It has been suggested (controversially) that the biomass of ants worldwide equals that of humans, so given their tiny individual size, we are out-performed. But it is the superorganism that is the focus of their societies, not the individuals.

Fun Fact: Ants have also mastered domestication of other insects. You see, the ants let in aphids that feed off of the leaves which means they produce honeydew, so the aphids get protection, and the ants can milk them to get the sugary honeydew.

These ants are called umbrella ants also. They carrying leaves, it looks that they are taking umbrella! They bring these leaves to their nest. Then they chew them up nicely. After wards they make beds of these chewed-up leaves. Here they grow a kind of fungus. This is the food of ants. They like this food. These ants are called farmer who do such type of farming. There are also types of ants which like to have honey-like liquid. They bring green flies to their nest. They protect them. By pressing their sides, they milk' them and enjoy honey like liquid from them. 🐜 🐜
