      You’re suppose to push the disk all the down not just place it on the clothes. The disk keeps the clothes from spilling in between the machine. I learned my lesson. I’ve had mines for 3 years now and it’s still running smoothly.

      Hi, Not sure if you know this by now but the white plastic little thing that goes inside the spinner, you are supposed to use that no matter what it helps prevents your clothes from spilling over on the sides or getting caught in the machine And also to balance out the load that you have in the spinner

    I use mine in my bathtub. I use my handheld shower to fill, and draining is a breeze.
    In addition, I'm don't want a lot of lint going down my drain, so I tie a nylon knee-high stocking on to the end of the drain pipe. Works great.

    This is indeed 1 of the best things Ive bought on Amazon only for $80 total. Most apartments do not come with a washing machine nor shower rod/curtains so Amazon does wonders for us. I use a bucket to pour the water in and just have the washing machine sit in my bathtub for easy drainage. After the clothes are done dry spinning about 2 times then I put them on a portable hanging rack using a portable heater to dry them quicker.

    I strongly recommend snapping in the plastic disk. My daughter decided to wash her own laundry and skipped using the disk. We spent 3 hours trying to get her socks and underwear out from between the spin basket and the machine tub. We had to find a wire coat hanger, straighten it out, leaving a hooked end and boy what a dickens it was to get the little clothing pieces out! She learned the hard way it was better to take the extra 2 seconds and snap that disk in the spinner.

    You're supposed to snap that disk INTO the spinner on top of your clothes, not just lay it on top. The purpose is to keep anything from riding up and out of the top of the spinner..

    • @bluesky7838
      @bluesky7838 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Fir the sink you just unscrew the bottim of sink thing off. Buy a 7.00 hose adapter to put on sink. Than buy a better quality hose. I bought a stainless steel one from h. Depot. I actually prefer to fill it with shower head in the shower. I put washer in shiwer. These are known to link. NOte...what u failed to do..ince you spin..that only spin out durty water. You need to put in secind wash to wash out durty water than spin again. If you was and spin than hang you still have dirty water in clothes and you will smell.

    I own one of these machines and use it in the shower/tub of my RV, where I live full-time. I keep the switch on "Drain" while using the spin basket. It extracts quite a bit of water. I'd be worried about extracted water potentially backwashing into the spin basket when spinning ceases. Has that ever been an issue for you?

    • @PaulaCodo

      Hi, no I have never had any problems with this washer it’s a great product✨

    • @bluesky7838
      @bluesky7838 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's never been an issue for me (I've had one since the pandemic), and you really don't have to put it on Drain. The Drain setting is for the wash tub.

    • @mikeh8416
      @mikeh8416 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All the "drain" switch does is open the WASH TUB VALVE (and start the drain pump if you have one) so *IT* can drain. You don't need to use it when spinning (the spinner will start the drain pump). You can actually be filling up for the next load OR WASHING while the spinner is on, just leave the selector in "normal" mode.
      If you're getting backwash to EITHER tub then your valve is bad (mine just started doing that and I'm buying a new one).

      That is a really good question. I’m a big fan of agitators as well but yes, I do find this little machine. does a great job getting my clothes clean I do have to pre-treat some of my clothes but so far I’ve had no issues.🌸

    • @bluesky7838
      @bluesky7838 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@alexandraweston6816 Yes, I find my laundry comes out as clean as it does when I use the front-loader machines in my building. I usually give the wash some soaking time between agitations, which probably helps. In fact, one of the plusses of this kind of washer is that it's nice to be able to let things soak for a while in something like Oxy-Clean, even overnight if necessary.
      Also, I treat stains with a variety of stain removers, depending on type of stain (OK, I'm a little obsessed with getting stains out).
      By the way, I've learned through experience and research that the plastic tub can be rough on clothes and towels, etc , so I put all my wash into mesh bags (not just delicates).

      @PaulaCodo  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You don’t necessarily have to stand over it. I’m only doing this just to demonstrate the machine. There is a little more work involved in this machine, but it does give some people an option that can’t afford a regular size washer, or those who are not allowed to have a washer because they’re renting🌸

    • @bluesky7838
      @bluesky7838 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some of us apartment dwellers don't have the option for a "real" washing machine in our homes, and this is the next best thing.
      Speaking for myself, this has plusses and minuses: I'm very particular about how I do my laundry, and am a tad obsessed with stain removal and keeping my clothes for a long time. This machine gives me a lot of flexibility -- I can let things soak for a very long time, and control how long I want the wash cycle to go on.
      The plastic tub is rough on fabric, so I put everything (including sheets and towels) into mesh bags. When I first got the machine, I noticed that it was kind of eating through my towels. The mesh bags solve that problem, but it does not add to the fun.
      It's true that that the manual aspect has the downside that you have to drain and refill to do the rinse cycles. Also, the rinses are much more effective if you spin the items between cycles. So yes, that part is a time consuming drag, especially if you use it for sheets and towels (I usually do those in the laundry room in my building's basement).
      All in all, though, I'm very glad I have it, and use it a lot.
