- Emergency Medical Services are many times overlooked and under-appreciated, however, there are services that pave the way for others to follow. Good Fellowship Ambulance and EMS training institute is just one of those places. They embraced the challenges of today with Basic and Advanced medical care for sick and injured people in their area. Plus, hosts numerous classes for continuing education to practicing providers and full courses that can go from Zero to Hero for the next generations of EMS providers.
I started my career path at Good Fellowship almost 30 years ago. I completed my EMT certification and began to volunteer my time every Monday Night for 22 years. Seeing the changes that have taken place not only in the services they provide but the facility itself, blows my mind. Deputy Chief Lenny Brown has taken on the reigns and wants the service to provide the highest quality of care for its patients while simultaneously teaching the next generation of healthcare providers.
Lenny walks us through all three levels of the building. At the bottom level are their operations and physical fitness area. The next level above is for the members of the service along with an area of dorms for their live-in program. Finally, the third level is one of the most technologically advanced training institutes in the area.
I was taken back by how things have changed from a single-story three-bay garage with the crew quarters in the basement into the mega facility it is today. I have are ever in the area you need to stop and check it out for yourself.

Love these videos and after watching for a while now, I never would have guessed that we shared ties to goodfellowship! I got my emt cert there in 2018. The instructors were fantastic. Having such a high capacity for training all out of a shop running a steady volume 911 contract is very unique and progressive. West chester seems like a great system to be in overall. Haha damnit, i might have to move back...

Went to medic school at gfac. Class of 2019
I was injured back in 94...I was studying for my PhD in neuropsychology at drexel and had my emt...I was hurt in a snow/ice storm down near 422 towards Philly...went off the road and I don't remember much...they took me to brandywine trauma center...it may have been these guys...brandywine lost my paper records so I don't know exactly

Lenny is misspeaking, The assistant chiefs wear gold oak leaves of a major. The director of operations (Chief), wears one star, they four shift lieutenants wear a gold bar, and six corporals that act as relief supervisors when the lieutenant are off

I'll be honest, not a fan of the random zoom ins. Is that new or due to critical information that are in the frame?
It's new, and I assume, not 100% positive, it's a different camera style they're experimenting with. TV shows, like the news, often do it where they will zoom in on the person's face who is talking.
