I completely agree about Tekken 4. Of all the other games, 4 is the one that stands out the most to me not because of nostalgia, but because of how different the mood is from the others.
true, even I still find TEKKEN 4 and its different (unlike other TEKKEN arena) environment makes it unique and challenge the likes of DOA at that moment

Tekken 6 had the best customization system. I wish they would bring that variety and costume mixup back.

Even the joke chars and endings and stories was kinda dark, paul hit rock bottom to find himself, lee made his adopted father a punching bag for his machine, combot ending is him gaining conciousness A.K.A singularity, kuma's ending is his own caretaker trying to screw him over and xiaoyu ending had her best friend essentially with no future and jobless.

I ended up playing tekken 5 next cause some friends had it and I liked it because of all the extra stuff it had like being able to play the older tekkens and galleries and being able to customize your characters. It would be a great idea for Bandai namco to release the whole series in a collection just saying

@@jazzythebazzbanana2800 tbh, after playing this game a lot more recently, I've actually realized a lot of the tracks are pretty sick. Souq final round, Mishima building round 1, and mishima dojo round 1 are some of my favorite ones. They really go hard on those tracks lol

Tekken 4 will always be my favorite. Might be because it was the first one I ever played, but there's so many things about it that make it so unique. The stages were great, the soundtrack is one of the best in gaming, and as SWE mentioned the game had this gritty dark feeling to it.

flower field stage and the spain stage was cool too oh also the santa and tuna boat stage lol, there were some good tracks in tag 2 despite the hate for the game.

From stage 4 to defeating Jinpachi took 17 mins, the first 3 stages took 3 ½ mins combined, I think it not being first attempt is a solid guess.
I love that Heihachi has bandages on his hands in T4 its so badass.

You know what at first i thought Azazel was the cheapest boss in Tekken but Jun Kazama/Unknown might be the worst, even worse than Shin Akuma who was an optional boss that was meant to be really hard.
On a side note i found Jun's biker costume with a spiked club on back and Tonfa's on her hands to be very hilarious.

Back when we had real fight games ,, unlike Today's juggle city... I was so into Tekken i wanted to get Jin's arm tattoo..But never did..To this day That's the only tattoo I would still ever consider getting on my arm...Mind you I have no tattoos... Another great fighting game I was very into was killer instinct 2 mortal Kombat two andthree and marvel versus Capcom 2 ..Are used to go to the arcade's daily and play whatever was on home systems... Even got the Japanese version of Tekken 2 because it came out a year earlier than the US version ..for Some reason it was playable on American PlayStations
I actually tried Tekken 2 Arcade version on Ultra Hard and it was not that bad. Surprised TMM took that long. The CPU in Tekken 1 and 2 hate launchers and down 4. U can easily wreck it with no problem. Bear em both in less than 10 minutes.

I like Tag 1 soundtrack, and it is my second favorite that is behind Tekken 4. My favorite stage is the airport one from T4. Tag 2 hardly any tracks I liked in that soundtrack I can recall only heavenly garden, and the hell version. In Revolution I didn't like anything in the soundtrack nada. I started with Tag 1 so the soundtrack holds more value to me.
