About the guy sleeping in his car so he doesnt "waste" the companies money: Dont do this. Ever. If a company has a budget for things like this they will always consider it all gone. If you can spend up to x amount of money on smth, always try to max it out. That money is offered with the expectation that its gone, noone will be impressed if you spend less of it, it wont help you get a promotion, noone will care about it. You dont have to feel guilty about spending money that is literally intented for you to spend. Same with things like sick days and vacation days. Dont waste them. this is the reason why some jobs end up being stupid you get someone who went way above the job like worked over time or through breaks and never tell anyone so it becomes what they expect as normal then the person burns themselves out and leaves they expect the replacements to be able to do the same amount of work in the same time of course any new person can never do the same amount of work in the same time and everyone thinks they are lazy so all the new people are leaving all the time and it just creates a problem later down the road sleeping in the car will become normal for the company until someone says nah i'm going to a hotel and they will get hassle and be looked down on
Also sleeping in the car properly means wrinkled clothes and no shower in the morning. If that cost even a single customer, contract or sale it's likely a lot more than 250 bucks.

You get rich if you're born into a family with a good business, enough money to fund your ventures and investments or by having a good idea that can be made into a business. It's either nepotism or dumb luck. Exploiting your workers just accelerates profit. But you can be guaranteed that no rich individuals work particularly harder than anyone else and often once the business is successful they'll work less until the business is practically autonomous and they're just rolling in passive income. The idea of the hard working business entrepreneur from a humble background have always been pretty false. Some of them did have humble beginnings, but working themselves to death wasn't what made them successful. Being lucky and having a good idea was.
One of the executives at my old workplace actually blocked 4 hours each day for LinkedIn and considered it a crucial part of the job. (It isn't). 9:07 nah I'm actually with this guy 100%, I fucking HATE it when people do that. Just tell me what you need to tell me, don't write "hello" and then wait for me to reply
@glencurtis6052 well it isn't, that's the vast minority of people that do that, depends who you have on there as well. Law related posts are nothing of the sort
7:07 does this mean that he doesn’t care what his employees do, if they leave early or are late, as long as they get their job done? Or that he doesn’t give af, do ur job no matter what
2:22 you know what? Fuck it, I'd give him a job. Takes balls, a sense of humour AND it is probably true to some extent which shows he actually does have more drive and capability than most applicants.
2:46 when I was a kid the kid next door liked to pick up coins that people had dropped under checkout counters etc. He probably collected more than $1. Would that count?
You don’t. YEARS ago (2005) I had a job that was 12 hrs/day, 7 days/week. The job paid lunch and dinner, and I was lucky to have a washer and dryer in my apartment. A LOT of people just bought new clothes, and especially underwear. Never again!
9:16 "Digest" my ass, with this kind of person I have to jangle my keys with "hello" to confirm they are available, then slowly feed them ONE question or piece of information at a time, or they WON'T read or respond correctly. If I just send it all they will pick one sentence at random to respond to and ignore the rest! Learned this lesson already.
Can I hire you to record multiple variations of "Generate shareholder value." "Generate value." "shareholder value." and then blast them throughout the office so everyone knows their priorities. I tried hiring the Duolingo owl unfortunately we had a little too much collateral damage with that workplace motivation we still haven't found the heads of finance or sales.
9:15 - I was kind of with this guy until he talked about firing people based on that. Like really, I wish people would just ask a question rather than starting off with a "Hi, can I ask you something" or even worse when they just say "hi". I have reached the point with a few people where I just don't even respond to that, and eventually that just forces them to ask the question they wanted to ask anyway. Just get to the point.
I think it is better to ask if someone is there first or available because if they want or need a response fairly quickly then it sucks to type out the whole message only sit there and wait, hoping for a response. If it's a odd question that can wait till the next day then sure, what ever. Type the message and check back in tomorrow. Asking you if you're available first always saves me time while it only inconveniences you the odd times where you can respond immediately. To me it feels like the guy in the post just values his time more than others and isn't being considerate of why people check if he is available first.
My boyfriend was the youngest by far in the last company he worked for, they went from a 5 day week to a 4 day week and all of the old men were complaining 'what am I supposed to do on that extra day? I'll just wake up early anyway and have nothing to do' like fucking go and live your life 🙃 well they ended up loving it after it was implimented lol
I followed the advice on here and answered the phone with "hi this is Alison " but my name isn't Alison and I'm a man, things went downhill after that!

*I ❤ Georgey poo*
George would have the best Linkedin profile (yes i am a Bootlicker)
I have colleagues that work ridiculous hours. Im talking like, 60 hours a week doing over 12 hour shifts. I think theyre all mad (this in the healthcare sector in the UK)
Steele Clarke Smith the 3rd, they took 3 tries and they still didn't manage to make a decent human being
9:07 nah I'm actually with this guy 100%, I fucking HATE it when people do that. Just tell me what you need to tell me, don't write "hello" and then wait for me to reply
Fun idea: you watch the next spongebob movie it hurt my brain so badly that i feel ima start avting like an toddler
LinkedIn isn't this bad though 😂
It 100% is
@glencurtis6052 well it isn't, that's the vast minority of people that do that, depends who you have on there as well. Law related posts are nothing of the sort
7:07 does this mean that he doesn’t care what his employees do, if they leave early or are late, as long as they get their job done? Or that he doesn’t give af, do ur job no matter what
Charlie Scene vibes
"I don't expect everyone to work as hard as Elon Musik" you're in luck. The guy hardly works at all
2:22 you know what? Fuck it, I'd give him a job. Takes balls, a sense of humour AND it is probably true to some extent which shows he actually does have more drive and capability than most applicants.
Press ctrl+shift+alt+windows+L = be amazed
2:46 when I was a kid the kid next door liked to pick up coins that people had dropped under checkout counters etc. He probably collected more than $1. Would that count?
One of my local coffee shops does have 9$ cups of coffee. And that's without tip.
george why did you recoil backwards at the very end of the video
In a 70 hour work week where would you have time to buy groceries and clean your home.
You don’t. YEARS ago (2005) I had a job that was 12 hrs/day, 7 days/week. The job paid lunch and dinner, and I was lucky to have a washer and dryer in my apartment. A LOT of people just bought new clothes, and especially underwear. Never again!
11:58 notice they’re pro-AI
7:05 she can't be a boss when she can't write coherent sentences
9:16 "Digest" my ass, with this kind of person I have to jangle my keys with "hello" to confirm they are available, then slowly feed them ONE question or piece of information at a time, or they WON'T read or respond correctly. If I just send it all they will pick one sentence at random to respond to and ignore the rest! Learned this lesson already.
im so glad i started an ecommerce business and quit working for cringe companies like this lol
I found an account for John Barnes that's quite funny
10hr a week 1m salary would be £2k per hour...
The one thing everyone wants to hear from their boss 8:53
GeorgeM sir i request a lego set collection video for my lego loving internett family
George please react to Gen X
My boyfriend was the youngest by far in the last company he worked for, they went from a 5 day week to a 4 day week and all of the old men were complaining 'what am I supposed to do on that extra day? I'll just wake up early anyway and have nothing to do' like fucking go and live your life 🙃 well they ended up loving it after it was implimented lol
nice video
I can’t believe George skipped over the biggest red flag at 8:37, the rest of it was just funny but “obedient”??? 💀
6 day 12 hours days but want people to get married and have children
Does anyone know what part of UK George is from? Wiltshire?
I followed the advice on here and answered the phone with "hi this is Alison " but my name isn't Alison and I'm a man, things went downhill after that!
HELLOOOOOOOO !!
GEORGE MEMEULOUS !!!
HAVE A NICE TEA !!
Having a LinkedIn profile is a red flag for relationships. Its symptomatic of being a sociopathic work addict.
or.. someone who wants a job?
What!? I spend work time doing my LinkedIn stuff, and it’s a few mins a week.
Not really tbh
You're unironically fucked in the head if you genuinely believe that statement and weren't just baiting replies. Find the source of your brainrot with some introspective analysis and fix yourself.
Who upvotes this nonsense lmao, having a LinkedIn profile is crucial to getting a job as almost all recruiters nowadays primarily use LinkedIn to find candidates and employers will check a candidate's LinkedIn profile before they read a resume
