  • Welcome back to Drifting South!
We are adapting well to full-time RV life and thanks to many online sites and TH-cam videos, we learned a lot before leaving Canada and its all paying off now that we are in Mexico.
Last week we had stopped at a rest stop and once we left we realized that Brent didn't have his phone. Luckily, after a quick turn around, Brent was reunited with his phone!
We pulled into a camping spot in the desert for a few nights and absolutely loved it. We were able to get the truck looked at and made an appointment for the following week to get the airbags replaced. It's an aftermarket system that helps keep the truck level while carrying and hauling so much weight. Since we have a few days to wait we decided to check out Alamo which we heard has a few Bass in it.
Time flew by, before we knew it we were back in Lake Havasu City, set up in the desert and waiting for the airbags to be installed. Now we are ready for Yuma to visit some friends.
When you are at the Mexican border from Calexico to Mexicali and you are hauling an RV or driving a motorhome... stay to the left in the bus lane. You do not want to have to reverse in a border line up. Luckily Brent stayed cool and handled the RV like a champ. We are now safely in Mexico enjoying our first stay in San Felipe at Club De Pesca RV Park.
Thank you so much for watching!
    Take care until next time!
    Jenny xo

Hey, Jenny. Great to see you all. I once 'misplaced' a company phone calling card, in Wyoming, and it was a 60 mile round trip to retrieve it. I feel for Brett. Great scenery, but flat and treeless, and HOT. By the by, anything you cook is a gourmet meal, even tube steaks. Keep enjoying your trip, and I'm already looking forward to the next video. Safe travels.

Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate your comment about my cooking! We are finally in Mexico and seeing more trees and hills. It’s quite windy so it doesn’t feel as hot… which can be dangerous when I’m out in the sun for a long time. Gotta keep up on the sunscreen application.
It’s scary losing a phone and I’m so glad we were all lucky enough to get our forgotten phones back. Take care! Working on the next video soon. Wait until you see all the cactus and hills along highway 1 down to Guerrero Negro. It was so cool!

I need one of those stone thingys that goes under my bed that would align my back, ha ha. I didn’t know you were a bit of a rock hound. That’s cool. But you made me nervous poking around the weeds and rocks and stuff where horrible critters that can run FAST like to hide. Yikes! Another great video, thank you for sharing it with us. Looks like you had a great time.

Thank you so much! I definitely shouldn’t have been poking around. I’m not used to desert creatures and I should respect their space.
I am a big time rock hound! Always have been. There’s always a collection on my window sills, plant pots and in the vehicles haha
      Thanks for watching!

    Love the video.
I like seeing yuma again I used to Winner there. I believe the cackus have to be over a 100 years old before they get a branch out. Never been to Baha. Can't wait to see your next video!

Wow Charlie. Thants really cool info about the cactus. Can’t believe how old they are! Wait until you see some of the cactus forests we drove through in the Baja. Unbelievable. Felt like we were on a different planet. Yuma is a very popular spot for snowbirds. Thanks so much for watching!! I hope to have the next video out on the weekend.

wonderful video. close call with the phone, eh. I have a couple of friends, neighbours, , , that are doing the same sort of travel as you two. They have an Earth Roamer. the go for three or months at a time. Right now they are somewhere in Utah, I collect rocks from locations as well. I date and identify them and put them on the edge of my Traingarden. Enjoy you travels.

Thank you so much Robin! I’ve started drawing the rocks and labeling where I got them from. Otherwise the collection gets so big and my memory is the opposite haha
I’d love to see your collection. We are loving this trip so far. Lots of sagas, peaks and valleys, highs and lows. It’s fantastic!

Have done that. Thank you!! I am registered and am considered a hobbyist. My DJI mini 3 is under 250 grams. I’m able to get some pretty sweet shots. Do you fly a drone also?

Was it very windy there also? We had a really windy day in Yuma. It’s nice to be south of the border now. We are currently in Guerrero Negro on the Baja California Sur.

I hope he enjoys his hot dogs At least he doesn't have to eat guys don't have to worry about fighting over snakes for your food what I have to do Is lock lids. I've been up for a little over hour I was kind of making itchy band soup put in the microwave it's easy to make it in the microwave simple Didn't taste so good and I reached in the third fork A bit I'm getting a little bit off the fork on the one side and here's a small little tiny snake crawling up out of the bowl I would like to see 2 ones with the red lids rubber maid I doubt in the microwave lid crack open a little bit doesn't blow app I'll work when I left guess what got into it 🐍small Gardener snake Then yesterday night before I had a fight there was one underneath my bed grabbed onto the metal frame and numb me at 1 in the morning for a few minutes the heart stopped It's been a headache for a while long while and you're getting worse manager got notified I've been bit by 2 species snakes and ticks on my back And they're really doing nothing for it Doctor Fontana gave me some medication for next 4 weeks 2 different ones and give me a run for my money It's a hit-and-miss I get lightheaded or small headaches but that's only mean stuff it does work for it It's worse when they fly around and you open the container up they hit it hit it before you notice it there Some nights or some days are good and some other days are not so good
