I love Rwanda, I have been there twice now (last august was the second time). I have a few very good friends (they call me family) there. I always try to "integrate" in the country I am visiting, by learning a bit of the language and habits. Rwanda is one of the most inspiring countries I have visited, considering the remarkable progress that this country has made in just 28 years.
Thank you for visiting our country but as a point of correction, the number of Tutsi victims that were killed during 1994 Genocide Against Tutsi is not 800,000 rather it is more than one million (1000,000 plus) but everyday people discover other victims in different areas of the country and there are some families that wiped out completely whereby you cannot get information of where they threw their bodies. But all in all Rwanda is a peaceful country with the best leader PAUL KAGAME who strive for the prosperity of the citizens at large.
Talking about Genocide against Tutsi, the number is not 800,000 people, it's over one million lives killed. But now unity and reconciliation is the choice we made to rebuild our country and the progress is extraordinary. Thank you for visiting us. We are proudly #Rwandans 🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼.
Thank you for choosing Rwanda as your destination. Your visit means the world to us, and we're truly grateful for the opportunity to share our beautiful country with you.
It was BS and not true, I live there for past 3 years and she blowing out that proportion. It’s not that big of deal and some supermarket stores will be packing plastic for your groceries
Our grandparents do speak French so if u good at it good for you ,but adults are more than old people so if you can try to be friends with them, path dey clear 😊
Thank you for your candor. Sounds like a nice developing country, but not a good vacation spot. I like the plastic bag rule. But everything else sounds like I should not inconvenient Rwandans while visiting and spending money in their country.
Try to educate yourself more about the second point, get the story from Rwandans or memorial sites. According to the law in Rwanda, its part of the crime of genocide denial when you reduce the number of the victims to 800,000 when it was way over 1 million, please stop hurting people by recounting their painful history in 100% wrong way. Murakoze.
I mean what exactly does she know about the country???????? When it comes to Rwandan history u should put respect coz some are still hurt and may find it as a denial Thank you 🙏🏾
About the exchange rates: I did not understand: Will smaller USD bills get me a better or a worse exchange rate? Also: Never heard of the dislike of older, perhaps more shabby USD bills. Very interesting!
am Rwandan , point of correction its not about 800 people were killed in tusti genocide , its about 20% of population of that days which was 1M people (tusti) . so thank you for your video , u did best thing .
Carry your trash or keep it the car or just look for the trash bin along the roads and drop it there. Remember dont drink and drive the fine is a pproximately $150 on top of spending time in a cooler
