try adding some sound deading material to the inside ceiling, you will have to remove the headliner and apply the deading pads directly to the bare metal but it will drop the sound byt 10-20 db sometimes depending on thickness and if you apply to the whole car. im about to do my trunk area with deading pads
Better to eliminate the root cause than use a band aid. Its cheaper and less work. Never used those strips but their purpose is to break up surface to eliminate harmonics. However the bumps need to be bigger. Thats probably why it helps but doesnt eliminate his problem. Ironically, putting accessories on a crossbar would likely eliminate noise but at he loses gas efficiency.
can you tell me which version of the crossbar you had? since you bought a 2024, they must have gave you the newer version. but im not sure if dealership scammed you since you didnt have the ''newer'' strip on your crossbar.
Thanks for the tip! Did your dealership install the crossbars or did you install yourself? I installed my crossbars, but I have them angled towards the front of the car whereas your seem to be angled towards the back and I am not sure which way is correct

I have version that is designed by Mazda. This is the OEM one. Is there a newer crossbar for this vehicle? I'm not sure on that.

Is urs loud ?
Sure, np! In my case, dealership installed it. I do want to move it backwards a little. It blocks my panaromic roof view.
Helps but doesn’t eliminate.
True. But reduces it a decent amount though!
Just remove those trashy looking crossbars
Lol, true that. The biggest solution of all 😂
Yep, I did not want those on my CX50!
🤣
@@eleanormassaro5195lol that was a good decision! They reduce MPG as well
