An organic shop on Baron Taylor Street. Visit the West landscape around Applecross, Tirridon, Gairloch and Skye of course. I'm French who was worker on Ninian rig, I love this wonderful place. Be strong Scottish people.
Grew up there as a kid, remember cycling to whin Park and also jumping off those bridges into the river Ness (t'was a time of blissful ignorance of the dangers). Lots of fond memories of Inverness though, if you go back again with your kids, highly recommend a trip to aviemore to see the Highland wildlife park and also visiting the Landmark centre, Craig Phadric is well worth a walk too and crossing over the Kessock Bridge is literally crossing the bridge between that of the world of mortals and that of magic.
Wow, thanks for sharing those memories. We would love to get back and thanks so much for those suggestions on what to see once we do. All the best to you. - Henry
Such a great Video. I've been in Inverness just once but I had a wonderful time taking long walks there . Pity I didn't know anything about that breathtaking Book Shop when I was visiting the city. Stay Safe and Greetings from Spain
Thanks so much for watching. One can’t see everything on these visits. It’s always a good incentive to return. Hopefully you will get a chance to return as well. I would love to spend more time there on long walks as you did. Thanks so much for commenting and watching. All the best. - H

St, Andrews is a Cathedral, not a Church. When they built it they ran out of money, the Cathedral never got the spires it could have had. Still lovely to see my town.. I refuse to use the word C--y. I was born and live in the town!
Thankyou for this video! We'll be spending a few days there this summer and I love these ideas for the kiddos!
Such a beautiful city when the weather is as nice as we found it and so many things nearby as well. Have a great trip!! -H
Great video. I'm going up to Inverness this weekend. Lovely city.

@@Travelingmel you're welcome
That castle has been the court for many years though the court now has its own building.
Ok. Great. Thanks for that info. I wasn't completely sure what it's current function is. -H
@@Travelingmel Built as a court and prison, the Castle has recently closed and is being converted into a tourist attraction..
Thank you👍

Such a beautiful city and country. -H
In my opinion a lot of the actual entertaining thing to do in Inverness is on the outskirts rather than the town centre
That's good to know. Can you give some examples? -H
