comedian is by far the most difficult genre to achieve. You re wrong abot comedians not winning the oscar... they do, just they do for serious roles. Comedians have won oscar at least 20 times that i can recall

They should have reprised this for this year's Oscars. With Ryan Gosling getting nominated for a blockbuster comedy movie that Will Ferrell was also in, and with Jack Black having a hugely popular song from a movie that didn't even get shortlisted for Best Original Song, it would have been perfect timing.
