I took my exam today at home with an online proctor. My dog unexpectedly has been struggling with her health and she was at the vet during my exam. I got so stressed and overwhelmed I began to cry, in front of the camera where people were watching me!! Lol. But I gathered myself together and remembered everything I have learned from your videos. I was doubtful I passed but I just got an email saying I did. I wouldn’t have done without your videos! Thank you so much!!!

I took my exam and passed last week. Going into studying for the exam, I was super nervous and I didn't really like the videos I was seeing online. THEN, I came across your videos and wow, what a difference. They were extremely helpful, put everything into simple terms, you had excellent examples, etc..Your videos and the Quizlet practice tests were what absolutely helped me to pass after one try!!!! I did my test yesterday and I didn’t even study cause I was so busy with school. All the long videos of RBT reviews were giving me anxiety since I had a day left and then I found yours. I watched all your videos the day of the test and I passed my test on my first try 3/29/24. Of course some stuff were just refreshers from my 40 hour training. But you still had to think about the questions however the simple definitions you gave and how you highlighted the importance of RBTs going to their supervisor for almost anything really helped. The 40 hour training I watched was so over complicated and 40 hours for no reason. Thank you sir for making my life and the lives of countless others, easier.

I’m here to say I started my journey with becoming a RBT on August 28th as soon as I started my job, I began my session for studying for this exam, and I have really bad test anxiety My exam was actually yesterday and with your help Mauricio I really appreciate it. I watch your videos over and over again and I went oh ABA rocks to do more of my studying to practice on myself and yesterday. I passed my exam on my first try. I would also like to share my experience while watching this entire playlist on the RBT exam review, after intensely watching this playlist for two straight weeks. I passed my RBT exam on the first try! Everything that was on the exam is covered through the playlist, the provided examples Mauricio gives for every term, and the small breakdowns on what the term means! This playlist saved me!

I just wanted to let you know a lot of the materials you covered WERE NOT on the exam. A lot of the questions were SCENARIOS so you need to understand each term to the T!!! Started going thru these videos yesterday. Today I continued. Started at 5am now at 7:07am and got to the end. The study guide is awesome. I am following another youtube change with mock exam explanations. But I like to have two options for this. Two different ways of explanations. My primary language is Spanish, and I am training to not be surprised by using different ways of asking a question. At least not being thrown off if what I see on the test is worded differently, and I also like to hear different examples for definitions. I found the explanations in this video to be simple and understandable. This video added a few things I had yet to encounter in my studies of DTT techniques: mass trials etc. Stimulus Alpha and SD. Most to least intrusive (I hadn't made this connection to the physical, gestural, etc. ) Differential reinforcement DRO, DRI, etc. I now have a better understanding (Mauricio's examples were so much more clear). Abolishing Operation? I had just seen this term when Mauricio brought it up. Oh! Especially on the VR, FI, etc., i have a much clearer vision in my head of what those mean. I will keep taking mock exams until I pass my comp test this Tuesday and hopefully can take the written exam by June 17th. I pray I pass on my first try. Thank you, Mauricio!

THANK YOU!! I passed!!!! I was very nervous having to take this exam. My company isn't very attentive or on top of things. In fact only around 70% of people who take the 40 hour course through my company pass the test so...this scared me into looking for outside resources to help. These reviews helped tremendously. Mock tests were a good resource, however, i got more out of the lessons you posted than the mock tests. Thank you for helping me...next I will be focusing on finding a job at a company that is more attentive to their employees. Thank you again.
I wanted to come here and personally thank you. I passed my RBT today (December 10, 2021), first try! I had notes from a previous employer (they loosely helped) but the turning page in my passing; is definitely in large part to your expertise, ability to explain and give GREAT examples, and your overall delivery in your videos. You actually made it- ABA (learning) F U N. Go figure. FUN! What a concept! I came from a state-NJ where I was employed and providing ABA services but did not have to be certified. I thought I was being effective in the field utilizing ABA but discovered actually, after viewing your videos and tutorials, that I had the skillset; but not really the knowledge (regarding terms and how I processed the concepts). I moved to FL and had to be certified, thus keeping me from being gainfully employed until I got my certification. Whew! Thank you, Mauricio (my grandson's name as well). You helped so very much. Much love and continued success in ALL your endeavors.

I passed my exam this week. Thank you Mauricio these videos were super helpful. Since I was new to the ABA field, I really found the initial RBT 40hr course to be a lot of information. These videos put the information into simple and appliable terms. For individuals who may be watching these videos, it is very important that you don't just learn the meaning of the terms but you must think in scenarios. In case you have not taken an exam like this before, the majority of questions are based on you applying the terms instead of just knowing the terms. If you go into the exam without doing this ahead of time you may not have enough time to process this in the time allotted. Another tip is, do a system check on your computer close to the time of the exam. I did a system check as soon as I scheduled my exam and my computer checked out ok (my exam was about a week later). In that time my computer updated and because my computer is older and running a little slow, I also had my son run an antivirus check on it (basically a cleanup). Unknowning to me both of these things affected my computer's compatibility with the exam software. My exam was scheduled for 10:30 am and I logged in about 30 min prior as recommended. But the exam site downloaded but would not open. I tried several times will no success. After lots of frustration, I ended up purchasing a new computer and rescheduled the exam for 4 pm on the same day. About 2 hours before my rescheduled exam, I run the exam program but again I was having difficulties. The problem was that the exam program will not run with other apps open but I had nothing open. My son is in IT and the problem was that the new computer was running an application in the background. He had to manually go into the programming the computer and disable the application that was running. This was a default setting in the computer. I hope this very long comment will help someone else. Best wishes to all. PS. I will continue to refer back to these videos as I gain experience in ABA.

I took my exam and passed last week. Going into studying for the exam, I was super nervous and I didn't really like the videos I was seeing online. THEN, I came across your videos and wow, what a difference. They were extremely helpful, put everything into simple terms, you had excellent examples, etc..Your videos and the Quizlet practice tests were what absolutely helped me to pass after one try!!!! I did my test yesterday and I didn’t even study cause I was so busy with school. All the long videos of RBT reviews were giving me anxiety since I had a day left and then I found yours. I watched all your videos the day of the test and I passed my test on my first try 3/29/24. Of course some stuff were just refreshers from my 40 hour training. But you still had to think about the questions however the simple definitions you gave and how you highlighted the importance of RBTs going to their supervisor for almost anything really helped. The 40 hour training I watched was so over complicated and 40 hours for no reason. Thank you sir for making my life and the lives of countless others, easier.

I’m here to say I started my journey with becoming a RBT on August 28th as soon as I started my job, I began my session for studying for this exam, and I have really bad test anxiety My exam was actually yesterday and with your help Mauricio I really appreciate it. I watch your videos over and over again and I went oh ABA rocks to do more of my studying to practice on myself and yesterday. I passed my exam on my first try. Thank you for everything and I thank you for this because personally I was over studying and making it bigger than what it is, and after watching your videos all the time, making my own flashcards, it really gave me a better understanding it. I just wanted to let you know a lot of the materials you covered WERE NOT on the exam. A lot of the questions were SCENARIOS so you need to understand each term to the T!!! Thank God I watched these videos over and over.
Started going thru these videos yesterday. Today I continued. Started at 5am now at 7:07am and got to the end. The study guide is awesome. I am following another youtube change with mock exam explanations. But I like to have two options for this. Two different ways of explanations. My primary language is Spanish, and I am training to not be surprised by using different ways of asking a question. At least not being thrown off if what I see on the test is worded differently, and I also like to hear different examples for definitions. I found the explanations in this video to be simple and understandable. This video added a few things I had yet to encounter in my studies of DTT techniques: mass trials etc. Stimulus Alpha and SD. Most to least intrusive (I hadn't made this connection to the physical, gestural, etc. ) Differential reinforcement DRO, DRI, etc. I now have a better understanding (Mauricio's examples were so much more clear). Abolishing Operation? I had just seen this term when Mauricio brought it up. Oh! Especially on the VR, FI, etc., i have a much clearer vision in my head of what those mean. I will keep taking mock exams until I pass my comp test this Tuesday and hopefully can take the written exam by June 17th. I pray I pass on my first try. Thank you, Mauricio!

THANK YOU!! I passed!!!! I was very nervous having to take this exam. My company isn't very attentive or on top of things. In fact only around 70% of people who take the 40 hour course through my company pass the test so...this scared me into looking for outside resources to help. These reviews helped tremendously. Mock tests were a good resource, however, i got more out of the lessons you posted than the mock tests. Thank you for helping me...next I will be focusing on finding a job at a company that is more attentive to their employees. Thank you again.

I had notes from a previous employer (they loosely helped) but the turning page in my passing; is definitely in large part to your expertise, ability to explain and give GREAT examples, and your overall delivery in your videos. You actually made it- ABA (learning) F U N. Go figure. FUN! What a concept!
I came from a state-NJ where I was employed and providing ABA services but did not have to be certified. I thought I was being effective in the field utilizing ABA but discovered actually, after viewing your videos and tutorials, that I had the skillset; but not really the knowledge (regarding terms and how I processed the concepts).
I moved to FL and had to be certified, thus keeping me from being gainfully employed until I got my certification.

Shakhayshas Richardson I gave myself like 2-3 full days of reviewing these videos and my notes beforehand but that’s prob not enough in hindsight! Lol
I passed my exam this week. Thank you Mauricio these videos were super helpful. Since I was new to the ABA field, I really found the initial RBT 40hr course to be a lot of information. These videos put the information into simple and appliable terms. For individuals who may be watching these videos, it is very important that you don't just learn the meaning of the terms but you must think in scenarios. In case you have not taken an exam like this before, the majority of questions are based on you applying the terms instead of just knowing the terms. If you go into the exam without doing this ahead of time you may not have enough time to process this in the time allotted. Another tip is, do a system check on your computer close to the time of the exam. I did a system check as soon as I scheduled my exam and my computer checked out ok (my exam was about a week later). In that time my computer updated and because my computer is older and running a little slow, I also had my son run an antivirus check on it (basically a cleanup). Unknowning to me both of these things affected my computer's compatibility with the exam software. My exam was scheduled for 10:30 am and I logged in about 30 min prior as recommended. But the exam site downloaded but would not open. I tried several times will no success. After lots of frustration, I ended up purchasing a new computer and rescheduled the exam for 4 pm on the same day. About 2 hours before my rescheduled exam, I run the exam program but again I was having difficulties. The problem was that the exam program will not run with other apps open but I had nothing open. My son is in IT and the problem was that the new computer was running an application in the background. He had to manually go into the programming the computer and disable the application that was running. This was a default setting in the computer. I hope this very long comment will help someone else. Best wishes to all. PS. I will continue to refer back to these videos as I gain experience in ABA.
