Heihachi won The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, but he and Kazuya were defeated by Jin in the temple of Hon-Maru shortly thereafter. Hwoarang defeated Jin in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, then Devil Jin retaliated by sending him into a coma. Somehow, Jin's T5 ending is canon when it was supposed to be Wang's ending that would canonically transfer into the events of T6.
I think you mean to say Paul beat Ogre, but Jin beat True Ogre. Paul thought the tournament ended with base form Ogre, so he left the tournament, not realizing Ogre transformed, meaning that Paul unknowingly disqualified himself.

But do get it about King's story because it have nothing to do about the Tournament.
