    Dude, this is not an SUV, no matter what even the manufacturer says. It’s the “new normal” for cars.

    I believe this individual testing this vehicle is somewhat on the soft side. Probably he may be better suited testing kitchen appliances, blenders, mixers, etc. Definitely excluded coffee bean grinders. Much to noisy and aggressive!😏

      And the piece about the lane assist. Two of the reasons he said he was mainly trashing the car but then in the end still left the score the same. So what was really done was he pulled those pieces out so his credibility would remain intact but didn't give an honest review on the car because that would mean spending more money rather than just editing. There is no way you can say those to items were huge dissatisfaction points about the car, then find out they were actually false, then leave the overall scoring the same. I'm done with this. Like I said, I'll never trust your material after this. This entire video should have been trashed and redone.

    • @TestDrivenTV
      @TestDrivenTV  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Those two items alone don't change the score. Even if the final metric of value and competitiveness where those hits are scored came up to 4 stars, the outcome is still 3.5 overall. It's just not that impressive a vehicle for the price. Maybe worth it at 30k, but at 43k, no. There are a great many better choices in the market place at $43k and ones that are far more likely to be reliable and trouble free.

      @@TestDrivenTV My niece has hornet that she purchased when they 1st came out so she has had it a bit over a year and has currently 24k miles. She has had zero issues. I drove it on a trip home four months ago and was impressed, great power and handling. Very tight no rattles. She dosen't have the track pack so maybe thats why but the road noise is not bad at all. I was so impressed that I actually took a chance and bought a leftover 23 GT Plus with blacktop and tech pack. I got 9.4k off the sticker and had good equity in my trade so the deal was too good to pass up. After living with it for 4 months I kinda think you were a bit harsh. It's very quick, smooth, solid. I also didn't get the track pack so road noise is not bad at all. I do not like having to turn off the auto each time but really? How hard is it to press a button. Maybe a software update changed that? But I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have owned many cars, including some exotics and I have never owned a vehicle that got so many thumbs in traffic or comments in parking lots. Maybe its the gold color but people really seem to like it.

    I like the review Sam thank you...personally (quirks aside) I like it...the idea of a "small" fast hatchback with AWD and decent power from Fiat is "intriguing"...of course this is from a guy who had a 500 Abarth for a few years :)...with that being said I agree with you 100%...those "annoyances" and quirks would get old fast..I think this ride is more of a candidate used or on a lease.

    • @K03sport
      @K03sport ปีที่แล้ว +3

      why is there a start/stop (s/s) on a 4cyl turbo? that was the whole reason for the 4cyl turbo was to use less fuel than a v6. I can understand the s/s on v6/v8 cars, but 3 & 4cyl turbos seems asinine. Max A/C should alleviate the s/s. to me, unless you spend a lot of time in stop-n-go traffic or Starbucks drive-thrus, the s/s system might net you 0.5 mpg...or possibly up to a whole 1 mpg.

The Tonale has a completely different engine (1.3 liter) electric motor and a 6-speed transmission. With such a huge mistake I cannot take anything else in the video seriously. Sorry.

    Lol. I love the track package, on a transverse, FWD based, Fiat Panda. Can't wait to take this on a track day.
    An Italian made dodge will set the lap record... for catastrophic failure.. just like it did on the TFL AWD test 😂😂
    An Italian made, American Car. This the benchmark of reliability, and fit and finish.

    • @Natethegreat200c
      @Natethegreat200c ปีที่แล้ว

      Can I have proof this is a fiat panda or are you trying to be funny ? Just like you idiots to say the renegade is a fiat 500. Just insane bs y’all pull out of nothing. They have dash lights come on on the awd slip test... the car never left them stranded , and it was still able to run and drive ... your just pandering to rumors you hear that are not true. It being Italian or a dodge will not taint its reliability. Both make reliable cars. Checking FIAT and dodge forums and Facebook groups proves this. The only ones who disagree are literally the people who don’t own any car from fiat Chrysler. So your opinions don’t matter as much as say my moms who have been buying their cars for 40 years.

      @nathanielrudolph8771 lolol, you're right. I'm not complaining about any of those.
      Those cars are all great. They don't fail during testing. In fact, they don't fail at all, even after track abuse.
      I hate that they're FWD but the whole internet, and every car reviewer is always raving about them.
      So you're right. I was picking on the Dodge specifically. I was picking on the Dodge, and Fiat, because these are two modern brands with a shining reputation for quality and reliability, and not for building overpriced, overpowered, under engineered, unreliable garbage.
      Butthurt? Deal with it. You like American cars. That feeling will only get worse

    • @Natethegreat200c
      @Natethegreat200c ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sshah2545 well I don’t go off reviews because I’m a man and don’t need ANYONE to validate my purchases. But since you do, I’ll play that game
      The reviews have said it’s not as fun as they EXPECTED it to be and only pointing to dedicated sports SUV models to claim better driving. Open your eyes and ears. The reviews either say they expected MORE of something Kona N like, OR It’s no stelvio. Which DUH it’s FWD not rwd.
      It has a limited slip rear diff, the quickest steering radio in its class and the best most advanced suspension in its class. It’s independent and is frequency dampening. The Mazda has a torsion beam like a Chevy cobalt. So the hornet too is a fantastic car. The cars I do name fail, they just haven’t failed on the video you watched. I can find one of each car I named that has broken down on a owner. I see brand new Toyota doing it on tik Tok and CONSUMER reviews. Honda accords splitting head gaskets and all on 2.0T. Facebook group FULL of them.
      I like American cars? Yup because they objectively give the best. They TYPICALLY give you more features and better interior materials than Japanese rivals.
      Over priced ? You can’t get a coupe the Size for less. You can’t get any of the levels of power it offers for less. Yet you want it for even less ? If your poor just say that. You have no real idea of pricing in automotive if you think DODGE produces cars that are too expensive and under engineered. Any car that can handle 700 HP is engineered great 😂. And they hold up! Haters like savage geese said he hates to admit that. But they are reliable. SAYS The people who run those all day all week track days. They use dodge cars. He’s a Chrysler hater.
      The unreliable thing has been proven untrue for decades. Lol Your lost of you believe a dodge is unreliable. Whenever you see a nitro , liberty , caliber , neon , stratus , 2008-10 grand caravan , old Durango’s and more, it’s proving you wrong. Those cars are everywhere in abundance. Brands that are truly unreliable you don’t ever see old versions of them being driven In mass , yet the most unreliable brands (gm ford and Chrysler) you find old examples everywhere. Your very misinformed and too far into consumer reports and google reviews to be saved. Your lost.
