Whoever came up with that marina configuration should be fired. That's an insane navigation feat in close quarters and that boat should be on an outside dock away from all this navigation. It looks more like some video game build your own boat marina game than a real life. I don't understand this insanity. Just because he can do it doesn't mean it should be done.
Thank you for taking your time and writing a comment. Whoever can maneuver 220 gross tons as you see on the video it deserves a gold medal. It takes huge experience, skills, dedication, and 00 to operate vessels in these conditions. Great work Captain.
@@YachtsWithFilip Thanks for ignoring my greater point entirely and instead just give the Captain a reach around. A smarter better Captain would refuse this maneuver all together.
Absolutely perfect job by the captain. I can't see if there are any wing stations, but if he was steering solely from the pilot house it becomes even more incredible. It takes very good crew coordination to pull this one off, he needs to get the exact information at exactly the right time and not a single crew member can deviate from the plan. Very well done ! Hats off.
Why don't all yachts have an autonomous drone that can give a perfect birds-eye-view like this? It would make docking super easy. For places where drones are illegal it could work with a telescopic pole with a downward facing camera. The 360 degree camera systems that cars and some yachts have are not very good.
I'm glad I have more experienced Captains here who can dock 140GT and operate smoothly. Is there anyone with 200 GT experience and licensed let me know.

Great work Captain.
Probably for a yacht show of some description, those things have a habit of cramming the most boats possible into a too small an area.

It’s a boat show…..
@@writerconsidered Your "greater point" was well worth ignoring. It is a boat show!
Not bad. Sure nice to have bow thrusters to move yiur front around. Fancy manoeuvring. Reason why they are captains
Why don’t they just use ribs to act as tugs!!!
Much safer.
All money an zero common sense 😂😂😂😂😂
I hope there's no charge to keep it there since the space is unsalable unless you have a super hero captain.
No, at all, they give free dockage for no every boatshow 🙂
No idea what this Captain makes, but it's not enough. WOW!! Thank you for sharing this bird's eye view of skill.

The help of the tug boat would not have been necessary, the helmsman did a great job anyway.
You are one he'll of a captain, a raise is in order.....
Only a blind could design a marina like that.
It is a boat show, not a marina. All these docks are temporary and they did think everything thru. As you can see their calculations were spot on.
WOW!!!!!! that is impressive.
Now let's see him get it out of there.
Now I can’t tell what the wind is doing, but imagine that in 20MPH wind…oh my God…
Hooorraaayy Captain
I saw Lightning McQueen and Pit stop twins Luigi and Guido worked hard, in the process of docking the boat.😛
Wow
Wow!
And i do mean that!
Excellent skill from both Captains.
The 2 little boats put their maneuvering skills into perspective.

At some point, they will have to implement that on the boats and make life easier.
not bad. the little one in the beginning had some serious maneuverability. I guess those joy sticks really work!
Work of art. Hats off to you captain.
just another day at the office for this captain. Less stress since there wasn't any other yachts to scratch coming in :)
Miraculous ship maneuvering❣
As Ace would say out the window.....Like a glove!
Beautiful work happens with competent people. What a difference from the channels filming the local dock mishaps.
Kinda helps that they had a tug assisting
With 10 bowthrusters , an other boat helping me , and crew , I can dock an aircraft carrier in your pocket ....

That capt'n did a hellava parking job.
KUDO'S to the Pilot that docked that.
Squeaky bum time. Well done.
私は、こんな大きな船は要らないな。
勿論、買えないけど😂
Just… awesome!!!!
I also like play tetris
S T R E P I T O S A manovra!!! 💪💪💪👏👏👏
아주 나이스하구만..
Vakman!
Handles great.
Yeah. No.
Amazing
amazing!!!!
What idiot put design floating docks like that, then lastly would send a 100ft yacht back in a spot like that?
It's for the boat show Sir. The only way they can accommodate 1000+ boats at one area
Yessur!!!!
