Congratulations my son, I am so proud of you..... You are the best, and you are doing the best you can... It doesn't matter how hard could be for you to produce this video because of the tasks with the university, but I know who you are... Simply you are always thinking to help people anywhere. Te amo hijo de mi alma!
La verdad es un profesor espectacular, lo entiendo tan bien que me sorprende, y es muy dinámico! Felicidades mamá, tienes un hijo maravilloso!!! Blessings!!!❤
Hi Mauricio, first, thank you very much for your entire collection of RBT videos that you have created for those of us whom are/were preparing to take the RBT exam. I have definitely recommended your study guide to everyone I come across and are interesting in obtaining their RBT credentials. Secondly, can you please explain (in your best way) what is the difference between DTT and PRT? and when do I know to use each one?
Mauricio. I am trying not to thank you on all your videos I have have watched. However, it's been hard not to stop and give all the credit you deserve. You are the BEST OUT THERE. Thank You! You are helping me, and others do better.
Love your videos! I have a daughter with autism, and your insight has really helped me understand the learning process to help teach her new things. She loves to learn. It can be quite challenging though, especially with complex tasks. I am really hoping this approach will help us with that. Thanks!
Hi Mauricio! I just wanted to thank you for your videos. They are super clear and easy to understand. I am currently in the process of prepping to take the initial RBT Competency Assessment, and your videos have been really instrumental in helping me to review some of the content I'll need for this assessment xoxo
Thanks for sharing your videos and taking the time to teach others through your knowledge. I have learned a lot from you! If possible, can you post a video about gaining instructional control? I'm currently with a new client that has trouble transitioning from a desirable activity to an undesirable one. It often resorts in a tantrum and aggression due to him wanting to control the environment and escape the demand.
The trick to instructional control is pairing yourself with reinforcement. But in this case it seems like it may be a case of ratio strain where too many responses are required for the difficult task before getting a reinforcer. You might want to lower how much effort is required for the undesirable task and have an exclusive reinforcer just for the completion of that task. As they get better with it, you can ask them for more responses before delivering the reinforcer. I talk a bit about instructional control in this video: th-cam.com/video/SWmEe5QPDo8/w-d-xo.html you may also want to look into the Premack Principle. Good luck!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge in a way anyone can understand. I've learned a lot through your videos. Can you please do a video on how to teach a toddler with no receptive language.
