable so to speak. TM BBQ is a big hype job. TM "BBQ Honk" Daniel Vaughan is from DALLAS and knew next to nothing about BBQ 20 years ago so most Central Texans are 30-40 years ahead of him to start with and his his little group of mostly 20 and 30 somethings have been eating brisket 10 years or LESS and most have NEVER cooked a single brisket so their "opinions" are novice at best. And it appears that the current top rated places were chosen for their "variety" of different items more so than the ONE thing a BBQ joint in TEXAS should be rated on brisket, period. Who gives a sh#t how many different "craft" sausages they make or the fifteen side dishes and desserts and homemade tortillas? Bottom line is Franklin will always have the best brisket and the places in Lockhart selling brisket at FAIR prices will be just fine with most folks that refuse to pay $50 for a few slices of brisket and a couple sides and drinks. We pay that kind of money for STEAKS.
Just back from Fort Worth! So much fun and the food was great and we did go to Heim and had the pork belly burnt ends! They were actually better than Jess says!!!
Excellent presentation, the gastronomy of Texas always existed… today it's more refined and known to the world. Tex-Mex is a different thing, also Texan (not Mexican)… but like the other is a fusion of cuisine and ideas from more places than this continent. Thanks for the video You forgot the wine pairings! (Or beer) 😉
Tex-Mex is Mexican and Texan fused, at least the good Tex-Mex is. Don’t forget Texas or Tejas was a part of Mexico and there is still a lot of Mexican influences here. Part of my family came to Goliad, Tejas from Spain in 1753 before The USA was even a country. The other half was already here being almost half Amerindian. Mexican food is mostly a fusion of Spanish and Amerindian cuisine. Barbacoa y oríginally an Amerindian dish made in a pit in the ground. My grandpa and uncles still make Barbacoa that way in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
Thanks for another great video, but y’all forgot the newest and best bbq in ft worth. GOLDEE’S 4645 Dick Price rd. Ask for Dylan . In mY humblest opinion these guys are definitely in the direction of the James Beard award,,,, for everything on the menu !!! Don’t miss this one!! Richest Blessings
I’m confused about the spinalis and the eye of ribeye. You got both of them , but the were off menu items… but couldn’t you have just gotten the ribeye which is both of those pieces just together.
Go to Woody Creek in SPRINGTOWN, not Fort Worth's Woody Creek, just ain't the same, and get the pork ribs, 🤤🤤🤤👍 I get em by the rack whenever I have the money, they're that good.
My doctor's been riding my ass, telling me I need to eat lots of steamed vegetables and switch to tofu, but after watching you joyously chomp through roughly ten long horns on your various dishes you ordered, I reached an epiphany and middle-fingered my doctor's advice. So, get out of my way, Soy Boys, meat is back on the menu!
She is Australian...but apparently ashamed of where she is from. She tries so hard to out on the fake American accent for some reason. She should just be herself.
4th Generation Fort Worth guy here. Barley heard of any of these places. These have all come up in the last five years. She ignored Railhead and many others. Fort Worth is not really known for BBQ anyway. Central Texas far superior
Agree with everyhting you wrote here. Old school FW guys go to Railhead and Angelos. And Central TX has better BBQ than AlL of these millennial owned places.
5:40 "Texas brisket reached legendary status HERE?" Not hardly lady. CENTRAL TX brisket reached legendary status around 1960 in Lockhart and there is not even ONE BBQ place in North Texas as good..period.
I lived in Fort Worth for 23 years and like a fool, I moved south! Because of the stockyards and the great bbq places we are moving back soon!

Risckys has always been horrible. Railhead and Angelos are solid at fair prices.
I love my City ❤
That's a great journey to begin. I've lived here for many years and Fort Worth definitely has a lot of Texas culture and charm.
Great show! I love Fort Worth! ❤️
Born and raised in FW. The bbq outside of Austin is far better.
PS, I love your voice and your witty delivery. I wish you well with your blogs and have subscribed.
Expertly narrated and very easy on the yes, what a winning hand!, Jess you need your own show!
I LOVE Fort Worth!
ah may zein!! We have been to the stockyards and didnt see HALF of this! We are going back, thank you Jess P
Awesome video. When we visited from the UK earlier this year we managed to hit Heim, Flores and Panther City. Seems like we need to head back as so many new openings now.
Time to check out the number 1 BBQ joint in TX…Goldees BBQ :)))

CENTRAL TX BBQ laughs at North Texas, err South Oklahoma BBQ especially brisket...
According to the new Texas Monthly Top 50 , doesn’t look like central Texas bbq is laughing too hard now! My comment was made a year ago.

This isn’t about dfw. It’s about Fort Worth Texas. Fuck Dallas
Great video Jess, the food looked absolutely delicious and love the part on the history of Texas style bbq you did. Great Job.
You have ever been to County Line near Austin? Best BBQ I have ever had.
Jess Pryles lost her Australian accent…..she’s a bad ass for sure.
Great tour guide
Nice....real nice!
Definitely on my places to visit list when international travel resumes.
love this format and vid
Just back from Fort Worth! So much fun and the food was great and we did go to Heim and had the pork belly burnt ends! They were actually better than Jess says!!!
Great job
You need to come to Meridian in the fall for the National BBQ cookoff to compete or help us judge. My wife have judged a few years and we love it!
Great video. And now I’m HUNGRY AF !!!!!!
Wow! Quite a step up from your other videos. A+
There is so much more in Ft.Worth other than the Damn stockyard's!
Right. Like literally every bbq place that was featured?
Best pork ribs I've ever had in my life were smoked in Ft. Worth in grampas smoker. Wild boar ribs. Holy smokes!
Makes me so excited about BBQ, love the video keep them coming.
🤘🏼 nice channel

Welcome to my city 🌆🌆🌆
9:52 - The best RACK in the entire video. WOW.
Heyyyyyooooo
Go to Dyanes craft bbq in Fort Worth & of coarse Texas #1 Goldees
In case you're wondering, that 10-lb smoked beef shin dinner is $88 and for a small army of hungry people.
What a joke.
Am I the only one struggling to understand because of her hotness ? My lawd!
I'm with ye man!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO
Thanks for another great video, but y’all forgot the newest and best bbq in ft worth. GOLDEE’S

Please take me with you next time. My taste buds exploded in envy
no goldee's??
Will Ft.Worth claim Goldees since it’s closer than Dallas? Or will Kennedale come out of the shadows?

Great vid Jess
No mention of Angelo's or The Railhead ?
Any joint that has a CHEF is not a BBQ Joint !

Lovely women 🔥🔥🔥🔥 #irishapproved
I thought this chick was Australian , but she sounds American .
Good lord, those are impressive...
Im confused now.. i thought she's Australian? Whaatt???!!!
She is
Her other videos in Australia she has her thick Australian accent....🤔
HARD EIGHT IN COPPELL 🥹🤤
She's hot
Huh, this is when you changed your accent
This vid is a vegans worst nightmare. Lol
Nope, that would be North Carolina!
Lol I hate they shutdown Queen City Q in Charlotte 😢
Seriously?!
Why does her accent change from strong American to strong Australian???!!!
great American-English accent, perfect. even better than Hugh Laurie's.
She is Australian...but apparently ashamed of where she is from. She tries so hard to out on the fake American accent for some reason. She should just be herself.

You would think that if you think Railhead is quality bbq.
So where is the accent?
