Amazing,,,,,, Everyone already said what I would like to say in their wonderful comments,,,,, So I would just like to repeat what all the wonderful people had already said. thank you for taking the time, to show us what it is like to operate such a beautiful boat. I can say for a moment , I enjoyed it vicariously through you.🤣🤣 Thanks for taking the time James.
Wow James that was incredible to watch and very impressive, how you reversed that yacht into there was mind blowing. Loved the aerial view, at one point you could see the wash coming from the bow thruster. Brilliant video thank you James.
Yeah it's quite cool to see when the thruster is used from above and how it manipulates the boat. Shame I couldn't also have it up in the air when leaving the show as there was plenty more water movement around us to get turned and backed out.
Hi James, And thank you for this nice show how to manoeuvre this big Sunseeker 76 in close spaces with you it looks easy but i think is more difficult then you see so a great captain you are thanks adain for this great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mate, this thing what you did with the drone while docking.. that was the best idea ever, good job, this is the best docking video that i've ever seen on youtube :D Keep it up please! Cheers :D
Nice boat handling skills there. You are right about the drone being a good docking aid when you can see all round the boat from above. Love the 76 Yacht too.
It's honestly down to confidence. When I'm teaching (or should I say offering guidance as I'm not a seaschool capt), firstly you have to instil confidence and self-belief, the skills and refinement will come afterwards.
Watched you do a few of these , multi tasking too , very well done , just goes to show what is possible with a little know how and confidence in the boat
I had a few sharp intakes of breath as you were slotting it into the space at Swanwick! All while holding a camera and controlling a drone - very impressive 😎 It's about time Sunseeker started fitting drones as a docking aid to all their boats, with it tracking you and showing the picture on one of those nice big MFDs! Love these manoeuvring videos - keep 'em coming!
Now tell the truth James, inside you were ecstatic with that manoeuvre, especially with you colleagues all watching 😂. Really like these types of videos - thanks for taking the time to film and produce them.
Honestly at the time you don't have a moment to think about it, just got to get it done! There was a point part way through, where I didn't actually think it would fit (as we actually built the marina up around the boats after they were into position). The pontoon to my right that we were initially tied onto, was stopping me rotating the stern around to the right (as on pivot the bathing platform would contact) so it was actually a lot tighter than it even looked on the camera. You can probably tell from my lack of chatting away how much concentration is going on but it's always nice to get in/out cleanly...it doesn't always go to plan!
What A great video that is , really really enjoyed it, and that was a surgical precision first class docking well done captain. just a minor thought for future cameras repositioning "it would be great to focus one camera on the throttles & thrusters if possible" . Keep them coming please, thanks again
Nice bit of boat driving there, James. At one point I thought you were pivoting on the blue pontoon protector. Very precise and not bad for a beginner. 👍👍👍.
Is there a setting on the drone where it will just hover at a predetermined height over the controller for it? If not it surely can’t be hard for that to be programmed into a drone controller and feed the video signal into the boats nav screen. There would definitely be a good market for such a device as it’s so useful either for docking and close quarter manoeuvring, or just for leisure shots. Great video, love the 76 yacht!
As an "old school capt" I am a lover of shaft over pods, but there are benefits to both and each has their own fans. Something like the 76 is one of my favourite boats to handle, as it is just so predictable. A pod system on boat of this size in a strong cross wind would take (only in my view) more thought to perform the same manoeuvre, it would also be rocking around due to how the pod induces thrust. I think pods are great on boats up to the 65, and when it comes to sporty handling in open water, they are a lot more exciting that shafts.
Yup for sure, but we often find abandoned tenders use our berthing pool whilst their owners pop into the pub for a pint, so I have been caught out many times in the past when suddenly something is in the way. It's generally easier to reverse down from the main river channel as if it ultimately looks to be going wrong, we can extract back out to deep water/proper manoeuvring space much easier.
We use pods extensively on some models in the range, but the 73/75/76 series has always been a shaft boat. In order to truly benefit from pods, you have to design the whole boat around the drivetrain, it's not enough benefit just to have the joystick (as that tech now works on shaft), it has more to do with hydrodynamics and internal volume for more living space. There are compromises with both systems and fans of each.
What about some specs on these boats IF they are For Sale. It helps for those of us are interested or comparing. I wouldn't buy this one as I know nothing about it
Hey, I try to do different videos for different things. This one is showing docking/handling and then there are separate tours on the channel covering yachts that we have for sale/in stock.
Amazing,,,,,,

As a truck driver in the U.S , I tip my hat to you sir. Very precision movements and alot of patience always does the trick!

Docking a big yacht would be nerve wrecking for me. Its amazing to me to see it done. You have the best job ever. Thank you.
Very impressed James. Super cool and so well executed. Fascinating
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Supreme control of yacht, drone, mobile with commentary ... Brilliant multi-tasking skills ... Well done
Thank you! 👍
Great bit of docking James you had me on the edge of my seat holding my breath just amazing
Awesome boat James. Thank you for sharing!
WOW, amazing - I must need a bigger boat as I cannot berth my tiny 33ft like that. Excellent parking and footage.
Mate, this thing what you did with the drone while docking.. that was the best idea ever, good job, this is the best docking video that i've ever seen on youtube :D Keep it up please! Cheers :D
Glad you enjoyed it
Love when Kim helps you with sea trials! 😊
Nice boat handling skills there. You are right about the drone being a good docking aid when you can see all round the boat from above. Love the 76 Yacht too.
Nicely done James, you make it look so easy.
Love these videos. Fascinating. Many thanks James!
James that was brilliant as always and you never seem to panic like I have over the years when docking my boat
It's honestly down to confidence. When I'm teaching (or should I say offering guidance as I'm not a seaschool capt), firstly you have to instil confidence and self-belief, the skills and refinement will come afterwards.

Brilliant handling, James! Great to watch and learn! 👌💎👌😎❤️😎

loved watching you maneuver the boat both from the show and back to home base well done, loved the use of the drone as well.
Now tell the truth James, inside you were ecstatic with that manoeuvre, especially with you colleagues all watching 😂.

Best hatch videos on here by a good way , love it .
Good skills nipper. The worried faces on the jeanneau stand and then everyone else watching to see if you dink it.
haha yes a crowd always wishes for some good carnage - don't worry we've all had a few of those moments over the years!
I’m not a motor boat owner and even I know that was awesome manoeuvring, well done 👏🏼
Very skilful boat handling 👍 and a super video overall, thanks
Very nice video, please make more. Like from 0 to going out, all the things to do needed to run a boat out.
Great video with the camera views and drone footage
brilliant video. thanks for uploading
Amazing very experienced operator James.
I very nice demonstration how just gentle throttle and patience help you bring it into the berth in a challenging space.
Great video James, thank you for sharing
Amazing video, these yachts are huge and your where inches away from that pontoon… nerves of steel james!
What A great video that is , really really enjoyed it,
and that was a surgical precision first class docking well done captain.
just a minor thought for future cameras repositioning "it would be great to focus one camera on the throttles & thrusters if possible" .
Keep them coming please,
thanks again
I should have waited the drone shot coming in was brilliant
You are a master :) more videos about docking please
Excellent boating skills as always😊
Nice bit of boat driving there, James. At one point I thought you were pivoting on the blue pontoon protector. Very precise and not bad for a beginner. 👍👍👍.
bloody brilliant mate
Thanks James
Outstanding
Brilliant, thanks!
I do love the 76 yacht
Awsome Video. best ever.
Rather you then me ,great to see you at work wow
great job james that was great to watch good skills bro , keep up the good work with more vids🤩
Thanks, will do!
Great vids.
Impressed
Well in James. You had me nervous
Would have loved to see this from an overhead drone.......incredible!!!!!
You are a good driver James. Thanks for the good videos.
Nice driving
Thanks 👍
Serious skill James. I would have jumped overboard and got a taxi home.
These videos are so sick! Waiting for a superhawk 55 sea trial!
A masterclass. Thanks for the great views of (and for not hitting) my little tiddler on E9

Love this! Brought the boat alive. 100 Yacht in future perhaps for a fast run?
awesome work James, not made any easier by the crowd in the peanut gallery lol.
Thanks, yeah it's a little more nerve inducing when there is an audience!
Nice boat handling skills. Would that be easier with IPS drives?
As an "old school capt" I am a lover of shaft over pods, but there are benefits to both and each has their own fans. Looks like it would have worked also if out if you went in bow first, right turn and then back in the slip. But I'm looking at this from drone angle.
I realise now a drone could be a very helpful docking-tool!
Great video James. Quick question. When talking about fuel burn, is that overall or per engine
Per engine I was interested and hoping when he dropped to 7knots what it was but he didn’t say and I couldn’t see the display
Sorry yes should have said, that's per engine. Optimum on these is around 9knots when they are circa 40-45lph combined. (range around 950 nm)
James in hindsight would it have been possible to drive in and reverse back into space being nothing in pontoon in front!
WOW
Congratulation. That was a narrow berth.
When will Sunseeker start using pods instead of propellers?

Been a while James 😊
You could have got a 76 foot yacht through that gap in the harbour James...
What about some specs on these boats IF they are For Sale. It helps for those of us are interested or comparing.
I wouldn't buy this one as I know nothing about it
Hey, I try to do different videos for different things. This one is showing docking/handling and then there are separate tours on the channel covering yachts that we have for sale/in stock.
skills, I wonder how long it takes to learn how to do that without twitching...
