- Quick vid this week! I take the @LosiRacing #promotomx to @RCExcitement27 after a Drag Racing test & tune, so obviously I have to run it on the 1/10 scale quarter mile (132 ft measured)! How fast does it go!? Watch to find out! Bonus mini dirt bash session with it too!

Riiiight, I’m it going to run on pavement. NOT! I can’t help myself lol. Who knows when promoto tires come in. You’re absolutely right about the wear, but who can resist this much fun? Just do it!
For me its easy enough to simply keep it on dirt grass but I have lots of dirt and grass available to me since I live in the woods =P
@@NHO-RC Lucky you! I have a gravel parking lot a block away, and live in the woods also, with no clear area, except the nice paved road:-( luckily, saw a good video by 2FMRC about cutting and adapting crawler tires to these rims. I'm going to try that, when my knobs bite the dust! or pavement I should say. Lol I had a blast adjusting and cleaning the chain, these things are awesome! Glad you got yours! Nice video!
Thanks, yeah I am actually in the process of building a....1/8th ish track on the back of my property to run this and my other stuff on so there will be a video about that at some point in the future!
I finally received my promoto the other day. And you are correct, you need to either, have a good amount of spare tires. Or, run it mainly on dirt. The tires wear out pretty quickly on pavement. Even with street tires, depending on how hard you run your bike. You can wear out those tires quickly as well. I have another bike. An X-rider bike with street tires. And I can wear those tires out too damn quickly. Luckily, I have a lot of spare tires for that one.
Yeah its wild! I guess its not really surprising given the small contact patch running dirt tires on pavement. Hopefully this will be a warning to folks until we all have our promoto street tires in!
When did you place your order and when did it come in? Also the coupon that came in the box for %50 off is that for a set or can you order say 2 rear tires because if you can that’s what I’m going to do
I got mine in the first small shipment. Snagged one from a local shop that not a ton of people go to. You can use the coupon once, for a set for sure. I tried to order a second set later though and it wouldnt let me so maybe order a few sets at once when you go to order.

I don't listen to music when I run my rc's and I don't watch rc videos with music.
