    This is a great sequence ! I was searching for something to loosen tight chest muscles as thats part of the rounded shoulders thing i think. Probably this will be enough 😊 since your exercises are soo transformative and enjoyable to practice too. Thanks and Praises for sharing 🙏

      @dmendez1940 Yep you're absolutely right, tight chest muscle pull the shoulders (and head) forward. Tight belly too. Glad you found this one helpful. Keep up your practice!

    Hi Colm, this is super session. So clearly pointing the places which are tight and are the cause of rounded shoulders. And how to release them. Will add this to my collection of great sessions.

    i ihope you been wel,Colm.
    i like doing both sides at once whenever possible.
    if you can tell me (explain ) why i it not a good idea doing that and times we( can), can not do the assessments.?

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      When learning a movement it is easier to do one arm at a time. Or if one arm is uncomfortable doing it separately allows you to focus on it more specifically. Beyond that you can do both arms together. Either option is totally fine. Thanks for watching.

    Love this! (And so many of your videos.) Thank you! I felt the left arm/shoulder work pull on my problematic left knee. Really? Rounded shoulders contributing to my painful knee? 😮

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Susan. Absolutely, rounded shoulders = rounded back = tail tucked under = knees turned in = potential knee pain. Explore these movements and reassess:

    Nice and powerful little combo, can feel my breathing feel better after. If we contracted in the front belly and shoulders can that cause back pain and hip pain?

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Glad you liked it. Yep, everything affects everything else. Tightness in front can absolutely contribute to hip and back pain.

    Hi Colm, do you think i should start with these shoulder movements first as a warm up before doing the other curling movements for the red light pattern? Thank you

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can certainly do that. If it makes your shoulder more comfortable before putting them behind your head it's a good idea.

    Why do you do this move on separate sides first, and then say you can do them together.??

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Doing one side at a time is easier than doing both sides together. So you do each side individually first so you can be sure that you CAN do it. Then afterwards you can do them both together. Doing one side at a time also allows you to COMPARE left to right.
