Mano, this is the video I've been looking for all day and it's a great one except for one thing. It's called (and i was searching for) a clutch SLAVE CYLINDER! Change the name and I'll bet you double the views in a week. There aren't that many out there! Great job!
Do you know if I bleed it after I change the clutch pump and the hose to the clutch pump and they’re still play in the clutch like it feels very easy to push Brown do I have to keep bleeding it.
Check to make sure the hole in bleeder screw is open or you won't be able to pump brake fluid in to the system I had to remove mine and clean it out with small drill bit
I wanted to ask you I change the clutch pump the same one you did on your video and I have been bleeding for hours but the pedal still goes in like nothing and I can’t put it into gear no more do you know what it could be
Did you make sure the shaft on the pump clicked on the fork socket?? I always bleed them from the bottom and make sure the pump I’m using has enough brake fluid to prevent any air going back to the system.
When my truck is idling and I gently put my foot on the clutch pedal it will slowly start going down almost all the way but when truck is off it’s stiff right from the top. Could my issue be the clutch pump that you replaced in this video? Thank you.
I used a bleeder but I missed the part where you said the old fluid comes out through the top. That’s why I asked if you where adding fluid through the bleeder screw?
I pump the brake fluid like you did and it worked I got my clutch working again. I disconnected the hose from the reservoir and I let it drain into a brake fluid bottle. I still get air in my clutch but not like before do you think I still have air in there? Do you think it was a bad idea to disconnect the hose from the reservoir and let it drain into a brake fluid bottle I’m thinking it might’ve gotten air because of that.
My engine looks like it has a huge oil leak, but doesn’t smell like engine oil. I think my slave cylinder is bad and it spewing oil onto the clutch housing causing it to be strewn everywhere
Really helpful I was almost going to replace clutch

Will do brother👍
So you add fluid through the bottom and it goes out through the top reservoir

Where did you get the pump?
Was this the master clutch cylinder or the slave ???
Bro my 2010 international pro star doesn’t have place to put brake oil what kind international are you working, I think Box truck

Well the old fluid drained when i disconnected the hydraulic hose when removing the old pump. I added the new fluid through the bottom.
@@texacanics9562 do you keep the fluid reservoir open when you’re adding fluid through the bottom?
@@scatter-vision21 yeah. That's why you put a cup under it to catch all the fluid that spills over
What year was that prostar was my friend? Thanks for the video and info👍
2016
What reason are you replacing bro
Did you need a gasket for the clutch pump?
Not at all. I believe the pump comes with one but i dont think it affects the performance of the pump.
Part number?
Btw great video im actually having that issue so very helpful i appreciate it.
Cant remember the part number
Sorry 😢

It could’ve but i always go with the same method that has worked for me.
Great Job!!!
Where did you get the pump at?
I ordered it from napa but I'm pretty sure harbor freight or any other parts store has them aswell .
Thanks brotha very helpful

Keep in mind in some engines like detroit or cummins you have the rear main crankshaft seal open to the bell housing
I have similar question right now. But you do not have any contact number. Anyway thanks for the info
