Big facts... I am a husband and a father now. I do not have 30 hours a week to grind out a Crazy Dynasty. Also, it's over a hundred different teams and over 2 dozen that I am casual fans of I don't have that much time. I'm not in my early 20s in college with free time. My this as easy and fun as possible. I will do a sweatly grind during the holidays. 😂
I don't think a lot of people realize that you can go to the weekly schedule and choose the victor for each game. I used this to get level 50 with all coach tree challenges unlocked and no points spent in 3 seasons then made a save. I bet if you use the same thing to force your desired hc position to lose every game for a year, that job would be available. Feel free to try it and make a vid if it works, I'm not a creator.
I had no clue I could even do this until a couple days ago lol. that's definitely the endgame of this strat but I just feel like it may be almost impossible to make happen. But potentially worth a try!
I figured if you want to coach a certain team you can force. Lose all their games so they fire their coach this at least speeds up the likelihood of an offer. I also use this for recycling coordinators every year when I’m HC since it’s random I just make all the top coordinators teams lose so at least 1 set of coaches will be in my picks
After seeing your first video, I did this exact process and out of my 8 offers I had HC offers at ND, Tennessee, NC State, WVU, and Penn St. So I accepted jobs at WVU, Penn St, and NC State and have a separate file for each, lol. Love the videos, keep up the great work!
I may have to do this just to speedrun weird coaching strats, like making a guy who is a monster in the transfer portal to see if it’s possible to even build a coach that can actually make good teams with big portal classes every year
An exta layer to save a few points if you want is to start as the default UGA coach, then sim until you have enough points to purchase the program builder skill that allows for discounts on archetype. Buy it, then retire and switch to a random coach at another school, then retire again and create a coach to replace the uga coordinator of choice. Then start the process from this video. Its extra "work" but it'll help max out your point usage. Bonus benifit, if both the HC and other coordinator have the archetype, it'll be FREE to unlock with the discount skill active! Also if you time it right you can do the switch before the playoffs and still get the majority of your xp gains for plaff victoris and what not.
You tongue tied yourself, you want us to use the UGA Head Coach then retire (which would make Neil disappear from the game! Continue to retire another random coach then come back (this is where you messed up) and hire a new coordinator when that’s not even the original coaching position that we were using or replacing. Please elaborate so I can do this!!
Retiring as a default coach (one the user didn't create, but just chose to control) just removes the user control, but the coach continues to exist in game. If you created a coach and then retire that coach is removed from the game
Retiring as the 2nd coach I listed is just a way to get back onto the Georgia staff quickly. Game won't let you retire as one coach on the staff then immediately jump to another position on the staff. You have to have a stop in between.
Something I noticed when following these steps: I hoarded my points and only bought the discounted skills before switching schools after two years. Once I got the HC position for my imported alma mater (shout out NWMSU), I spent my points on CEO and the bundle discount and was able to get the abilities I already planned to get at a discount because of my coordinators.
In rivalry games or bowl games when the game is at a different stadium, look at the logos on the right of that game. The home team is on the bottom every time.
Is it cheesy? Sure. But until they fix a few things, especially the changing incoming freshman position bug, it will be fun to mess around with. Great Video.
So here’s the hack i did to get a complete maxed out coach experience. I first maxed out a coach to the exact specification i liked then fired the coordinator i wanted to be. I then retired that coach that coach and took the coordinatpr job and got a discount on the exact tree i wanted
