The first clip of in the front row of the bullet made it seem so much slower than it truly is and made that big drop so much smaller than it is. I usually ride in cart 9 or 10 mostly because I still have a big fear of them. But the bullet his really so much faster than it shows in the video
Tillman Fertitta thanks you for your patronage and reminds you to visit all his restaurants, casinos, hotels and entertainment venues. 😁Joking aside, his family owned a seafood restaurant in Galveston where he would peel shrimp as a kid. When he was 23, he co-opened the very first Landry's Seafood Restaurant on the outskirts of Houston. From those beginnings he has slowly built the Landry's empire into what it is today.
@@Rollback_Productions_ DID GREAT JOB I WISH I HAD FREIND LIKE YOU TO GO ON THESE THINGS. THAT COASTER IS LIKE FROM PAST. VERY ENJOYEN THANK S FOR SHOWEN ME.
I was really surprised by how smooth it runs! I was expecting a car crash and got a smooth but out of control ride that competes for the top coaster in the state! Best wooden coaster hands down in my opinion! Texas Stingray in Seaworld San Antonio is good also when running fast and Switchback at ZDT’s after that I would say for wooden coasters here in the state!!
@@kendivisp1258 well that’s what happens with wood! Been well over a year and a half since I rode it! It was very smooth for a wood coaster after the $1 million retrack 3 years ago
Your right!! It’s awesome!! It’s my fav coaster in Texas! Even over the RMC’s! Excellent pacing and with that wood flying by it feels so much faster than it actually is!!
at 2:46 you point out the observation tower. We have the tallest in the world at the State Fair Of Texas which starts September 30th. It's called the Top Of Texas Tower and it's 500 feet tall.
@@Rollback_Productions_ It's not great as far as rides go necessarily but for an overall fair experience it's pretty amazing even though I've not been to any other affairs loads of people from around the country agree that the Texas state fair is the best
Bullet dispatches were not slow back in 2016,2017,2018 years I was there operating. Broke records during the summer time. And even when it was slow we dispatch within less than 1 to 2 mins. Now it’s like on a slow day you’re looking at 4 to 5 mins on dispatch time. I was there operating rides and was one of the Leads there from 2014 as a ride operator to 2019 as a lead. Left because my time ended and they acted the butt not wanting to Promote me into the position that I rightfully earned. Did my 5 years there in rides department and prior to that had 1 year in admissions plus worked at another theme park as well. Left all of it to work my career. Could have been a full Ride Supervisor and worked myself into Management but they didn’t want to promote. There is other reasons why they wouldn’t promote but I can’t discuss it on here.
I grew up in the area, so I remember when the Boardwalk Bullet was being built. I rode it I think in its first week of operations, and I often swing by the Boardwalk if I'm visiting family on an off day when parking is free. Their upkeep on the ride in insane. Because the Kemah Boardwalk is run by a billionaire (who also runs the Pleasure Pier in Galveston), and they only have room for one coaster, they do maintenance on it every year. It's been through multiple hurricanes, and if anything it runs SMOOTHER now. Great ride.
Best boardwalk coaster I have ridden that's been on the bucket list forever. I rode Cyclone at Coney Island. Idk what it was, but boardwalk bullet reminded me of just that with airtime.
Before we rode it, we had to wait i na loooong line....and while we were in the queue we were getting blasted by the train as it sped by. The floor under our feet shook each time and the sound was insane. Reminded me of Sebulba's pod racer sound from The Phantom Menace as it passed by lol
I didn't check the layout before riding and I did it at night. What an incredible ride! I was so happy getting off this beast.
That’s a good tip! I do the same thing when I feel like a ride is going to be really good. Night rides must have been awesome!
We may not have a full size theme park in the Houston area, but I'm sure glad we got Boardwalk Bullet!

Wow thanks for the history! Quite an interesting one how they ended up with two parks as well!

I wish Tillman can give us a full size theme park in the Houston area since Grand Texas may never happen.
Props to the girl at 22:37 for throwing up the horns!!
She had her thumb out, so she was doing the "I love you" sign.

It’s actually bumpy
I rode it a couple times

Whoa that’s so cool. The Texas State Fair looks pretty legit. I’d love to come experience it sometime

Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. Thanks for posting this.

That’s crazy I remember when we was talking about Boardwalk Bullet, and now you’ve ridden it. It looks really good tho can wait to ride it.
Lmao were we talking about that like right before I left? That’s probably because I was going but I forget lmao
@@Rollback_Productions_ Yea lmao it was during the first time you came for the new Summer Vibes event it was right before you left lol.

Bullet is a much better coaster in my opinion than Cyclone!! You will enjoy it when u come ride!

Road this roller coaster before I'm going to be honest with you. That is by far my favorite roller coaster in South Houston
😂😂. That’s funny!! Isn’t it the only one?!?! Hehe! My fav in the state! 😎👍
I rode on it a few times and it was kinda rough
That coaster.....best $6 I ever spent. Ok, looks like it's gone up to $9 accord to you in the video lol I'd still pay the $9.
Yeah It’s gone up a bit but it’s so good we bought the wristband anyway just to ride as much as we wanted
El toro is never reopening again. Cry
lol. funny.
ITS OPEN!!! 🎉🎉🎉. 👍👍✌️✌️
