For a fan film, the production quality of this is EPIC! I would love to see what you could accomplish with a decent budget. Excellent job and keep at it!
This is top 3 best fan Star Wars short films easy!! Congratulations to you and your team on an incredible wee show!!! I actually enjoyed the characters and the fights were wicked
Was amazing being part of this, and I'm extremely happy with how it all turned out! ❤ beautifully shot and amazing soundwork, and im not sure how everyone looks so good on screen, given we were all dripping with sweat on a 98 degree 99% humidity day in the deep woods😅 Until the next one!!!
Holy shit, the swordplay was AWESOME! This was amazing, so good! I feel like I watched a movie clip. It’s nice the Imps have been winning a few lately.
Wow this is a great story. I really like it. This film is absolutely everything that a Star Wars story needs to have: fun and excitement. I really love the lightsaber battle and the action scenes.
I'm old, not quite as old as Chewbacca but nearly....I'm 50 earth years old. One of the really cool things to witness in that half century has been to see the evolution of the different movies and programmes since the prequels were released. I think we tried a few fan films using VHS camcorders in the 1980s which was fun but we had very little else to work with. In this age of amazingly powerful consumer level equipment and software the outer rim is just the beginning! I liked your production and think setting it in a forest was a nice contrast to harsh imperial settings or scorching deserts....what was on that diskette?
Great job! Although I was wondering, the opening prologue suggests that Elick and his master crashlanded in the opening stages of Order 66, and that this was in 20BBY. Of course Order 66 wasn't issued until 18BBY. Could you please clarify the timeline? Thanks a lot! :)
Clarification is after months of editing ole dingus here (me) forgot BBY moves backwards similar to BCE. So in trying to put it into the beginnings of order 66 across the galaxy I actually moved it a year back from when order 66 took place. Just pretend it says 18BBY and then maybe 50% of the movie makes sense 😂
@@TheA8leeWow, that was an amazing catch. Nicely done, and nicely asked. As a viewer, I really appreciate and respect constructive comments like yours.
This is phenomenal. Disney, with almost unlimited resources, couldn't hold a candle to this. I also really appreciate the fact that the Inquisitor was very competent as opposed to the goofy edgelords we're used to.
The initial lightsaber work was not very good, the group of Jedi was also not very convincing with their stances, etc. But then again, not all Jedi were warriors. The epic duel - with few exceptions - was a lot better, the acting was actually quite good. The scoring as well. What really was outstanding was the cineamatography. Simply great. Diverse and innovative. All in all a very good fan film. Great work! Keep it coming. :)
Mmm, I thought the initial swordplay was ‘acceptable.’ But I was really caught with the duel, I thought it was done superbly well, especially given that there weren’t the dizzying camera angles to speed it up. Their athletic performance was impressive, the swordsmanship lightning fast and accurate. Really, I thought this could have been a movie clip.
We literally hitched a ride on spaceX and flew rc models through the trash heap that surrounds our planet. Blew our entire budget then had to scrounge coins out of our couches for the rest. Seriously, though, it was a talented CGI guy who made that magic (check out the exploding tree branch for more amazing talent). Glad you liked it! Hoping to make more fun for our nerdy eyes to feast on before too long:)
I hate to tell you this Chris… but there are several canonical examples of Jedi indeed running through the forest with fully erect lightsabers… unfortunately we couldn’t afford the speeder bikes
This short is great! Sometimes I wonder what shows like these would produce with a $180 million budget that doesn’t have social political agendas being shoved in the audience’s face.
It was good but the music was a bit too loud, which made it difficult to hear the dialogue. If you make any more of these, please consider either reducing the music volume, increasing the dialogue volume or both.
This is far better than any of the crap Disney have ever made. Kathleen Kennedy would put yous in charge of their next Star Wars film if she had a lick of common sense.
Still confused about the fact that folks don't explode when touched by a light saber... It is contained plasma that is millions of degrees. Anything water based would simply explode on contact.
This was excellent! Would love to see a part 2!
An inquisitor that is not utterly incompetent at his job? Now that is refreshing!
Or at the very least, less incompetent than the Jedi he's hunting.
It was an honor to work in this. Thank you all.
The amount of love in detail in this fan film has not been seen since 2003
For a fan film, the production quality of this is EPIC! I would love to see what you could accomplish with a decent budget. Excellent job and keep at it!
Good stuff. Good space intro and the costumes. And the 8:12 breaking the log midair with the saber, I haven't seen a fan film do that before.
Same! I watched that over about three or four times. I’d have liked to see how that was actually done, it was VERY eye catching and dramatic.
Amazing work! Especially the choreography and rotoscoping!

Fantastic work! Thank you for keeping the true spirit of Star Wars alive
Wow genial, einer der besten Fan filme die ich je gesehen habe.
This was sad, but a very well done film.
This is absolutely incredible! We need more fans creating their own stories! Again, absolutely incredible!

Bring it!
Top notch! Special props to the unique camera work!
Wow!! I am amazed at how good this is! It feels like a story that fits perfectly within this universe!
im very inspired by the inquisitor cape the scars and holes burnmarks incredible!
Wow this is insanely good! Awesome saber effects and sound design whole thing was excellent!
Connor Botts at it again! Great film! Makes me miss making these with you! You’re a legend! Also the acting and effects were great
Holy shit, the swordplay was AWESOME! This was amazing, so good! I feel like I watched a movie clip.
It’s nice the Imps have been winning a few lately.
Very well put together, glad to see the final product. Hope to see some future projects
Fantastic work all around on this guys!
Extremely well done! Loved it!
Wow this is a great story. I really like it. This film is absolutely everything that a Star Wars story needs to have: fun and excitement. I really love the lightsaber battle and the action scenes.
Ya, for sure. The sword fighting was just super!
Great Job! Thank you all I enjoyed it.
Loved being able to portray elick on this project, was so much fun and so much stress and took a few blows to the head but damn it was worth it
Why has this got no comments? You’re literally the star!
Fantastic work! It works be amazing to see what this crew could do with a massive budget and character rights
Amazing.... More of it please.
Honored to play a small acting role in this! In the credits as Nathaniel for those wondering
Nice work, friend. It was an honor to watch.
Now _THIS_ is how you portray the Sith and Jedi. Extremely well done!
That was one of the coolest Star Wars fan films I think I've ever watched
GREAT work. Wish I could be part of something like this. Must of been hard work but incredibly fun to put together.
Well done! Tragic story 😥
This is super cool. Well done. This is the way.
Impressive, most impressive👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Well done. Fantastic Film! I love stuff like this. So tired of the almost 50 years of the Dark Side ALWAYS loosing.
You can thank me for that one 😉 originally i wasnt supposed to die 😅
@@yaboiobie2155 - Well THANK YOU!!!! It turned out sooo much better. Absolutely amazing work.
Yes! Love it when the bad guys win, cuz they’ve won a lot.
Also, love the use of Samuel Kim music!
Lightsaber killed and aint no flowers and unicorns, NON DISNEY SW CONFIRMED. Great job!
😢 just beautiful. Legit, this was awesome. You guys are doing the fandom proud. "This is the way"
BRO THIS IS FIRE BOOOOOOST
Awesome work everyone!!!

Good question, wondered same.
Dang, this was really good!
AMAZING JOB!!
This is really well done
Opening scene... my first reaction, Oh My!! 😮😮
Realy a good piece of work !
Fabulous! Just wonderful
This is like 100 times better than "the acolyte".
Great work !
Most Impressive!
Awesome work yall!
Give us an Hour -…….. this is rad
NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION
It took 21k views for someone to FINALLY say it.
I salute you friend.
@@ChaseStine it was a tragedy I couldn’t let go
Woah… very epic 👀❤
Deserves a full length series on Disney+

Makes 12 mins more enjoyable than a whole seasons worth of Star Wars content.
This is better than anything disney has made. Incredibly captivating.
Amazing job, felt like I was watching a Lucas Film! You should submit to a short film festival!🙌🏾
Good! Good!
Great job!
almost five minutes in and I'm getting more enjoyment out of this than the corporate shills.
This is phenomenal. Disney, with almost unlimited resources, couldn't hold a candle to this. I also really appreciate the fact that the Inquisitor was very competent as opposed to the goofy edgelords we're used to.
I really enjoyed this. Honestly, in my opinion, it was way better than the two Jar Jar Abrams movies.
Just wow

Excellent work by everyone. Shoutout to The Dave Cullen Show's YT channel. He made me aware of this fan film.
I wish i had more nerd in me so i could enjoy these lackluster fight scenes
Wish we had more budget to please everyone 🤷🏼♂️
Awsome work. Is it possible to get a BTS of how the space battle was created?
We literally hitched a ride on spaceX and flew rc models through the trash heap that surrounds our planet. Blew our entire budget then had to scrounge coins out of our couches for the rest.

@@jaredkellar1186 😂😂 I ment a Blender/UE5 or whatever you used BTS (=tutorial), trying something like this myself and your work is astonishing🤩
Of course a couple of Jedi could eliminate an entire platoon... Also the Jedi don't run through forests randomly with their lightsabers ignited.
I hate to tell you this Chris… but there are several canonical examples of Jedi indeed running through the forest with fully erect lightsabers… unfortunately we couldn’t afford the speeder bikes
I never expected the Star Wars Inquisition...
Thanks for this!
2:38 dont worry, hes fine
That's pretty good 😏

how is a fan fic 110% better than a 180 million dollar disney show..
Honestly great film! I felt like much was at stake here and that’s a feeling I did not get the entire Rey saga
almost perfect like 9/10 would be flawless if you hadnt gotten the year of order 66 wrong its 18 bby not 20 bby good job overall though amazong work
ROWan!!!!
You guys did better than disney
Finish`ed and good done!
Good good
Awesome!!!

It was good but the music was a bit too loud, which made it difficult to hear the dialogue. If you make any more of these, please consider either reducing the music volume, increasing the dialogue volume or both.
😊
And Order 66 was an underhanded move. I think the Inquisitors are creating whole Jedi disciples who are weaklings. Sith are crybabies.
This is far better than any of the crap Disney have ever made. Kathleen Kennedy would put yous in charge of their next Star Wars film if she had a lick of common sense.
Red light sabers are missing
Damn, I knew we shouldn’t have added red to the inquisitors costume…
*change the blade to green boys!
well done
Wow!! Excellent !!!
👏👍
Awesome video!!! Can you make a clone wars video?
Prequel anyone 👀😂
This would make George Lucas proud to see.
Хороший фільм, Я спочатку подумав це продовження аКоліту, та ні тут якість вища забагато. тому вподобайка!
Für den Algorithmus

Well done, maybe an x-men short next…
Wow ,,just one thing wrong,,,it needs to be three hours long ,lol not 12 min ,enjoyed. Thank you.
better than acolytes
bit rough in execution but still better than Disney
