Front seat, Back Seat, and reverse POV of this powerful Gravity Group wooden roller coaster at Kemah Boardwalk in Texas! Filmed & Edited by Robb Alvey - www.themeparkreview.com
I'm 12 years old born and raised in texas! i live about 15 mins away from Kemah Boardwalk and my first time riding this was so fun, it constantly makes you feel as if you're going to fly off of the ride!! All of you people saying it's too intense for you, i agree, but i love it so much i have now rode it twice! I'm very small, i'm about 57 pounds and i'm only 4'10 and i thought this roller coaster was so fun, you adults need to step up your game!!
0:47 “I swear this is one rough and tough roller coaster” hahahaha 😂😂 I highly agree! Rode this today, after my first ride, perfectly fine, sat in back row, so much damn airtime! Second ride, rode in the front row, very strong g forces throughout! And while I was in the front row with my dad, my head kept jerking left and right, all while traveling at speeds of 51 miles per hour! 😨 man what a fantastic wooden roller coaster!! Nice one Kemah Boardwalk and s/o to #MartinVleminckx (the manufacture who built this fantastic ride).
Man, that back-seat (forward-facing) footage is magnificent! For a minute there, with its relentless, out-of-control speed, I had to remind myself that it wasn't Steel Vengeance!
Well this is ironic. My fiancé and I literally just got back to our home here in Wisconsin last night from a vacation in Texas, and this pops up in my suggested. She and I went to Kemah since we had the CityPass, and given that we both love roller coasters, we gave this one a shot. Surprisingly intense for a wooden roller coaster on a boardwalk. Had a blast at Kemah.
@@katerinakittycat3849 I would rather see GCI retrack it or replace the wooden track with their brand new steel track (keeping the wooden structure obv).
The bullet has been in a 5 year plan to smooth out the ride and to lessen the impact on the riders. Year 3 was just completed and reopening was done this past week (the coaster will be closed every winter for these five years for construction). I rode it opening day and it is much smoother.
DONT HESITATE! RIDE IT! I was so scared to ride this in july and the only part that’s rough is the part after you drop. other than that, it’s completely fine and not uncomfortable. i rode it 5 times after i rode it for the first time. it is definitely in the top 5 of my favorite rollercoasters! ❤️
Rode this last year, and it's as awesome as it looks. The scariest part though is standing in the queue, and seeing the whole structure move and shake when the coaster flies past!!!
Omg I've gotten bruises from this no joke. The ride is so jerky(?) and the safety bar always hits your face and makes your legs repeatedly hit against the inside of the cart(?) lmao I'm sorry this was the only roller coaster I've been on. It's fun but idk kinda scarred from it.
+lynn pham you must have rode the back. The back area is more for those who can handle it. Its fast and ruff. Same goes for any all wooden roller coasters.
I rode it yesterday for the first time and my thighs still hurt from it. also my cousin kept hitting her bottom lip on the thing. i agree with u omfg and my seat belt wasn't even tight so it felt like I was gonna fly off
lynn pham Me too I got on it and oh boi it was scary i got bruises from that and plus my mom was holding my hand so hard I got a bruise ((NEVER LET UR MOM HAVE LONG NAIL CUSE MY SKIN KINDA PELED OFF XD
As much as this ride throws you around it is still a really good ride the airtime is decent and the fun factor is great! Would not compare to astroworld but hey this is better than nothing. (the time I rode it has been recently renovated.)
So yea .. This coaster traumatized my wife and me. Because she experienced the same day-mare that I did. If you are light hearted at all..(as in, you have killed less than 10 people , chew less than 2packs of tobacco a day and like your whiskey any other way than straight and on fire..) then I advise you to steer CLEAR from this coaster. Thanks for listening!
I went on this ride today, and it was SO MUCH FUN!! The hill was so scary, because I knew that at that point, I'd have to face whatever drops and turns awaited. I loved it!!!
Ive ridden it. Yes it's pretty rough, but not painful. The ride focuses on positive Gs. Honestly its one of the most intense coasters I have ridden, and I am still quite surprised by it.
This ride gets refurbisbed annually by M&V and as of June 2020 (when I rode it) it IS the best coaster in Texas imo. It is much faster now than showcased in this POV...AND smoother!
That is the cool thing in general about the back seat(s). Riding nearly a hundred rides on a get-away weekend on coasters in PA at Hershey, Dorney and Knoebels, I've come to really like the front seat(s) - the thrill of getting pushed over hills by the weight of the entire cars-length behind you is a very different experience from the whipped effect on back. They're both great experiences, so you should go for each on all coaster rides.
My daughter and I LOVE this one! Was her first roller coaster and took forever it seems to get her on it! But, once she did.. she wanted to ride it again, lol. I eventually talked her into riding in the first cart, that was it! She loved it so much we plan to go back once the weather is cooler. By the way, best time to ride this is at night!
I always refused to ride this for the 9 years i’ve been going to Kemah (because Indont do rollercoastes especially steep drop ones) but the other day my friend and a guy offering me 5 bucks convinced me and I loved it sm and the drops weren’t even that steep i was so glad it didn’t go straight to a drop after the lift up part cause that would’ve made it 10 times worse
Rode this twice today. I got a headache after the second time, but the ride was awesome! The ride is supper fast and intense throughout. Would definitely ride it again.
You might want to prepare before you go and get on it, my parents got on that coaster and their head and back hurt for the rest of that day, my mom is a BIG coaster fan and she will ride ANY COASTER except for this one because of how painful it is
It is a rough one!! Trust me!! It's fun in a way though too. I've ridin in all the seats now but DONT ride in the back!!! It hurts. Well, to me it does. The middle is ok but the front is the best!!
So I just rode this ride last weekend. It is rough and tough, especially in the back. It doesn't have that big drop that I like, but it is fun. However, I can't do it too many times because then it starts to hurt. The back? Forget it, you'll get a hernia. I plan to take my step-daughter there soon since she has just now crossed 48".
Wow, that's super impressive for a rather small ride as far as height / speed go. Great pacing, looks like a ton of force, and a surprisingly long layout.
I checked my heart rate after riding this coaster and it was up to 166 :p This ride was super fun tho and kinda hurt but whatever I remember walking up the ramp feeling the entire structure shake
It is made entirely made out of wood and some screws×D Believe me when i say it sounds like earthquake is happening when the roller coaster goes above u😂Either way its an amazing ride im happy i experienced it
Whenever this coaster wizzes by when waiting in line the wooden floor and walls vibrate like crazy. I LOVE IT
That was the loudest and intense rollercoster I've ever went to in TEXAS. It was loud af, but it was intense X.x
Lol i rode it 3 times in a day and im hungry for more😂😃
I was quiet the whole time because idk I just blacked out🙈
I guess you've never stood next to Mr. Freeze at SFOT 😂

@@mjexpress6293 Nah, I highly recommend you ride this. It's fun as hell, packed a punch when I rode it.

Same even tho I've never been I I've heard lots of good things about astroworld
What a great video of a fantastic coaster and looking backwards lastly was a real cool trip too!
This one is a neck breaker
well I don't think they're going to RMC it. it's probably a preserved ride. boardwalk coasters are very rare these days
I rode it yesterday
@@katerinakittycat3849 It doesn't make sense to RMC it anyways considering they just built this thing 12 years ago.
@@Cosmic_Cretin why not? It would make a great RMC
@@katerinakittycat3849 I would rather see GCI retrack it or replace the wooden track with their brand new steel track (keeping the wooden structure obv).
もう最高!最高!最高!

ラブ ラブ ラブ💓💏💓
The only coaster where I felt the entrance and the ramp shake from the force of this coaster
I live five minutes away from keamah and I loveeeeeeeeeee the bullet it's the best ride ever!!!!!!!
Ikr i rode it 15 times
XD
It was super scary I lost it
It's a good ride but it hurts
Lucky
This roller coaster jerks you around too much. Feels like you've been in a car accident afterwards.
Wimp
Yeah, it is really jerky but it's still really fun
The bullet has been in a 5 year plan to smooth out the ride and to lessen the impact on the riders. Year 3 was just completed and reopening was done this past week (the coaster will be closed every winter for these five years for construction). I rode it opening day and it is much smoother.
Jorge Vargas ikr I've rode it so many times it hurts sometimes it's like you can't control yourself
Kellan Larson

I went on this. Most terrifying thing ever. It’s made of wood planks, that makes it even more terrifying
ive been on that on it was fast I thought my was going to get knocked of because the wood was so close
Rode this last year, and it's as awesome as it looks. The scariest part though is standing in the queue, and seeing the whole structure move and shake when the coaster flies past!!!

Evan Griffin its pretty fun but then again id ride anything
My head was flipping back in forth side to side and I was screaming bloody murder.
I went on this ride today, and it was SO MUCH FUN!! The hill was so scary, because I knew that at that point, I'd have to face whatever drops and turns awaited. I loved it!!!
Just when I complained that the new wood coasters were too sprawling, this came along. I love small footprints and this is one I NEED TO RIDE!!!
This ride is freaking amazing, and it didn't hurt at all in my opinion, as long as you hold on.
you can tell its good quality from the chain sounds
I Live In Seabrook Right Next To Kemah. I Ride That Like Every Weekend. :D
UnderTemmie so do i
Cbrook!
This was my first rollercoaster... September 30th 2017. I was transitioned looking like a zombie afterwards.
Car crash simulator
Ive been on this ride and let me tell you it was noice 10/10 i love this themepark Kemah Boardwalk is the best
Doesn't seen like it has enough airtime. Too much compact turning, seems like a rib and back demolisher.
Ive ridden it. Yes it's pretty rough, but not painful. The ride focuses on positive Gs. Honestly its one of the most intense coasters I have ridden, and I am still quite surprised by it.
Plenty of airtime!! Come ride!!! You could argue it’s the best coaster in Texas and that’s not just my opinion!!
This ride gets refurbisbed annually by M&V and as of June 2020 (when I rode it) it IS the best coaster in Texas imo. It is much faster now than showcased in this POV...AND smoother!
this roller coaster is amazing ive gotten on it 10739182 times and its amazing especially in the back
Yeah it's best in the back
Its worse in the back. It whips you around at high speeds. Best for the full effect

I rode this with my dad after an astros game and it was insane! It whips you around pretty fast but you don’t even feel it because it’s going so fast.
I always refused to ride this for the 9 years i’ve been going to Kemah (because Indont do rollercoastes especially steep drop ones) but the other day my friend and a guy offering me 5 bucks convinced me and I loved it sm and the drops weren’t even that steep i was so glad it didn’t go straight to a drop after the lift up part cause that would’ve made it 10 times worse
oh also i wish it took a photo at the first drop and not on one of the tilt parts so i could’ve seen how I looked scared and not just chilling
Thanks for all of your great videos, I get happy whenever I look at my subscriptions and see a new video from you.
i have all ready been to kemah board walk twice and im going for the third time next friday!!!! #soexcited
This is my favourite ROLLERCOASTER
I rode it at night
I rode this 4 times back to back with my friends and i was amazing
I know the hurricane took a bite out of it a few years ago, but it still looks awesome. Pretty good coaster for a small footprint.
Rode this twice today. I got a headache after the second time, but the ride was awesome! The ride is supper fast and intense throughout. Would definitely ride it again.
I live in Kemah and recently they sped it up lol so it's even bumpier and faster but I think that makes it better
gr8 to see some more footage of this fabulous coaster, & lots of good offride shots.
Wish a UK park could get one of these badboys...
The best wooden coaster ever!!
So many people leave the line when they hear it whizzing by and rattling the walls of wood. I love this coaster!
I'm actually planning to go here this year! Looking forward to the Best coaster in Houston! Front seat hands in the air for me! Like a bo$$
I went yesterday, it is really fun, the only ride scarier is the drop zone
+Harrison Young looks fun I went here in 2010 I screamed so loud on this :D
Shoejelly34 really? what about the flare
You might want to prepare before you go and get on it, my parents got on that coaster and their head and back hurt for the rest of that day, my mom is a BIG coaster fan and she will ride ANY COASTER except for this one because of how painful it is
I like the kemah boardwalk.
I got on this and dat first drop doe ;~;
Just rode it, my stomach on dat first drop tho ;(
Never seen this POV before...damn this coaster looks awesome. Needa get to Texas next year to hit up all these sweet rides they have now.
Looks like so much fun
A great looking coaster, that has a uniqueness about it. Like the 270 at the top, and the s bends that follow.
This was so fun!!!!
It is a rough one!! Trust me!! It's fun in a way though too. I've ridin in all the seats now but DONT ride in the back!!! It hurts. Well, to me it does. The middle is ok but the front is the best!!
Great coaster. I think it's neat that it goes under the station platform, rather unique.
Need more wooden family coasters!
i went in that ride with my older sister, i really like it and rode it in night time.
I went there yesterday and rode that with my big sisters
So I just rode this ride last weekend. It is rough and tough, especially in the back. It doesn't have that big drop that I like, but it is fun. However, I can't do it too many times because then it starts to hurt. The back? Forget it, you'll get a hernia. I plan to take my step-daughter there soon since she has just now crossed 48".
Wow this really looks fun!
Been on this ride!loved it!!!!💁👍❤️😀😃😄😊🙋👌
Great work, dude.
This is my favorite kind of coaster, the twisters. A lot better than the (for the most part) boring out and backs.
Looks like a nice ride!
Sweet jesus this thing looks intense!
This is faaaasttt ! I love it!
I live in Kemah and this was my first coaster
I loved the ship ride at kemah
This was my first wooden coaster ever!!! Just going through the queue line scared the heck out of me. But other than that, totally worth it. :))
that thing looks bananas!
The last one I've ridden is Skyliner at Lakemont Park. The last new credit I got was Looping Star at Jolly Roger at the Pier.
if you live in houston and you havent been to kemah your really missing out🤟.
I love the bullet! I've been on it before
I rodé it once and ill never do it again

Nice video keep up the good work!!!
I rode this today in the dark at night and I knocked out while riding it 😂
Thais ride is SOOOO fun!!! I going tomorrow
Wow, that's super impressive for a rather small ride as far as height / speed go. Great pacing, looks like a ton of force, and a surprisingly long layout.

THAT RIDE WAS FUCKING AWESOME
this ride was a classic. rode front row
I checked my heart rate after riding this coaster and it was up to 166 :p
This ride was super fun tho and kinda hurt but whatever
I remember walking up the ramp feeling the entire structure shake
I went on this roller coaster 2 days ago it is sooooo fun!!!!!
Ive never been on a roller coaster in the 15 years ive been alive and im thinking of going on it when i go back to kemah
Do it. I'm not sure if Kemah is open right now or when you will be able to go, but next time you do go, do it.
That looks like an amazing woodie
Ill be in Houston in a week!!!
Went on this insane ride today. I forgot about an old back injury until I wrenched it during the ride.
It's not really that jerky, the seat is cushioned but the drops are pretty intense and lift you up a bit if you're skinny. 10/10.
rode it 6 times today. i don't have a scratch on me. ride it if you get the chance!!
This looks awesome *.*
Such a fun ride.
That looks like a fun ride
this rides scary because it looks like its made of wood
diana kittley it is made of wood
Final destination😂scary😭
It is made entirely made out of wood and some screws×D Believe me when i say it sounds like earthquake is happening when the roller coaster goes above u😂Either way its an amazing ride im happy i experienced it
it is
AnUnknownPerson roller coaster
Looks like an exhilarating ride! Is it more intense than Ravine Flyer II? Appears it might be due to the compact layout.
