Missed opportunity to walk in front of Mr Beast mid-interview to look into the camera and promote Sour Boys and how they're so much healthier than Feastables.
I adore oompa, but Jimmy was really calculating with this. We were all aware that Oompa wouldn't actually challenge Jimmy's arguments. Jimmy should do an interview with Coffee.
prob bc like he said in the beginning it's not supposed to be a argument/got ya and just supposed to be for info on jimmys response to it hence the name
Sure I agree. It wasn't too softball. I could still watch it. I always regarded Mr. Beast as just kind of a negligent business owner at worst so maybe I'm biased.
I mean the point if the video is “Mr Beast’s response”, it isn’t “grilling Mr beast on everything.” Like Mr beast said, he could’ve just made a video addressing things, but he’s doing this instead
Then you get into the areas of if everyone's integrity has a price, and you're right I feel as though Coffee is one of the few that couldn't be bought but who knows? Joe Rogan said he'd never have trump on his show but if you add an extra zero to the check then things look a lot different
what mr beast actually means: I can make up waffled answers to cover everything And Coffezilla would never allow that. actually got linked here from him, and i apreciate how oompaville's interview style compliments Coffe's

… I notice the “Delaware” section doesn’t address whether or not he knew/whether Delaware is a RSO, just addressing why Mr. Beast called him that name.
This video absolutely confirms why Jimmy didn’t want Coffee to interview him. Oompa had absolutely no pushback on Jimmy’s answers and just took it at face value. If it was Coffee, Jimmy would’ve been on the fences with his responses
At the very end pay attention to his eyebrows. When he doesn't have Jimmy looking at him you can see his squint and concentration when he's avoiding the question. Oompa knows. If he pushes back Jimmy could leave at any point, and we would never have gotten his flimsy responses that show he doesn't have a valid address to his mistakes. I'm frankly surprised he was able to ask the questions that he did from a man who wants to play the safe route and not admit it. He paid a law firm, so I can't say anything in regards to those allegations, but the crypto needs to be dug into, and his charity work needs regulation. The records for his sins cannot be cleansed there.
One big question that wasn't answered - If Mr. Beast is so focused on doing the right thing why did he partner up with Logan Paul? Logan still hasn't paid the Crypto Zoo scam victims and has even sued Coffeezilla. And not to mention all the other countless controversies and scandals. If i was Mr. Beast i wouldn't even associate with Logan Paul.
Mr. Beast would never do an interview with Coffeezilla. I respect Oompa and am happy he is getting more respect, but there were many points throughout the video that he isn’t pushing back on. Coffee would never let some of these answers slide. Like every time Mr. Beast would say “whoops, my bad.” (Playing ignorance) Coffee would never let that slide. And honestly, playing ignorance is what KSI and Logan Paul did in the past. The fact that they are associated with each other speaks volumes.
totally agree, love oompa but as he said himself he isnt a journalist and he isnt an interviewer, someone like coffee would have gotten way more in depth and pushed back
100% facts, MrBeast only responds to people who are on his side or doing the lesser accusation of him (both of them means they want MrBeast money) to get away from his allegations
Exactly, like what's the point of an interview if it's just Mr beast saying the same things he told soggy to say in his video 😂 we don't care that dogpack said some lies what we do want to hear about are the allegations that still have yet to be proven false.
What this and the Dogpack videos have taught me is that if I ever get into a scandal, I should make sure Oompaville interviews me so that I'm thrown softball questions.
this comment doesn’t phrase this correct It’s not soft ball questions, it’s a softball interviewer Not pushing questions, not asking anything else, just what’s this oh ok move on
You all want to see Jimmy get absolutely grilled while he tries to give his side of the story but had no issue with DogPack being brought on 3 times and not getting any pushback once even though we now know he was straight up LYING. Just be honest and say you NEED Jimmy to be a bad guy because if he’s not then it means you let yourself be fooled and your ego couldn’t take that.
@definitelynotlebronjames443 Do all your feelings need justification? Wasn't aware I was publishing a peer reviewed paper. Do you want a sources list too?
@@wonderlanddreamer1021 It’s not about publishing anything. If you go out of your way to type up a statement, you should be ready to defend it. And about your first statement, this isn’t about feelings. If you believe one way, be ready to give an explanation as well.
No offence to oompa but id like to see this interview done by somebody like coffezilla who WILL press mr beast about the allegations and crypto scams etc. Not being a journalist and nice doesnt do justice against jimmy
@@Prod1jbtc honestly I think Mr beast picked him bc he knows oompa trys to get along with ppl he interviews and bc oompa always hears ppl out, I think he wanted a yes man, I believe some of its true that he's saying but he's dodging and shifting the blame on most questions
Mrbeast himself didnt even reply to his questions via text where he could gather his thoughts and consult others. What makes you think he'll go in and do an interview with a genuinely intelligent and very knowledgeable person whos investigated him. Itd be career suicide to argue your innocence against coffezilla when the subject matter is crypto and dude has published a vid on you😂
friend now, stop crying, mr beast beat dogpack404, you can't take down such a famous youtuber XD let it be, better focus on your life and not on others, selfish }
Think he already covered basically everything in his most recent video after his own interview with Mr beast. Honestly in that video, he was treading the line to journalism, the dude cooked on that
Mr. Beast talking about his crypto history is the shadiest part of this interview. You can't tell me the man that has himself claimed to have figured out social media and has pioneered tactics to absolutely maximise engagement didn't expect people to buy a token he was interacting with publicly. In the past he would have bragged about such tactics, but now he's apparently clueless
lets not forget he is working together with logan paul also a known crypto scammer now and a scumbag and scammers/scumbags do tend to stick together until they are scamming each other or being scumbags to each other while other content creators avoid logan paul at all cost so why cant mr. beast do that and i feel like whatever defends jimmy do on this interview means fully nothing becuase actions say alot more than words and his current actions is colab. with logan paul for years EVEN after it has got exposed(multiply times) Logan paul is not a "nice guy"
Hearing Jimmy speak in legal jargon is super disheartening, you are correct he is definitely mincing his words a lot in the interview, he refutes essentially every allegation but will then say “I’m not perfect, there were issues” but would then not mention any issues, Mr “I’m trying to be transparent here” didn’t actually establish any facts.
to be fair, he wasn't the one running the pump n dump (/scam) he was just benefiting from it. At worst he's done insider trading, but it's not even illegal to do insider trading with crypto.
On the topic of the “No doesn’t mean no” policy: Jimmy, I read the entirety of the document (three times over and I’m ready for my test!) and it’s not the context or lack context that’s the issue- it’s the wording. There were so many better ways to phrase that policy that weren’t a word play on the “No Means No” movement. It was as if it was written in a way to make light of the name of the movement, and when you make light of a name, it’s like you make a joke or you’re not serious about the movement itself. The problem wasn’t “lmoney hungry commentators who wanted clicks, because I know that I’m not one of them. I make no money, I read the whole thing, and I think it was worded very poorly. I wish Oompa would have pressed back a bit harder in this, but I understand that he may have found out about this opportunity with little time to prepare.
Some examples of how to phrase that section better could be: “We always find a solution” “Be a problem solver” “ How to work with a 3rd Party Company on ‘No’”
Who cares about the name though? It's got nothing to do with any consent policy, it's just an old cliche of sales tactics. No doesn't mean no in sales, it's a fact.
Honestly terminology like this is incredibly common in the sales industry, and it's more likely he didn't think anything of it. Any call center will teach you exactly this.
You just want to be mad. It’s wild. The context doesn’t matter is the stupidest thing ever, it is what is wrong with so many people who just react to headlines without ever reading into an article. They take sensationalist propaganda and even when the truth is shown to them it doesn’t matter because their feeling are what matter most even when they are based on imaginary slights.
I really don't think anyone cares about CGI, raccoons, antichrist and mould - the crypto stuff and promotion of gambling are the actual serious things. Re: beast games stuff - it's implied it's all his money and he comments he could just take the money and buy a mansion..... from what I understand this is Amazons $$$ and there is no way he could've just done that.
I love Oompa, but I noticed that he always takes the side of whoever he is interviewing which makes him seem like an unreliable and indecisive interviewer.
I'm not that familiar with Oompa, but there is an interviewing tactic that some interviewers use; "radical empathy". If you express empathy towards what they are saying they are more willing to open up more.
I dont see how you can say he took Jimmy’s side. He asked all difficult questions to Jimmy. He didnt give him very many “outs” or many easy ways to shift blame. It wasnt hostile, but certainly no cake walk for beast.
Yeah I'm definitely seeing why Coffee should've been doing this interview. Oompa is just asking questions and letting Jimmy answer raw, which isn't necessarily bad, but a topic like this should be handled like a prosecutor asking questions, pushing for actual answers, and correcting blatant manipulation and/or lies
@@alex_thegreatt07av71 If mr beast doesn't actually answer a question and just misdirects then the interviewer should have him clarify and explain it correctly. oompa doesn't know most of the specifics by heart so when mr beast blatantly lies he doesn't call him out on it. Which happens throughout the interview over and over.
To save you 2 and a half hours.. oompa: Why did you do that? Jimmy: Idk, it was management… but people have done a lot worse so it doesn’t actually matter.
Если это единственное что ты вынесла из этого интервью, то тебе действительно не нужно было тратить 2 часа на него. Идиоты так и останутся идиотами и продолжат верить тому что сами напридумали
Would like to see this kind of interview with Coffeezilla moderating. Oompa did fine, should have asked more pressing questions especially about the evidence Coffee detailed in his video.
@@arielfortes472 what did you expect? Oompa had like less than 24 hours to prep for this interview and this drama has been going on for nearly 4 months personally I think he did well considering that
1:07:16 made me so anxious. I 100% understand his take here, but talking over/interrupting Oompa over and over again and calling him gullible felt really odd seeing as he is actively trying to help this man dig himself out of this hole lol.
He had to let people go because of funding cuts and he was clearly affected by the effect it had on the families... plus it's literally about defamation, and that's important for public figures to take seriously. If someone has a strong opinion regarding something, it makes perfect psychological sense for them to get heated about it. That's my take at least 😔🫶
@YTTamago He is not in a hole for views, but sponsors and brands were less likely to invest in his projects and charities. This hole was arguably deserved because he didn't do anything for PR to amend these issues until now, but it is not entirely true to say he isn't in a hole due to maintaining his view count.
Only an hour in, but it's very clear why Jimmy has chosen Oompa and not someone like Coffeezilla to conduct the interview. He's not really investigating and asking deeper questions, it's more like a chat with two cool dudes -to clarify, "the cool dudes" is describing their casual and laid back attitude towards the things addressed, not that they are "cool"
There's a loooott of questions that weren't asked. What about the removal of comments on his videos about the accusations? What about the discord conversations? Why did Jimmy get the one investigator that is known for helping rich people with problems they want to avoid? The entirety of stuff addressed by Rosanna Pansino? And I'm sure I'm missing something that needed to be asked. I was glad that this response came out. But I was disappointed in the two and a half hours more of a banter not actually going over everything that happened. No disrespect to oompaville, you're amazing and I'm glad you got to do the interview, though it would have seemed more genuine if MrBeast made a response on his own channel. Again, no disrespect for oompaville. ❤️✌️
Supposedly, I don’t know if it’s true or not, but mr beast owns part of oompas channel which I can see as a reason for a lot of stuff not asked or edited out.
I dont get why these "Chonically online hater" people exist. I mean, ain't you watching the video? Why are you watching? Clearly you care about the topic if you're watching the video
Love oompaville, but it is clear that Mr. Beast was in charge of the narrative, no pressing questions or pushing back on light answers and didn’t really scratch more than the surface. It’s clear why Mr. Beast was not interviewed by the likes of Coffezilla
My favourite part of this video was when Mr. Beast jumped out of the private jet and said “It’s beasting time!” and beasted all over the studio Also Subscribe to Mr. Wigglesworth for a cookie 🍪
Okay, even if his name was Delaware working at bestbuy, you still had a convinced molester part of the show, Why jimmy doesnt see that it is wrong, is insane.
Or just, watch the video and see if it's still true after the end of the video Idk what to think yet, but I'll come back in 2 hours (after watching the video)
@@leontriestoartthere is many untrue allegations its seems, but there's less severe ones that are just undoubtedly true. And lets not forget he is still partnered with logan paul which speaks for itself. Only saying this because i already know people are gonna jump on the "mrbeast is completely innocent" train
A real actual apology would be taking accountability for the actions and throughout this entire interview it was excuses excuses excuses, I find it interesting how at 1:07:00 - 1:08:00 Jimmy just states that Oompa was being manipulated by dog pack and how he’s so correct about everything and then continues to manipulate the narrative throughout the entirety of this interview, I’m honestly so disappointed in the interviewee and the interviewer
I don’t blame him, imagine how much cash was exchanged for this interview. cash always wins and despite what the comments thinks, none of us would have done any differently
I cant believe Im actually leaving a comment on this as I really know very little about the context of what this is actually even about, BUT @11:00 what that guy Jimmy says is not entirely true, a hired law firm/lawyer Is NOT Required to report something "illegal" to authorities "most things at least" as its protected by attorney-client privilege. Sorry that's my 2 cents lol
@What MrBeast said *could* depend on the specific circumstances of the case. It is true that attorney client privilege protects a lot of communication, there are exceptions, especially if a crime is actively being committed or if there’s a legal duty to report certain things (like in cases involving child safety). Also, law firms representing companies might make investigations to protect the company itself, which could include voluntarily disclosing certain findings to authorities. It’s not as black and white as “lawyers don’t have to report illegal things.”Context matters, right?
@@Millard10293 Oh I agree with you 1000%, hence I said not "entirely true" & also "most things at least", I know an ongoing crime, involves serious harm to others, which falls under "crime-fraud exception" where the lawyer is used to further a criminal act, etc. I was saying that it's not a blanket statement "They find some wrong so entitled to report! As you said perfectly "It's all about context"... But I really want to emphasize I know VERY LITTLE to what this issue is, and the accusations that are being said! But @millard10293 Wel Said!
@@Millard10293 I agree with what you said in your comments 100%! Hence my reasoning for saying "Not Entirely True" and also other statements "Most things at least".. I do know exceptions to that standard, like what you mentioned, and in cases where there is an ongoing crime, or involved serious harm to others, or falls under the "crime-fraud exception" where the lawyer is being used to further a criminal act or commit Perjury! I was just getting to, the lawyer having to report authorities is not a blanket statement! But always have loopholes! But what you stated is spot on! Lastly, I honestly have very little to no context to any of these accusations, obviously as a man in his mid 40's with a teenage child I am very aware of the name of this person, but have no attention nor want to persuade one way or other, just wanted to clarify that statement!
The multi-million dollar law firm he paid millions of dollars is definitely not going to call the police on him regardless of what they find. It would be terrible PR for their business.
It feels like the allegations were not blatantly addressed. Like “can you talk about the HR situation”. The question should’ve been about the claims of abuse. Answering everything with “idk what to tell you” or “you just believe me or you don’t” really doesn’t answer anything. It’s like, if all these lawyers did these investigations, how are there no real answers to the abuse allegations. I feel like I wanna be on Mr beast side here but he’s not making it very easy.
true. this was all softbaIIs and they skipped so many issues like the fake signatures on tshirts, the discord chats, the Iies about the croatian city or the racoon, the not paying Mission Flights for eye surgeries...
His answers are literally "I didnt know I swear" and "I was young" and after everything that has come out it just doesnt cut it. He has been acussed time and time again of being a liar who is fine with lying. Not sure how this would prove he isnt? He has waited and waited and this is the BEST he could do? YIKES. I don't know. It feels like I'm watching Oompa kiss the ring. There are so many times when Mr. Beast just talks over oompa trying to steer and manipulate the narrative without being challenged or stopped. From 01:08:39 to 01:09:19 it really feels awkward hearing Caleb praise Jimmy and not being an objective interviewer. It's like the popular guy telling you "I didn't anything wrong" and you agreeing and barely questioning why cause he's finally talking to you.
I think Mr. Beast choosing to be interviewed by someone lacking this level of interview training was strategic. Oompa should recognize there were connections and questions that should have been pressed further in proper interview fashion. I think Beast took advantage of his influence in going to a smaller creator that can be overwhelmed to hyper focus on his very concerning allegations instead of a professional interview with a trained professional that can dig into the dirt and find the truth. This environment gives Mr beast the metaphorical high ground in an interview where he is mentioned to be under a microscope and picked apart (as this is what journalism entails).

The things I was unsatisfied with: - Oompa should've pushed more on the illegal lottery, since all of the information we have about it shows that IT IS illegal. Mr. Beast at least should've explained why it isn't instead of just repeating that it isn't without anything to back it up. - In the lunchly segment or when Oompa mentioned the Logan Paul lawsuit, he should've asked about the Mr. Beast's association with Logan Paul. For a guy that tries to be ethical, it is really bizarre to team up with somebody that had so much controversies over the years, with almost all of them if not all being based on not so moral stuff he's done... - There should've been a talk about the marketing of lunchly that essentially creates a false picture that lunchly's are a healthy food. There is a whole Dr. Mike video about it.
There should’ve also been just some pushback when Jimmy said his “No doesn’t mean no” policy was taken out of context when the example the policy gives is to literally harass as many people as possible to get access to a store.

I personally feel like this interview didn’t hit the meat of a lot of the claims that people were making. One of the main issues with Jake’s situation is that when people are given these opportunities they feel like they cannot leave.
Yeah I was hoping they were gonna get into the specific stuff that dude had said before about feeling manipulated or whatever but the crying and sobbing to me personally always felt really fake tbh 😬 I was hoping we’d at least get unedited footage of some of the isolation video thing in the doc but there really was just 90% deleted Reddit posts
The US is such a dystopia. Putting people in debt for wanting an education and then having a billionaire offering money to such desperate people for entertainment. And if any harm was done, it was the victim's fault for signing up or not dropping out. It's his fault for wanting to escape crippling debt and have a chance at life.
This is why he chose Oompa and not a harder-hitting channel. He picked someone who wasn't likely to deny him an interview, he picked someone who wouldn't pushback.
I know it’s hard to interview someone face to face especially over controversy like this, but there really needed to be more pressing questions asked, not just a baseline “did I bring this up?” You basically just let Mr. Beast come on to your channel and say everything he was going to say on his own couch, while admitting to your face this is more comfortable (and beneficial) for him. Directly ask him if it was him in those “work” chats, and if so, how is it possible he wasn’t aware of Ava’s proclivity to joke about minors. Ask him why Logan Paul and KSI as partners for Lunchly-he’s too dumb for crypto but his partners aren’t, so does it make him feel uncomfortable or regrettable at all working with them? What does he think about their methods of addressing the Lunchly controversy? Nice to see you get a video out on this, and just want you to improve on future interviews!
I don't like how much the goal post moves, this covered everyones most major problems but now people say it didn't cover the "real" problem they had all along that was hardly mentioned over the other drama
he isn't them... he isn't ksi nor Logan Paul. it's 2 massive youtubers collaborating because they both have food products. 2 people working together buisness wise is completely irrelevant to anyone else's but his own past. He doesn't see an issue working with them because there is no issue in working them.
@@thoughtfulconundrum he responded on reddit /user/oompaville: "CJ no longer exists. I bought out my contract in January 2024. It was also a borderline scam. At the very best an extremely predatory business. Also in any of these contracts, it’s not a traditional business relationship. They have no say, it’s a glorified loan that calls itself an investment to avoid usury amendments in state constitutions lol". "The business model they HAD, they no longer exist, was predicated on giving “investments” to creators. In reality they were just run of the mill business loans that use channel Adsense as collateral. The reason it’s called an investment is to avoid usury laws. It’s just a hard money lending that understands how TH-cam works. I don’t know anything about CJ aside from the one guy I talked to, who I’m still friends with to this day. I never spoke to anyone, I just needed money to start my business."
Well oompaville, don’t know how to feel about you because I don’t know if you’re purposefully assisting jimmy or if you were foolish enough to be used by him. Regardless do better.
It is sooo funny that mr. Beast is complaining about censorship on reddit, when he and his team literally censored and removed a looot of comments on yt 😅
It's very strange oompa didn't challenge him up on that (Or literally anything so far as I'm watching it) He just asked a question and then agreed with the answer giving him reassurance he's right
I thought of this too then I thought of the fact that they were told not to say anything and therefore defend themselves from comments that may have done more damage. I get it kinda.
This interview feels like Oompa is talking to someone on Mr. Beasts Team not even the man himself. Really calculated and in this no pressure environment nothing got done
@@ellemax4605 Even if they were what's the problem. If you want a thorough response you'd want him to prepare answers right? Afterall a lot of the controversy was done by his company without his knowledge so it's not insane that he gets caught up first.
oompa needs to ask hard-hitting questions and drill him, jimmy is getting away with tip-toeing the prompts with anecdotes, side tracking, then using that diversion to soften the point at his conclusions.... Oompa did better than the mess SoggyC & DogPack did-but this is pandering. We left with what we started. Everything is so dismissive. Im shocked some topics were brushed off like nothing... but its exactly what ive seen first-hand in the industry for over 6 years
His point about Delaware was wild, they kept him on payroll after discovery. And the COO Lacoya dude getting promoted sideways when his assistant filed a complaint
ok so i'm not dumb for seeking more from mrbeast's answer. 20 mins in and it's like oompaville is just letting him speak/answer without much clarity or specificity.
I've recently become a fan and consistent viewer of Oompa, I enjoy his usually unbiased / hands off approach to topics he finds interesting, but this was clearly the one of the weakest videos he's put out, he didn’t even need to be in the shots to be honest. There was zero Oompa thoughtfulness in it. This was Jim just answering what was likely pre-shared questions que ran through his legal team for damage control and no sincere exchange.
the way jimmy acts like a "clueless normal dude" really rings alarm bells for me. He is incredibly wealthy and has access to resources (eg. professionals in relevant fields) to gain whatever info he needs.. yet he frames himself as "oh its like my first time so i didnt really know what i was doin yuno" uh huh.. sure u didnt bro. You had people in your ear every single step of the way telling you exactly how to best approach the situation.
Exactly, he states multiple times he isn’t aware of anything basically. And if there was a mistake his team or employees didn’t bring it to his attention how could’ve he known since he has multiple companies. lol He knows exactly what he’s doing. He should be called Mr. Deflect from now on.
The other thing that bothered me was the way he spoke to Oompa like he has no idea how a business works and the responsibilities of running a business or having people rely on him for jobs and being paid. Like sure Oompas businesses are smaller in scale, but it doesn't take a business professional to acknowledge and see the negligence that Mr beast has when it comes to his company's. I hate that he spoke down on Oompa when all Oompa was trying to do was create a space where he can acknowledge and admit his wrong doings. Instead of saying he was manipulated and believed lies when Caleb has stated multiple times in so many videos that he tries to be as unbiased as possible.
Not sure i completely agree, I imagine someone in Jimmy's position is constantly learning, and you're grouping his mistakes or dumb things he's done at the start of his career, to the stuff he does now. He has, and was always going to make dumb decisions when starting out. whats is important is whether he has shown that he wants to improve himself so these things don't happen again.
Didn't all this happen when he was getting started, I think you just want to believe he's this evil mastermind rather than a normal dude who largely lucked his way into success.
This interview is really funny. Oompa asking a question, Jimmy answers it however he likes then Oompa is like alright, you’re totally right, let’s move on to the next. There was no argument, no deep diving, nothing. Also there were so many questions left out. Waiting all this time to come out with a weak response like this is ridiculous.
What a literal waste of time & oxygen ... no push back, just let him LIE & OMIT ... If your goal was to perform journalism you clearly not only failed but missed the whole point of journalism further than if you had aimed for the moon & ended up on Pluto.
Oompa, with all due respect, the first half of this interview was absolutely nothing. You folded really fast whenever Jimmy would dodge questions, or you'd play devil's advocate and build the leeway for him to jump into, on every single question. The only actual answers we got were hearsay or things that Soggy already debunked prior. Sure you can say we got his perspective and you may claim that was the point of your interview, but that doesn't hold much value when you are answering for him, or that you don't keep him tracked on the important details. With Coffeezilla, the important thing was why Jimmy took credit for something he also says he holds no control over, and also why he would promote it on Twitter and then pull out afterwards. Unlike Dogpack, Coffeezilla has high journalistic integrity, and his part was glossed over so pathetically. Granted I had to give up after 1:20:56, but that's also a long time of hearing absolute nothing worth talking about.
I'm 9mins in and just came across your message, thank you for this as I don't need to watch anymore, I'm already sick of this interview, love oompa but this is awful
I didn’t really feel that anything about the coffee video was a smoking gun. All it really was, was saying the wallets had a connection to him, which he admits, and that he might tell his guy about some things he might be interested in. I feel that this is anything anyone does with the stock market as well, you might put most of your money into a non volatile S & P 500, but then have some very volatile stocks you mess around with or are more specifically interested in.
8:12 are we all forgetting that MrBeast censors anything even remotely eluding to the drama from his comments section to this day? You can't complain when you do the exact same thing

I find it really odd and kind of funny how Caleb tries to act a lot more tough over the phone to jimmy as opposed to when jimmy was sitting next to him. I also find it odd how the more "hard hitting" questions came over the phone.... They just conveniently forgot to talk about shadman when jimmy was there, arguably the most disturbing thing in all this? It feels like the watched the film back realized oompaville looked like a massive yes man and decided to have him go ask real questions and be a big boy so the video doesn't look like a massive PR stunt
I'm guessing there was some sort of agreement between them related to that. Oompa gets to post a video that's guaranteed to go viral, and MrBeast gets a ton of softball questions (that I'm assuming he was given in advance) without any pushback.
Coffee wrote most of the phone questions. The face-to-face also clearly took oompa way out of his comfort zone. Beast 100% calculated this to be the most favorable interview
As an ex salesman and small business owner, I immediately understood the “no doesn’t mean no” policy. We have something similar. The mistake here is that he called it “no doesn’t mean no” in 2024. It’s very similar to the concept of “don’t take no for an answer” in sales. I realise how bad this sounds, but the wording is simply old. What it means is that people naturally say no to offers, and a sales person should attempt to explain the benefits to the prospect until he has enough information to take a decision. Better wording would be “provide and gather all information before giving up the negotiation”, but that doesn’t sound as catchy. PLEASE dont tell me I’m glazing. I’m just providing some context, I don’t know if this applies to Jimmy or if he meant it in a bad way
I wish you pushed and prodded him and didn’t accept his answers at face value. His responses with “oops sorry” like, KSI & Logan had the same responses when they blatantly have done scams and other scummy stuff. The fact he’s associated with them and created a product and business with them two says volumes. It was a great interview but it didn’t capitalise on his answers. It was very yes man esc which was extremely disappointing. Congrats though. You convinced me to finally watch a video with mr beast in it.
@@Pilpsleast he responded to something There could have been no interview Idk imo his answers felt genuine I just see a lot of people commenting yesterday without watching at all
1:58:40 - “Obviously, when I was a teenager I didn’t know what a background check was.” EXCUSE ME? WHAT! When I was 13, I knew what a background check was. Jimmy was 19 at the time. That’s inexcusable. I wasn’t gonna comment on this video because of just how much there is to unpack and I know there will be commentary TH-cam videos on this interview, of course, and they will be able to articulate all of this a lot better but all I gotta say is this: Jimmy claims ignorance for a lot of these *very* serious allegations and proven facts (such as the Delaware situation)… He claims ignorance so much, it’s not accidental ignorance, it is purposeful. He’s been in the game long enough to know the rules. When you know the rules you can break and bend them a lot easier.
It should be noted that, if someone makes a clear killing in views by making some potentially allegations (mostly baseless ones) about one of the most popular people on TH-cam... It will stir up a whole cauldron of dramatic reactionaries and it is guaranteed that people will bandwagon to make those claims too... There is something to be gained from it. Attention, clicks, sympathy etc. Obviously. Even if the initial claims are true, a metric fuckton of people will jump in and make claims that they were also affected by the big bad TH-camr. Etc. Without hard evidence it is just a bunch of people spewing hearsay.
If he was really innocent, he'd talk to someone more critical. The man deliberately went into business with Logan and KSi in 2024 and that tells me EVERYTHING about his principles.
We can talk about what we think his principles are all day, that doesn’t mean someone is automatically guilty of committing crimes or that he’s automatically guilty of anything anyone accuses him of right? I have no horse in this race and I haven’t watched the whole thing yet, but we listened to one side and now we listen to his, that’s how this works
It’s very thought out imo. He knows who will and won’t challenge him. This guy is far too laidback. Very very unfortunate. People will see this and go “oh he did an interview, he’s clear, end of story!” We need somebody that will actually do an interview with him, not a friend…
@@melogavenueoompa was accused of being a MrBeast glazer for some time. That's why he had dogpack on to hear the other side. Now he is having MrBeast on. He just seems very non-confrontational. Sure I agree. It wasn't too softball. I could still watch it. I always regarded Mr. Beast as just kind of a negligent business owner at worst so maybe I'm biased.

Some examples of how to phrase that section better could be:
“We always find a solution”
“Be a problem solver”
“ How to work with a 3rd Party Company on ‘No’”
Who cares about the name though?
RIGHT, it wasnt the policy itself that was controversial, but the phrasing and wording and he completely skipped over that
And the discord leaks? Deleting Shadman poster clips? Promoting gambling to kids? The beast games situation? Lots of serious things missed

I personally feel like this interview didn’t hit the meat of a lot of the claims that people were making.
One of the main issues with Jake’s situation is that when people are given these opportunities they feel like they cannot leave.
Yeah I was hoping they were gonna get into the specific stuff that dude had said before about feeling manipulated or whatever but the crying and sobbing to me personally always felt really fake tbh 😬 I was hoping we’d at least get unedited footage of some of the isolation video thing in the doc but there really was just 90% deleted Reddit posts
there was no meat to the claims tho? they were super tentative at best and had hardly any evidence or easily disproven evidence.
The US is such a dystopia. Putting people in debt for wanting an education and then having a billionaire offering money to such desperate people for entertainment. And if any harm was done, it was the victim's fault for signing up or not dropping out. It's his fault for wanting to escape crippling debt and have a chance at life.

@@Myarose2000 yup, and he was quick to call Oompa “gullible”. He thought Oompa was easy to manipulate like the rest of the public and called us dumb.

I didn’t really feel that anything about the coffee video was a smoking gun.
