    Thanks Andy! I watch a few model channels but I always feel like your videos are made for regular people! Easy to follow, excellent presentation and explanations, and most importantly to me, not so long winded that the video gets boring !
    I appreciate all you do and have missed watching your build and finishing tutorials! Keep it up and wishing you and your family health and happiness in 2022!

    Hi Andy. I like how you let the viewer see what products you are using, so we know what to order from you. This is huge as I am getting back into the hobby. I am older now so the large scale kits are perfect for a older guy and these videos are really well done. Lots of new techniques to take modeling skills to another level. Thank you so much for sharing these with us.

    looks good after weathering that! I've got there stug for next build after RfMs full interior stug I'm doing now! It's beautiful it's actually an early stug with same engine bay as the ausf B to F8 stugs miniarts has late engine bay and engine the difference is quite unbelievable actually there a totally different build inside! Miniarts is more a late than an early! I had to do alot of research into why RFMs was so different but my books came to the rescue with all the early interiors so RFMs is perfect

    Hi Andy, I’m relatively new to this level and rediscovered the hobby in the pandemic when I couldn’t play golf! I love it! This is a great video as always and I copied it for this exact model…the spare tracks I’ve done look great! The tracks for the vehicle though I have a question? I’ve weathered them and they have gone brittle? Do you repeat the TS80 on the NATO black coat I put on the main tracks, before you add the chipping coat, streaking grime etc? Not sure where I’ve gone wrong!? 😮

    Hi Andy! Fantastic job! I certainly learned a few new things. I have a question for you (or anyone willing to answer) - Can I get similar results if I don't have an airbrush? Is this even possible to do without it or I shouldn't bother because painting everything with a hand brush is not worth it?

    Thanks for another video Andy. I'm curious if you considered using the DAK colors by Tamiya XF92 or XF93 and if not why. I've also been seeing builders, like David Parker for example, giving DAK armor a scuffed sand blasted look more than chipping. At any rate, thanks again. I bought my Stug from you guys and am pumped to build it.

  • @noreenbedford7106
    @noreenbedford7106 ปีที่แล้ว

    A lot vehicles where primed with red lead every body used it on both sides of ocean ships buildings everything rust inhabitant that why in North Africa the sand would blast the paint off and the vehicles would look pink.

    25:47 I’ve constructed both the Das Werk 1/16 Panzer III and the STUG and each time had to do some delicate modifications to the tracks before mounting them on the tank armour…
    If you freeze the frame at 25:47 you can see that (because Das Werk didn’t supply a purpose moulded part) the mounted tracks have Track Rods without bolt heads at one end and Bolt Heads without a Track Rod at the other… I know it’s a small detail but in real life this would literally be impossible… great paint and weathering, not meaning to criticise… just sayin’ 😬
