    Yes! I put conditioner all the way up to my scalp and that was a game changer. My daughter is still going with trendy info and I'm trying to convince her to put conditioner all through her hair all the way up to her scalp.putting oils on the scalp has been known for centuries to be good for the hair, so why wouldn't conditioners be ok to touch the scalp? Food for thought.

    Thanks for the video. Could you share what you eat for a full day or maybe a full week. That would be helpful for me to see what's is good. Visual learner here

      Hi Bonnie! Thanks for your comment! I often share a lot of what I eat on my Instagram stories. Also, what works for me, may not be what is best for you. But a good rule to follow is that eat more whole foods, and less food that were made in a factory, drink more water and less soda’s or sugary drinks, walk more!

    Hi Jenn, thanks so much for these videos. I'm almost 50. Have been dealing with hairloss and getting bald spots on my head. Recently getting hotflashes. Can you please make a video about how/what to eat in a day? If we should eat 3 or 1 meal. Intermittent fasting and keto, lowcarb or not? I really would like to know what is best for women at this age. 🤗

      Hi there! Thanks for tuning in and connecting with me here! I have a bunch of episodes on my podcast The Simplicity Sessions that address these symptoms. In peri menopause you should be eating at least 30g of protein during your meals. If you have adrenal issues, fasting may not be the best option for your body. Connect with me on Instagram, you could benefit from a free call with Kristine on my team.

    COVID thinned my hair and then a lot of it grew back. My hair is still thick but not as thick as when I was younger and I'm glad. My hair was so thick and heavy I had headaches from it.

    Thank you for the video. With curly hair, I dont use heat nor brush the hair as it ruins the curls. SO confusing, many health and longevity experts say NO MEAT and menopause experts say eat grass-fed meat. , I am on bhrt and now losing a lot more again suddenly, not sure if dosage needs adjustment, or if it is due to low t3 or what? .I have a postmenopausal friend who only uses water and some coconut oil at times and has beautiful hair and others say if you dont wash hair folicles get clogged and hair loss. My hair is SUPER dry so I tried natural conditioner on my scalp and lost so much more hair. It is dry, breaking and falling out. help, please! I am using some coconut oil on the ends and now mixed with peppermint oil on my scalp, should I add rosemary oil, I am so scared to lose more hair.

    I'm almost 42 and have been letting my gray hair grow out for about a year now but have been so stressed with just normal everyday life that my hair has been just falling out constantly - hard to find balance with kids and my husband working nights. every time I start a routine something distracts me and I have to start all over again - do you have a suggestion for staying on track with new habits?

    • @JennPike
      @JennPike  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Consistent small changes are what’s best. Don’t try and make big changes all at once. Try just drinking more water and taking your supplements for 2 weeks. Once you feel that is a solid routine for you, add something like sitting down to eat and enjoying a meal. Then 2 weeks later try something else. Give yourself grace when you don’t manage to complete the tasks that day. It happens. Pick it back up the next day.

    perfect 👍🏻 video as I’ve noticed this with my perimenopause BUT like YOU said it’s a lot more that can be going on not just perimenopause! stress also if you’ve had surgery the list goes on and on! I think 💭 sleeping 💤 on a silk pillow case does help too! my hair was long beautiful like your hair and 3 years ago I went through stress and had a heart 💜 procedure seems like also after that heart 💜 procedure it kicked in perimenopause and it’s just been unbelievable with many symptoms! there’s many factors just like you said including digestive issues all of this is SO OVERWHELMING/exhausting! MANY FACTORS play here and you’re right it’s actually best to let out hair air dry after washing DO NOT use heat/tools or hair bands braids and I’m SO guilty of braiding my hair or keeping it up as I sleep 💤 because I can’t stand my hair pulling or in my way as I sleep 💤 especially now my mood 🤣 isn’t the best! 💭💭💭 QUESTION for YOU what do you recommend OR what do YOU do when going to bed sleeping 💤 do you keep your hair down OR in a slight loose clip to keep hair out of the way?!? thank YOU for this video 🌹🤍🌹 please make MORE video’s MORE often I enjoy your knowledge/education 🌸

      Once I lay down on my silk pillow case, I gently twist my hair and put it at the top and back of my pillow. This keeps it up and out of the way while I sleep but doesn't have any ties or clips that could cause breakage while I move in my sleep. Hope this helps!

      @@denisea.9033 YES 👍🏻 good idea 💡 MY hair is SO bad now SO matted 👈🏻 I WAS in the hospital 🏥 for 3 DAYS and the pillows/starch on the pillows SERIOUSLY destroy MY hair 😱 it will probably take ME hours to work on MY hair actually 2 DAYS because it will SERIOUSLY exhausts ME working on it that I will ONLY be able to work on 1 side at a time 😱 then I can’t imagine how much breakage I will get 👈🏻😱⚠️🚨💭💭💭

      You should be connecting with a natural health practitioner to help you get to the root of where your iron is going. You can connect with one of the 4 practitioners in the Women’s Wellness Clinic on my website.
