Mechanical lock is hard in engine, it should be used when trying to slow down on a steep hill with a heavy load, and should not be used when trying to speed up ever.
+amol allimore there is already "similar" butterfly valve in intake throtle body of petrol egine, wich is used for intake air control during acceleration and also as a break when you are not pressing the throtle. When the intake butterfly valve is closed it restricts the intake of the petrol engine which makes vacuum and slows down the petrol engine
Its because the compression ratio of petrol engine is less compared to diesel engine, so its not that effective in this case. Also petrol engines aren't that rugged so high pressures may damage the engine (cylinder walls) over a period of time.
Harshith SV HI have already uploaded video on turbocharger, please search you will get it.please subscribe to us for more videos n keep connected with us on Facebook just search for Techtrixinfo
This May be one system a manufacturer mau use , but on u.s. trucks its referred to as a 'jake brake' . And the exhaust valves remain closed longer so that pressure in the cylinder causes a slowing effect when a driver downshift or is idling down a hill
chance of bending a connecting rod is very feeble. exhaust brake is not applied during rated speed/ torque. it is applied during a deceleration phase. the stress on connecting rod will be more during manual breaking.
athira vijayakumar ok athira when fuel injection take place if the exhaut gas comes inside then there must a small fire will take place *(because there heat fuel and also air )
7150285 No this is a unit just connected to the out let of the turbo charger. Thanks for the comment. Please subscribe to us for more videos n keep connected with us on Facebook just search for Techtrixinfo
yeah, it's weird they do that all the time like I just changed my flight ticket on Orbitz yesterday and the whole process took like 45mins on the phone but the indian guy on the phone keeps repeating the same shit like 8 or 9 times, so fucking annoying!
Wow, finally someone who explained it super simple to understand.
very simple & clear cut explanation about exhaust braking system. Thanks for the same.
That was an excellent break down in a simple, concise, and yet complete manner. Well done, and great video my man!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you
Excellent job explaining this
You made it simple
Thank you !
Thank you brother.
in theory this would work on a non turbo gasoline engine yes? it does not need one but it would work??
Nice - thanks that is just what I wanted to know :)
Please explain exhaust brake working in which exhaust brake solenoid is missing
Why butterfly valve only closed partially?...
Why not its close fully?...
Please reply sir
Excellent explanation ❤❤
will exhaust brake reduce internal engine life ?
I thank you for the video, and your english is fine, i understood every word. Some people are just slow
Does it use more fuel?
Unfortunately, when I while driving uphill road my truck exhaust brake was on, and also gear shifted down one or two times. affect engine power?
Brilliant
Is there any disadvantages
I so may like. I want to know how work hydraulic motor? Thank u
the exhaust valave is open only in braking time or else ?
It's EXHAUSTING to watched this video !!!
u should put link of ur butterfly valve video in this video
is this Exhaust braking technique also used for Idle speed control? thanks
No for diesels you controll that with air or with the injector. but modern diesels uses both
Thanks!
Nice, thanks...
Thank you!!
good explain
This condition why R.P.M. will increase..?
But what's the negative and more importantly when is it used or when it shouldn't be used?
Mechanical lock is hard in engine, it should be used when trying to slow down on a steep hill with a heavy load, and should not be used when trying to speed up ever.
When exhaust break on & driver give accelerator what happen in engine?
the break turns off
Wow... Superrrr❤
Thankyou
So the keywords to be remember are backpressure ,cut off of flow from turbo ,regarding speed of piston ,negative torque & hence axle n powertrain ...
I was wrong I thought exhaust braking means making the exhaust valve closed while during the exhaust stroke
why exhaust brakes are not used in petrol engine?

please make a video about turbo charger

I still like the compression release brake more but this makes less nose
awesome
Awasomee
👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the support, please SUBSCRIBE.
exhaust axles exhaust axles exhaust axles exhaust...
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk,,,,,,,its axle braking
fuckking nudels

Nope. Jake brake is a different thing. It releases the compression on cylinder by advancing the exhaust valve timing
Malayali ano
due to exhaust brake there must be stress create on connecting rod and the there will be a bend will occur
chance of bending a connecting rod is very feeble. exhaust brake is not applied during rated speed/ torque. it is applied during a deceleration phase. the stress on connecting rod will be more during manual breaking.
athira vijayakumar can i ask you one ? is exhaust brake working while fuel injection
Jegan John Peter OFCOURSE
athira vijayakumar ok athira when fuel injection take place if the exhaut gas comes inside then there must a small fire will take place *(because there heat fuel and also air
)
athira vijayakumar am right friend
What did he say?
please come agen!
Please get a good speaker! No offence man but u'r really hard to understand at times.
shut up, that's not important
Understanding the words is not important? lol.. okay, Jose.
Hello my name is "bob" I will tell you about agaus brake
This would damage the engine components and lots of vibrations
you have any data to suggest this?
Not true, this is almost on every commercial rig
If that were the case exhaust brake manufacturers would have been put out of business long ago.
Aap hindi me bhi explain kijiye plZ
if you cant understand him, maybe 'you' need to revise your English!
Hindi ya Marathi main boliye sir.
Sar namaste Sar is video ko Hindi mein samjhane ki koshish kijiye please thank you
Exos brake
it looks similar to a turbocharger

Can someone translate to English what he's taking !!!
I couldn't understand. 😞
What the fuck is a "Wehicle"???
kuch kuch ho ta he...koimil gaya..break..
nope can't understand, sos
The accent is bad. Bad. But I'll not stress on it as it's not the point of the video.
+Sai Sankar Warrier True but he did a good job explaining things.I' dont mind as long as its accurate info but I'm sure some idiots will.
Why keep repeating the same thing over and over like a parrot. One explanation is enough let alone 8 or more.
yeah, it's weird they do that all the time like I just changed my flight ticket on Orbitz yesterday and the whole process took like 45mins on the phone but the indian guy on the phone keeps repeating the same shit like 8 or 9 times, so fucking annoying!
Fail system
You seem to struggle with the letter V and pronounce it as a W. Try to remember that W-wuh-wuh-wuh is not VV but UU.
what english is that??? irritating to hear.
Speech not understood. Video is worthless.
i can't understand a word this guy is saying
english por favor
Fettucini Eyez. Yup, indian is hard to understand.
Cringe Alert!!!!!!
first work on your pronunciation.
Thanks
