I never knew how balls out they would play during rehearsal. There's another clip and they're tearing a hole in it like it's a show. But this is where it goes into 12th gear. Hard to get used to Lyle going so young. That's a tough one.

Pat is so in to every song he plays. He really gives it his all with every performance of every song he plays, same with is group! No wonder he was the inspiration for me to start playing guitar over 30 years ago!

It's not a personal beef with anyone. Just a shame that we have such great performances and even quality camera work, but not able to get the original quality of the video. TH-cam has mostly been like this. :(
なつかしい！
たまたま招待券を頂いてこの客席に居ました。これがメセニー初体験でした。
音楽は好きでいろいろ聴いていたけどメセニーに関する予備知識はまったく無いまま
まだ十代だった当時の自分にはステージで奏でられるこの音楽の半分も理解できていなかったと思うけど
ただただ「スゴい」ことが目の前で繰り広げられてることだけは感じ取れて
真夏日の炎天下で汗だくになりながら鳥肌が立ったことをよく覚えています。
それ以降メセニーの世界にどっぷりとハマって来日するたびに何度もステージを見てきました。
もちろん言うまでもなくすべて素晴らしいものでしたが
おそらくこのステージ以上の感動には出会えてない気がします。
この場に居ました。ギターソロの冒頭に鳥肌が立ったのを今でも鮮明に思い出します。
それは最ッ高ですね。

ブレイクのドミナント系？の謎フレーズの後、原曲と違って怒涛の如くキャッチーなフレーズを弾きまくってるのが、解放感が凄い。
見覚えが。それがしも多分いました。このころバンドらしかった
